RACE TWO

SHEZ GOT BLING (5) settled in the 1x1 trail last start over the AP mile but could not go with them in the latter stages as JINGLES BROMAC took the prize. Attacking the line strongly the start prior when only a neck shy of the winner, early position will be key to her chances in making a play for this.

IMA REGAL JET (9) is never far from the action but has just a solitary win in 50 attempts here at The Peninsula. Buried from inside the 2^nd line last start, he was best of the chasers as ELZBOY cruised home to an easy victory. Game when working hard the start prior, he can be joining in late in this.

MIDNIGHT QUEEN (6) was a winner here 3 starts back from gate 9 when packing too many guns in the closing stages of the battle. Well held in mares qualifiers at her past 2 starts, a return to this grade is a big plus.

PATCHWORK JET (1) was working home wide off the track last start from gate 9 but peaked on his run and could not finish it off. Back to an inside alley, he can look for improvement.

RACE THREE

Returning from a spell to kick-off his 3YO term, COURAGEOUS SAM (3) landed a win and a 2^nd from his 5 attempts during his 2YO season. A winner when proving too strong from the breeze 2 runs back, he has been given a pair of trials in readiness for the return. He looks to have conditions to suit for a 1^st up blitz.

TANCLATRA LIS (7) will be requiring some factors in her favour from this alley but if able to sight some gaps with track to play with, can be ready to make an offering. Angled to the pegs last start from the 2^nd line when returning from a spell over the AP mile, this race looks a mores suitable assignment.

MAC SWEENEY (4) was sent to the post as fav last start but was never in the mix after being wide off the track and then forced to retreat when no position was on offer. Fitter again following 3 runs since a spell, he has claims here.

GOODJET (1) has been kept fresh since her last outing when down the line here over the 1780m trip. Placed her previous 4 in succession, she has the gate to chime into the money once again here.

RACE FOUR

COBBLER LANE (9) will have to negotiate the 2^nd line, but he looks to get into this contest nicely after tackling harder races at headquarters at his past few starts. Doing his share of early work last time out, he faded late which had followed a tidy 3^rd behind MAGGIE. With a smart record at Redcliffe, he looks to get his chance.

HURRIKANE SPECIAL (3) was pinned down last start after starting from inside the 2^nd line and never had a shot at them as SWEET LOMBO took control out in front. Game in holding on for the bronze 2 starts back behind DELIGHTFUL REASON, she has the early speed to give them something to chase.

TODAYS HERO (6) landed gate 1 last start and with the soft ride was able to make a play up the passing lane to grab the bronze. Racing tough from the breeze the start prior, he is podium hope.

CONDAFEW (5) is fast approaching 12 months since his last victory as he continues to slip down the ratings. Luckless last start, he has been buried away at his past few and if sighting gaps can join in here.

RACE FIVE

ONYAJANS (1) has been hitting some nice areas in recent outings with a win and 3 minors in her past 4 attempts. Working home in nice order from the 2^nd line last time out, she finished best here 3 starts back over the 1780m. With a cosy trip in behind the speed, she can look to make the closing shot a winner.

PACIFIC COIN (5) pressed ahead from gate 5 here 2 starts back to take control over the sprint trip. Trying to stave off the challengers, he could not see it out as RANIERI arrived. Locked away last start as GOTTA MOMENT claimed a qualifier, this is much easier than his recent outings to give him a solid chance.

SHERBETS CHOICE (4) settled in the running line from gate 2 last start and was making a closing play to grab the silver as PLATINUM PROMISE proved too strong. His run the start prior was strong, and he is in the mix.

SWEET APPEAL (2) tried to take them all the way last start from gate 1 as the fav over the AP mile but could not see it out. Forced to race tough the start prior, she takes her 1^st look at The Triangle and can settle handy to feature.

RACE SIX

SONNY SAVEAO (6) started fav from gate 1 here 2 starts back and was soon pinned away and needing a huge slice of luck. Hitting the line strongly to be 4m from the winner ARTFUL MAID, he followed that with a 3^rd in a qualifier behind ONE OFF. This is easier than his past 2 and despite the gate can arrive.

PLATINUM PROMISE (5) shoots for the hat-trick as he looks to remain undefeated since arriving in Qld. A 1^st up winner from the 2^nd line here back in December, he was freshened before proving too strong from gate 5 last time out. Facing the tough alley once again, the threepeat is within reach.

HOT EMBERS (8) was building towards a win after a pair of placings and franked that assessment here last start when leading throughout and running a smart last 800m split. With even luck he will be thereabouts again.

SUGARKANE (9) tackled the AP 2138m last start from gate 1 where she took the trail before chiming in for the bronze behind COPPERFIELD. A smart winner here 4 starts back, she cannot be dismissed.

RACE SEVEN

KATACHA MAN (9) will take some benefit from his latest outing when stepping out in Qld for the 1^st time. Sent forward from gate 5, he was obliged to work hard in the run but was still punching when 4m from the winner HOT EMBERS. The gate is not ideal, but he looks to have found a suitable target.

MONTEREY JACK (6) faces a stiff task from this alley, but he is never too far from the action. Buried away from inside the 2^nd line last start, he was searching for the openings when 5m from the winner ONLY IN ROME. Charging home for the silver here 5 starts back, he can make a challenge.

GETALOADATHISGIRL (4) eased from this same gate last start before being wide off the track in the closing stages as CAMROLLER controlled it in front. Chasing behind ROCKNROLL DUDE the start prior, she can be joining in here.

TRUNKEY DIGGER (8) has been kept fresh since her last outing when tackling a mares qualifier where SAUCY DREAM scored a smart win. Beaten an eyelash the start prior, she can join in here.

RACE EIGHT

MISSINMEMATE (1) will appreciate the improved gate after his past 3 have been from wide out on the track. Sent forward from gate 6 last start to work hard in the run, he was in for the fight when only 1m from the winner. Leading over the 2138m 4 runs back, it took the smart TIZ A SIZZLER to run him down and he will be gripping on here.

LITTLE CHANGE (5) found a suitable race from this same gate last start over this same trip. Easing to find position, he was too strong in the closing stages when working home over the top of them in a tidy closing 800m split. Luckless the start prior when searching for openings, he can look to repeat.

OUR LITTLE DIGGER (7) was sound last start when retreating from gate 7 over the AP mile before running up behind them as MARK OF INTEGRITY scored. Look for him punching up the pegs in the stretch.

KURAHAUPO GAMBLER (8) hit the line in good order 3 runs back over this trip before capitalising on gate 2 when leading all the way at his next run. Runner-up to LITTLE CHANGE last start, he can chime in once again.

RACE NINE

BRIDGET BLUE CHIP (9) will need a rub of the green at some stage to get into the contest, but her recent form has been solid without landing a win. Closing strongly last start behind the dictating winner IDEAL WORLD, it followed a charging finish behind CLARRY. The gate stings but she might just appreciate a return to this line-up.

MUCH BETTOR (8) speared out from gate 5 last Saturday night to take control from gate 5 over the 2138m. Holding them all wide, it was stared down by BLACKSADANCE in the run and had his bell rung on the home turn. A tough 2^nd here 2 runs back, he has hit the board in 8 of 9 here at The Triangle and can throw it down.

HARPAGUS (1) eased from gate 3 last start over the AP mile and settled back in the pack before picking up some late ground behind OHOKA JIMMY. With the cosy trip from this gate, she can chime in.

GODDESS JUJON (7) will be requiring a slice of luck as she looks set to be pinned down on the poles here. Chasing behind MARK OF INTEGRITY last start, her Redcliffe record is smart, and she will be probing for openings.
