RACE TWO

JILLIBY JACKPOT (2)
should appreciate a return to The Triangle after two runs back from a let up have both been at The Creek. Resuming with a 3rd to the impressive and subsequent winner SLIP THE HUNDY, they left him flat when the sprint went on down the back last start. The gate is a big help.

LA SAFRON (6) returns from a freshen after ending last season with a win here over this trip. Taking the trail from gate 1 in that event, he owned the superior closing speed to land the win up the passing lane. Opening the pipes with a pair of smart trials, he can throw it down fresh.

BEEF CITY BLAZE (1) will take benefit from his latest outing where he was resuming from a spell and not much really went his way. With the cosy trip in behind the speed he can be ready to strike.

PARATROUPER (3) will be tightened from his smart return to the track here last week when resuming since September. With a super record here at the Peninsula, he cannot be left out.

SELECTIONS: JILLIBY JACKPOT (2), LA SAFRON (6), BEEF CITY BLAZE (1), PARATROUPER (3)
SUGGESTED BET: JILLIBY JACKPOT (2) to win

RACE THREE

MAYWYN A JUG ORTWO (9)
had been building towards a victory and franked that assessment when lading a drought breaking win two starts back with an all the way effort from gate 2. Buried away last start, he sprinted hard when the gap arrived to go back-to-back and the threepeat is achievable.

WEDDING NIGHT (1) was sent to the post as the punters elect last start from gate 3 and after setting the speed was unable to see it out. Finishing 6m from the winner WHATELEY, she has since returned to the trials and with the options from this alley will be in position to challenge.

TACTFILLY MIRACLE (7) has been in consistent touch in recent weeks, recording four successive minor placings. 3m from ALTANA BLUE last start, the economical trip will suit her pattern.

SHES ALL STAR (3) was a winner here three starts back when settling rearward from the 2nd line before powering home over the top. Gunned down in front last start, she is in the mix.

SELECTIONS: MAYWYN A JUG ORTWO (9), WEDDING NIGHT (1), TACTFILLY MIRACLE (7), SHES ALL STAR (3)
SUGGESTED BET: MAYWYN A JUG ORTWO (9) to win

RACE FOUR

JACKBKWIK (3)
was returning from a spell and having his first appearance for the new stable last time out when sent to the post as favourite. Setting the speed from gate 2, he was keen in the lead and could not finish it off when 4m in arrears. The added fitness and the gate can see him atone.

ROYAL PRINCESS (8) was just a head away here three starts back when releasing from gate 1 before taking the closing shot to come up just short. Chasing home behind SPEED OF SOUND last time out, she can press through early and look to make a closing challenge.

LA PISTOLA (2) has had three runs since resuming from a spell and been sharper at each outing. Within 3m of the winner GO AWAY to grab 3rd last start, he can be close enough to feature.

TRUE STEPPER (5) eased to the poles last start from gate 4 and using the passing lane chimed in to grab the bronze. The gate is not ideal, but she can feature in this type of contest.

SELECTIONS: JACKBKWIK (3), ROYAL PRINCESS (8), LA PISTOLA (2), TRUE STEPPER (5)
SUGGESTED BET: JACKBKWIK (3) to win

RACE FIVE

KOOKABURRAPRINCESS (1) started in the red here last week from inside the 2nd line when looking to complete a hat-trick of victories but was unable to get it done when finishing 5m in arrears of the winner ALTANA BLUE. From the gate she looks set to bounce back with vengeance.

ALTANA BLUE (8) made the most of his chances here last start to fire off the arm, take control and keep them chasing. Pressing on to the front here three starts back and then holding on for the win, he needs to overcome the 2nd line in a race that is full of winning form across the entire field.

ABERCOMBIE TAB (5) was looking to make it five successive victories here last start when asked to grind it out when parked and having to settle for the silver. The wide gate stings his chances.

HIGH ON MONTANA (6) has been hitting some good areas with a win in three of his past four outings. Overcoming gate 6 last start to power home over the top, he is in the mix again.

SELECTIONS: KOOKABURRAPRINCESS (1), ALTANA BLUE (8), ABERCOMBIE TAB (5), HIGH ON MONTANA (6)
SUGGESTED BET: KOOKABURRAPRINCESS (1) to win

RACE SIX

A GOOD IDEAL (8)
capitalised from gate 3 last start when sent to the front and once in control was never in danger to pull clear for a 5m margin. Beaten deep into the red the start prior, he has the 2nd line to overcome but, in a race, lacking any real depth, he can go back-to-back.

OUR EDUARDO DENARIO (7) will be requiring a slice of luck at some point from this alley as he looks in danger of being hemmed away. Making the most of a front-line starting alley to take them all the way last start, he will be searching for the openings.

WHATA REACTOR (6) eased back from this alley last start and was trying to launch a closing rally when finishing 8m in arrears of the winner. Despite the wide gate she can be in the mix.

JAMAICAN RESORT (2) does not have any real inspiring numbers to report but finds a race where he can look to get across to the pegs. He can be sharper up on the engine.

SELECTIONS: A GOOD IDEAL (8), OUR EDUARDO DENARIO (7), WHATA REACTOR (6), JAMAICAN RESORT (2)
SUGGESTED BET: A GOOD IDEAL (8) to win

RACE SEVEN

REGRETABLE (8)
was looking to make it four on the bounce last start when starting from this same gate. Unable to go with them in the closing stages, she finds the conditions to earn some redemption and add another win to her impressive record on this deck.

FEELING THE POWER (6) is knocking on the door and has now placed in four of his past five starts, the latest when closing out for 3rd behind JAYDES TERROR. Completely luckless the start prior when striking dead ends at every switch, the wide alley dents his challenging chances.

PATCHWORK JET (4) has placed at his past three starts, the latest from the passing lane when grabbing the bronze behind LITTLEDEE. He might just look to be aggressive here and has claims.

MANY DELIGHTS (7) was runner-up last start after sitting parked and grinding it out, which had followed a victory when too tough. He will be searching for the gaps from this alley.

SELECTIONS: REGRETABLE (8), FEELING THE POWER (6), PATCHWORK JET (4), MANY DELIGHTS (7)
SUGGESTED BET: REGRETABLE (8) to win

RACE EIGHT

RAINBOW JET (6)
was building towards a victory, having been runner-up here in successive outings including a nose defeat after working hard in the run. Capitalising from the ace here last week, he did it comfortably in front and despite the tough gate finds the right race to go back-to-back.

SUNNY COVE (9) eased from gate 5 last start to settle at the rear and was making some metres in the latter stages when midfield to RAINBOW JET. Grinding it out when parked the start prior, he is slowly starting to put it together and can look to make a play in this line up.

KIMMIK (3) was a winner here four starts back when powering home over the top of them to claim a maiden breaking win. Eased to the poles last start from gate 4, she is a podium hope in this contest.

MAYWYN MACDUFF (8) was asked to do it the tough way last start when racing first over outside RAINBOW JET, fading in the closing stages after the tough trip. He can chime in here.

SELECTIONS: RAINBOW JET (6), SUNNY COVE (9), KIMMIK (3), MAYWYN MACDUFF (8)
SUGGESTED BET: RAINBOW JET (6) to win

RACE NINE

TULHURST LOVER (5)
was a winner here five starts back when easing early from gate 6 before having the closing power to arrive in the latter stages wide off the track. He could not get warmed up wide out last start but finds the right conditions to make the closing play a winner here.

WAVEDANCER (8) was too far back in the pack last start when trying to make a closing raid and could not eat into the deficit as JAYDES TERROR arrived for the prize. Just 3m away the start prior after settling in the 1x1 trail, he can be close enough to make a challenge in this line up.

JILLIBY GIZMO (3) eased to the poles last start from gate 3 and was picking off some late metres as NAUGHTYINHEAVEN took them all the way. He can be thereabouts once again.

ALLY PINK (1) has one minor in five attempts at this trip but has the good alley in her favour. 3rd from this same alley last start, she can fill a minor again here.

SELECTIONS: TULHURST LOVER (5), WAVEDANCER (8), JILLIBY GIZMO (3), ALLY PINK (1)
SUGGESTED BET: TULHURST LOVER (5) to win

RACE TEN

HURRIKANE KING (1)
had placed in three successive outings prior to his latest run where he finished at the tail of the field. That was in a much tougher contest against experienced performers and the return to maiden company here is a big plus. With the right trip he can land the winning blow.

AS SHE SAYS (5) makes her race debut here from the tough gate for trainer Jack Butler. By Well Said, she is the first foal out of the eleven-win mare Arts Bliss. With a pair of smart trials on this track in readiness for her first appearance, she stays under watch.

PRIDE AND LOUD (2) fired out here last week and looked to take them all the way but was collared in the closing stages as MERIBEL claimed a neck victory. With the alley to dictate, she is right in this.

THE WHISTLER (7) should enjoy the economical trip against the markers and be searching for the gaps to chime in over the closing stages.

SELECTIONS: HURRIKANE KING (1), AS SHE SAYS (5), PRIDE AND LOUD (2), THE WHISTLER (7)
SUGGESTED BET:
