RACE ONE

A return to mobile conditions and in this grade, KAR MANOR (6) looks to get his chance to bounce back to winning form. Closing out in good order to grab the silver here on Tuesday behind JACCKA WATCH, he was a tough 2nd three back to LEESA CASTLETON. Conditions look ideal.

HELLO JOLENE JOLENE (7) is enigmatic and last start was banished to the trials after making an error in the run. Doing everything perfect at the trials and scoring by an impressive margin, she returns here and if able to trot cleanly, she is up to issuing a challenge. There are a lot of ifs.

YEA YOU (3) is 1 from 16 on this deck, that victory when overcoming a 40m handicap. Striking trouble last start, he was a distanced 3rd to MATATOKI two back but in this line up can feature.

JUST CALL ME MOLLY (2) is normally safely away from the start car and can be looking to get across to the poles in the early stages. Settling handy gives her podium claims.

SELECTIONS: KAR MANOR (6), HELLO JOLENE JOLENE (7), YEA YOU (3), JUST CALL ME MOLLY (2)
SUGGESTED BET: KAR MANOR (6) to win

RACE TWO

Hitting good arears in recent times, SHEZ ALL STYLE (3) has won three of her past seven starts with a further two minors. Sent to the front in a mare’s qualifier last start, she was in control and able to repel the challengers to claim a 1m margin. She has the gate to chase the repeat.

TURBO BROMAC (1) will relish the improved gate after facing a string of tough alleys in recent starts that have put things out of reach. Taken back from 7 last time and then never in the mix as APOLLO DREAMZ controlled it up front, he has all the options to turn his numbers around.

GOLDIES A DELIGHT (4) was sent forward from gate 5 here two starts back and forcing the issue worked to the front. Collared late by WHOSTOLEMYPIGEON, she is a podium player here.

RAANI (7) was luckless last start when searching for space that never arrived. With no favours from the outside paint, she can be making a closing raid.

SELECTIONS: SHEZ ALL STYLE (3), TURBO BROMAC (1), GOLDIES A DELIGHT (4), RAANI (7)
SUGGESTED BET: SHEZ ALL STYLE (3) to win

RACE THREE

Landing second line options here as the lone runner out the back, BOMB SUIT (8) will likely be eased into the running line and hoping some mid-race pressure is generated. Collared last start when trying to lead throughout, he was game when parked here two back and can descend on them here.

THE WATERBOY (4) finally put it together two starts back at Redcliffe and despite not receiving the best run-in transit, was able to see it out. Fresh up last start and showing plenty of improvement, he took them all the way. The rise in grade and to the 2138 will ask plenty of questions.

BETTOR ROMANCE (5) broke through to claim a mare’s qualifier four runs back when taking them all the way. Placed at her past two from tough positions in the run, she looms as a podium hope again.

BLACKJACK BART (3) was runner-up last start in a second division qualifier over this trip when sent to sit parked. Grafting it out to be 2m in arrears of the winner, this is well within reach.

SELECTIONS: BOMB SUIT (8), THE WATERBOY (4), BETTOR ROMANCE (5), BLACKJACK BART (3)
SUGGESTED BET: BOMB SUIT (8) to win

RACE FOUR

Looking to take them all the way over the 2040 trip at Redcliffe two starts back, FLY CHEVAL (10) led them deep into the stretch but could not finish them off. On the four-day back-up, she was too strong back at the sprint trip powering over the top. Tempo looks right for her to repeat that here.

LORD DENZEL (7) has been a model of consistency in recent attempts, with a win three starts back from gate 10 sandwiched between four 2nd placed returns. Runner-up from this alley last week to subsequent winner JUST ONE GOOD ONE, he can get the right trip to issue a challenge.

RISKY BUZINESS (4) was wide off the track from outside the front line at Redcliffe last start and doing plenty in the run when fading in the closing stages. He may need to work again here.

RAFFERTY DELIGHTS (8) burrowed through to hold control last start and from the front was trying to repel the challengers when 4m astern of the winner. He will be probing the openings here.

SELECTIONS: FLY CHEVAL (10), RISKY BUZINESS (4), LORD DENZEL (7), RAFFERTY DELIGHTS (8)
SUGGESTED BET: FLY CHEVAL (10) to win

RACE SIX

With a potential NSW Derby campaign on the radar, ARODA (8) will need to dominate from the tricky gate to get the ticket stamped. First up for the season, his only Qld appearance was a clinical win at the mile highlighted by a 27.2 closing panel. His class can see him home.

JILLIBY TYPHOON (2) was not suited from gate 7 last time out when starting fav after being sent forward and asked to sit parked. Wilting in the stretch to be near the rear, her numbers are far from inspiring but from this gate gets the chance for a closer finish.

DIEGO DELGADO (1) tried to break the field apart last start when set free down the back stretch but he could not hold them off when holding on for the bronze. That was from the second line with the improved gate a benefit.

LOOKS JUST RIGHT (3) held on to claim the bronze behind the handy FREE THINKER last start after securing running line cover. An all the way winner four back, he is a podium hope.

SELECTIONS: ARODA (8), JILLIBY TYPHOON (2), DIEGO DELGADO (1), LOOKS JUST RIGHT (3)
SUGGESTED BET:  ARODA (8) to win

RACE SEVEN

STUDLEIGH MARK (3)
darted across to lead them up over this trip last start, the leading rights coming at the expense of a 26.9 opening panel. Fighting on to hold 3rd when 3m from the winner CUSTOM NIKE, he can get across again here and spending less early, finds his chance to cash in.

BONZA GUY (6) has been successful in three of his past five starts and finished runner-up when beaten a half-head in another. Controlling it from gate 1 last start and holding on for a narrow victory, the gate makes it tougher, but he finds conditions to challenge.

ONLYSBEST (10) started from inside the second line last start and was looking for a way clear when 7m in arrears of the winner. Tempo will help his closing chances.

SUBSTITOOTH (8) is first up in Qld for Jack Butler and is fresh up from his last appearance at Bankstown back in December. Runner-up two starts back, he will be probing for gaps.

SELECTIONS: STUDLEIGH MARK (3), BONZA GUY (6), ONLYSBEST (10), SUBSTITOOTH (8)
SUGGESTED BET: STUDLEIGH MARK (3) to win

RACE EIGHT

A strong and open contest to close the card with several chances depending on scenarios. Claiming his first Qld win here last week ROLLYARRRZ (1) started from this same gate and from the trail had the closing speed to arrive. With the soft trip, he can again be ready to strike in the stretch.

MELTON BEACH (4) had gate 1 last start and opting for the trail secured the ideal trip before making the closing shot up the passing lane a winning one. That was his best gate in some time and although facing a potentially awkward alley here, can settle close enough to throw down another challenge.

ALTA REVELRY (7) is given no favours from the wide gate and also backs up from the same race claimed by ROLLYARRRZ. Making a mid-race attack that was repelled in finishing midfield, he can be thereabouts.

NICKS PICK (3) eased from gate 5 last start and was soon locked away four back on the poles. Making some nice closing metres when 8m from ROLLYARRRZ, he can be close enough to feature.

SELECTIONS: ROLLYARRRZ (1), MELTON BEACH (4), ALTA REVELRY (7), NICKS PICK (3)
SUGGESTED BET:
