Attracting the biggest and best buying bench, the National Sale from May 19 to June 2 is the perfect place to offer the finest bloodlines to a worldwide audience with an insatiable demand for quality.

"The sale is positioned to provide opportunity for breeders to trade bloodstock at all levels with complete confidence," Magic Millions Managing Director Barry Bowditch said.

"It is the established must-attend sale and one that returns significant results each year."

"From weanlings and yearlings to racefillies and broodmares, the National Sale is the most trusted and transparent structure for selling stock."

"The Gold Coast is the perfect place to be in May and June - a world class thoroughbred auction accompanied by a Group 1 racing carnival on Australia's holiday playground - it is the most incredible event," Bowditch added.

National Weanling Sale - 19-20 May

With a top price of $1 million in 2021, the National Weanling Sale is the runaway industry leader with an average price 250% higher than the nearest comparable auction.

It's the sale that attracts a first class line up of pin-hook buyers but importantly now it's the end users making their mark - one in three lots now retained to race.

The 2021 sale featured 181 individual buyers and a gross of $31.7 million and incredibly the top 50 lots averaged over $350,000.

National Broodmare Sale - 24-26 May

In 2021 some 70% of Australia's $500,000 plus selling mares were sold at the Gold Coast.

Racefillies led the way with a record gross of over $50 million on a day where group winners averaged over $1 million.

The broodmare section in 2021 achieved a record gross of over $91 million with 300% more $1 million lots than any other auction house.

Attracting a truly world class buying bench, the National Broodmare Sale last year boasted 25 million dollar plus lots.

National Yearling Sale - 31 May-2 June

Last year's sale saw 360 lots sell to a large buying bench of 233 individual buyers with no fewer than 24 lots traded for $150,000 or more.

The top 50 lots of the sale averaged an impressive $163,550.

It's the sale that presents buyers with the last major opportunity to purchase youngsters eligible for the $14 million plus Magic Millions Race Series - a series that will include two new races in 2023.

It's that incredible carrot that leads the buyers to the Gold Coast.

Entries for the 2022 Magic Millions National Sale close on Friday, March 18.
