RACE TWO

KEAYANG TARA (1)
should appreciate an improved gate after facing tough draws in recent times. Hitting the line strongly last start to be within a neck of the winner OLIVER WINKLE after starting from the 2nd line, she comes up with all the options to capitalise.

RAANI (4) eased from gate 3 to secure position last start before trying to launch a closing raid when finishing 2m from the winner. Taking them all the way in a mare’s qualifier here 3 starts back, she can settle handy to the action to make a challenge.

MACH TORQUE (6) faces a stiff gate as she searches for a hat-trick of wins, the latest coming from the pocket trail and landing the prize up the passing lane. She has podium claims.

BRILLIANT ART (7) stuck to the inside last start after easing back from gate 3 to find the poles and from there was able to grab the bronze. Tucked away, she will be awaiting the gaps.

SELECTIONS: KEAYANG TARA (1), RAANI (4), MACH TORQUE (6), BRILLIANT ART (7)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-4-6-7

RACE THREE

RAINBOW JET (2)
did all the heavy lifting last start outside the leader after rolling forward form gate 5 and went within a nose hair of the prize. With the improved gate he will be taking a good shot in the early stages and if able to cross to the pegs, will take plenty of catching.

ABERCROMBIE TAB (1) rolled to the top last start after doing some work to eventually assume control and then despite being challenged strongly in the stretch was able to dig in to take the win. That made it 3 wins and a dead-heat victory in succession, and he will be hard to stop again.

ALTANA BLUE (3) pressed on last start to take control and once in front held off the challengers to claim the prize. He will likely need to work hard in the run here to make a play.

THE RAGNBONE MAN (7) will enjoy the cosy trip in behind the speed here and from there looms as a strong place prospect. Placed his past 2, he will be probing for the way clear.

SELECTIONS: RAINBOW JET (2), ABERCROMBIE TAB (1), ALTANA BLUE (3), THE RAGNBONE MAN (7)
SUGGESTED BET: RAINBOW JET (2) to win, Exotics 1-2-3-7

RACE FOUR

ARTISTIC SAINT (5)
sat in the pocket trail last start from inside the 2nd line and was taking his shot up the passing lane when finishing within a head of the winner. Just 6m away the start prior after being sent forward to sit parked, it is a sticky gate to overcome, but this looks within reach.

HEY MISTER TAYLOR (6) started from the 2nd line last start when trying to make a closing play and finishing 5m in arrears of the winner IMA BIRUBI BOY. Locked away over the AP mile the start prior, he was within 3m of the winner in a race that has produced 3 subsequent winners. The gate stings.

BOLD COWBOY (7) was angled to the poles last start and taking inside runs was sound to the line when 5m from the winner MACH TORQUE. The cosy trip will suit, and he will be probing.

SPRINGFIELD SPIRIT (3) eased from gate 5 last start and was trying to make a closing challenge when 8m from the winner MACH TORQUE. An improved gate can help his chances here.

SELECTIONS: ARTISTIC SAINT (5), HEY MISTER TAYLOR (6), BOLD COWBOY (7), SPRINGFIELD SPIRIT (3)
SUGGESTED BET: ARTISTIC SAINT (5) to win

RACE FIVE

A GOOD IDEAL (4) was sent out deep into the red last start from this same alley but was unable to get across and was forced to retreat to the rear to secure position and then could not make up the deficit. Proving costly in recent starts, going under as the favourite in 3 of his past 4, he can gain redemption.

PRIVATE JUJON (5) will be shooting for a hat-trick of wins after successive victories here over the 1780m trip. Sent to the front last start, he fought off the challengers to pull clear for an 8m victory. Too strong when parked the start prior, the threepeat is within reach despite a sticky gate.

DEVELSTIX (3) fired out to hold the front from gate 1 here last start and was trying to fight them off in the stretch when fading to be within 1.5m of the winner. Placed in 4 of his 5 here on The Triangle, he has claims.

CHASIN DREAMZ (2) made a closing play her 2 starts back to grab the bronze when 3m from the winner REGRETABLE. Down the line behind that same winner last start, she has podium claims.

SELECTIONS: A GOOD IDEAL (4), PRIVATE JUJON (5), DEVELSTIX (3), CHASIN DREAMZ (2)
SUGGESTED BET: GOOD IDEAL (4) to win

RACE SIX

GO AWAY (7)
has been a model of consistency with a top-3 in 6 of her past 7 starts. From gate 9 last time, she was wide off the track and making a closing play to be 2m from WHATELEY and the start prior was a similar margin from the in-form ABERCROMBIE TAB. She will be coiled, ready to strike.

MANOFLISA (1) is at his best when able to find the front and from this alley looks to find the ideal pattern. Unable to get across from gate 3 last start, he was soon at the rear after being snagged back to find position and then out of play. The gate gives him the chance and he will be gripping on.

JANG PEL (3) started from the 2nd line last start when chasing and unable to reel them in as WHATELEY took the prize. Just 3m away the start prior, he can be thereabouts in this line up.

FEEL THE THRILL (9) has no favours from the tough gate but was much sharper last start after being obliged to sit parked. Gunned down in front the start prior, he can be making a closing play.

SELECTIONS: GO AWAY (7), MANOFLISA (1), JANG PEL (3), FEEL THE THRILL (9)
SUGGESTED BET: GO AWAY (7) to win

RACE SEVEN

LORD DENZEL (8)
was angled to the poles from gate 9 last start and when spotting some space was hitting the line strongly to grab the silver behind REGRETABLE. Trying to take them all the way the start prior, he strikes an open contest here and with the right tempo can sneak away with the prize.

FREMARKSINDI (9) has had a tough run of gates in recent starts and comes up with another tough one. From inside the 2nd line last start, she chased hard when midfield to SHES ALL STAR. With the right cart into the contest, she can be making a closing play.

WRITEABOUTCHELSEA (3) was first to the pegs last start before releasing for the trail but could no go on with it in the latter stages. Drawn tight she can fire early bullets again here.

ALLY PINK (1) was runner up from the pocket trail here 3 starts back and has not been too far away in 2 starts since. The gate gives her chances in the exotics.

SELECTIONS: LORD DENZEL (8), FREMARKSINDI (9), WRITEABOUTCHELSEA (3), ALLY PINK (1)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE EIGHT

SUNNY COVE (6)
was sent around them in the early stages from the 2nd line last start and forced to work hard outside the leader, faded in the closing stages. Breaking the maiden tag here 2 starts back, he is getting keen in his races and if he can limit the work can look for win number 2.

SENORA JUJON (4) should appreciate a return to the front line after her past 2 have been from 2nd line barriers. Under 4m from the winner ROSES ARE SWEET last start after starting from gate 9, the start prior she was within a half-head of TEE RAVELLING and can be throwing it down here.

THE HARRIS HAWK (9) has no favours from out the back but is up to making a play here. Luckless last start when searching for gaps, he can be chiming in.

KIMMIK (7) shook off the maiden status here 2 starts back when sweeping home over the top of them. The tempo was against her last start, and she will be probing for openings here.

SELECTIONS: SUNNY COVE (6), SENORA JUJON (4), THE HARRIS HAWK (9), KIMMIK (7)
SUGGESTED BET: SUNNY COVE (6) to win

RACE NINE

KOOKABURRPRINCESS (8)
is running hot at present and probably should have 5 successive wins to her name. The score sheet will say that she has 4 wins and a 2nd, with that runner-up finish here 3 starts back where she was beaten 2m after giving away a tonne of ground. Her form looks far superior.

SHES ALL STAR (3) started from the 2nd line last time out and making a sustained run over the closing stages was able to arrive in the last strides to claim the prize. Striking trouble 2 starts back that ended her night with a gear issue, she can be forward to make her challenge.

JILLIBY GIZMO (2) moves into gate 1 and from there should be able to secure a nice trip in behind the speed, ready to make a closing play.

TACTFILLY MIRACLE (9) has placed at her past 2 starts and although facing a tough gate she can be looking for a cart home to make a podium play.

SELECTIONS: KOOKABURRPRINCESS (8), SHES ALL STAR (3), JILLIBY GIZMO (2), TACTFILLY MIRACLE (9)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 8 / 2-3-9

RACE TEN

MERIBEL (1)
has stung her supporters, going under in red figures at her past 2 starts, the latest when making a closing challenge from gate 9 to be a half-head in arrears of the winner followed a return where nothing went her way when 4m from the winner KIMMIK. She can make her own luck here.

HURRIKANE KING (7) has placed at his past 2 starts and should take further fitness from the latest start, after over 12 months off the scene. Resuming when 3rd to KIMMIK and finishing 5m from the winner, he was just a half-neck away last start. He will be stalking ready to strike.

ELLA UNDER FIRE (3) is yet to hit the board in 15 attempts but is showing gradual improvement at every outing. A return to the front line can help.

THE CROM (9) could not go with them last start from the pocket trail and faded late to be midfield. The gate stings again but he can chime in late.

SELECTIONS: MERIBEL (1), HURRIKANE KING (7), ELLA UNDER FIRE (3), THE CROM (9)
SUGGESTED BET: MERIBEL / HURRIKANE KING (1/7) quinella/exacta
