RACE TWO

BEYOND A SHADOW (4) returns to the main draw after enduring the ODM embargo at her past 3 outings. Working home soundly over the 2138m last start at The Creek, she was too far back the start prior when retreating from gate 7. Striking a winnable race, she can look to capitalise.

PITTSWORTH MAN (9) has slowly been working towards a victory and with even luck in transit, might just deliver it here. Looking to take them all the way last start over the 2040m trip, he held on for the bronze after fading late. He did some early work the start prior and this seems within reach.

REGALIA (6) faced an extended period between his 1st victory and his 2nd when charging home here 2 starts back to score. Runner-up last start when closing soundly, he can be thereabouts once again.

GHOST GUM (8) was buried down on the poles last start from inside the 2nd line and was making a late charge to get within a half-neck of the winner. With the right trail he can chime in again.

SELECTIONS: BEYOND A SHADOW (4), PITTSWORTH MAN (9), REGALIA (6), GHOST GUM (8)
SUGGESTED BET: BEYOND A SHADOW (4) to win

RACE THREE

ILLBEWATCHING (4)
has placed at 4 of his past 5 starts, the latest when best of the rest when chasing the big winner MAYWYN TROUBADOR over the AP mile. Pressing on to take control here 2 starts back, he could not see it out when settling for 3rd. In a tricky contest, he can look to hold on.

SHEZ GOT BLING (5) started fav last start over the 2138m trip but was seemingly under pressure a long way from home when midfield. Working home in nice order to grab the bronze the start prior from the 2nd line, she can ease for position and be looking to make a closing challenge in this.

WILD ABOUT TOWN (6) has no favours from the wide gate but in a race that looks quite open, he has podium claims if able to limit the work. An all the way winner 2 starts back, he is a place hope.

TICK OF THE CLOCK (7) settled in the running line from the 2nd line gate over the AP mile last start and was making good closing ground to grab the bronze. He will be probing for a way clear here.

SELECTIONS: ILLBEWATCHING (4), SHEZ GOT BLING (5), WILD ABOUT TOWN (6), TICK OF THE CLOCK (7)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 4-5-6-7

RACE FOUR

With his best gate for some time MONTANA FLASH (1) can look to take full advantage here. Eased from gate 5 last start to find position, he was making some in-roads in the closing stages, while the start prior he was pinned down on the pegs back in the pack. He looks to get his chance to cash-in.

LIFEINHEAVEN (5) eased from this gate 2 starts back before making a sweeping run in the closing stages to grab the silver behind the comfortable winner GOALKICKER. From the pocket trail last start she was badly hampered when the leader hoisted the white flag. She can make a closing play in this.

MARTINSON (3) will take benefit from his last start outing despite finishing down the line. That was his 1st start since April and settling close to the action can be much sharper back to the sprint trip.

DEADLY ROCKER (6) has no favours from the carpark alley here but in this line-up can sneak into the minors. Forget his last start where TARGARYEN blew them away, this looks more suitable.

SELECTIONS: MONTANA FLASH (1), LIFEINHEAVEN (5), MARTINSON (3), DEADLY ROCKER (6)
SUGGESTED BET: MONTANA FLASH (1) to win

RACE FIVE

GOALKICKER (4)
had been without victory for an extended period when finding her race here 2 starts back and making the most of her opportunity was able to cash-in. Doing too much work in the run last start was her undoing and if she can get to the front cheaply here can bounce back.

MISS CATALINA (1) has been runner-up at her past 2 appearances, the latest when 3 back against the poles and making a strong closing challenge to get within a half-neck of the prize. Eased from gate 5 the start prior she was closing hard behind PHOTOZEN and with the soft trip here can strike.

ABERCROMBIE TAB (6) has hit the board in 75% of his 16 outings here at The Triangle, the latest when grabbing 3rd behind PACIFIC COIN. The gate dents his chances, but he can be in the mix again.

OUR ULTIMATE VICKI (7) has been kept fresh and returns to the Donny Smith barn where she claimed all 3 of her career victories. With an economical trip, she can be searching for a way clear.

SELECTIONS: GOALKICKER (4), MISS CATALINA (1), ABERCROMBIE TAB (6), OUR ULTIMATE VICKI (7)
SUGGESTED BET: GOALKICKER (4) to win

RACE SIX

Like a few of the races today, this is another tricky contest with the early speed and positions in running key to the hopes of some of those searching for form. A winner 2 starts back AROONA (3) might just be able to land in a handy enough position to make the closing shot a winning one. Making ground from a long way back last start, he is worth a ticket.

GEORGEZILLA (8) should be able to follow through in the early stages to secure position and with added fitness after 3 runs back from a long break can be in the hunt. Easing from gate 4 to find position last start, he was sound to the line over the AP mile and he can be chiming in here.

APACHE WHITESOX (4) eased from gate 5 last start before making a late charge and was just edged a little wider when trying to wind up. Only a half-head away here 2 starts back, he is not out of this.

MELTON INSULTED (6) broke the maiden tag here 2 starts back when securing the perfect trip and then finishing best to score. Quickly adding another win last start when leading throughout, the gate stings but she has the form on the board.

SELECTIONS: AROONA (3), GEORGEZILLA (8), APACHE WHITESOX (4), MELTON INSULTED (6)
SUGGESTED BET: AROONA (3) to win

RACE SEVEN

THERESACHANCE (3) owns good speed out of the machine and from this alley can look to take control. From the 2nd line last start he opted for the peg line to look for the shortest way home when midfield behind CAPTAIN COSMONAUT. Only a head away here 3 starts back, this looks within reach.

GETALOADATHISGIRL (8) was shooting for a hat-trick of victories last start when nothing really went in her favour and she went to the line searching for a way clear. Finding the front before releasing and then making the last shot count here 2 starts back, look for her making the swooping challenge.

MONTEREY JACK (5) was sent forward last start at The Creek to face the breeze and despite the tough run, he proved to tough in scoring a gritty victory. 3rd here 2 starts back, he can be in the mix.

LETS GO BETTER (4) has a slightly improved gate after facing some wide alleys in recent starts, the latest when only 2m from the winner after starting from the 2nd line over the AP mile. He might just be able to wrestle away the lead and that would put him right into winning contention.

SELECTIONS: THERESACHANCE (3), GETALOADATHISGIRL (8), MONTEREY JACK (5), LETS GO BETTER (4)
SUGGESTED BET: THERESACHANCE (3) to win

RACE EIGHT

SUGARKANE (9) eased from gate 6 over the AP mile last start and sent to the pegs hoping for some luck and the shortcuts was left lamenting with the speed dictated in front. Leading all the way the start prior here over the 1780m trip, she has a smart record here at Redcliffe and can look to overcome the gate.

GWENDALION (1) sat back in the pack from her 2nd line alley last start before making a strong challenge in the closing stages to sweep past them and run away to a 12m victory. Setting the speed in front the start prior when grabbed in the closing stages, she has the options to capitalise here.

PACIFIC COIN (5) swept the heat and final series when leading all the way in both. Taking control in the early stages of the final, he kept them all chasing to claim a 4m victory. The gate dents his chances, but he can feature.

MY ULTIMATE HESTON (3) was sent around the field from the 2nd line last start and in for the fight proved too strong in claiming victory by 3m. With the ability to work in transit, he will be in the fight.

SELECTIONS: SUGARKANE (9), GWENDALION (1), PACIFIC COIN (5), MY ULTIMATE HESTON (3)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE NINE

TOANUI SPIRIT (3) started from gate 6 last time out when retreating early to find position before hitting the line nicely over the closing stages to grab 3rd. Making a costly error the start prior, it has been a while between drinks but with the chance to look for the lamp lighting duties can capitalise.

MY ULTIMATE LOUIE (9) started from gate 9 last start at The Creek and was making a closing dive in a blanket finish to get within a lip of the winner MONTEREY JACK. Away from the inside early to make the closing shot a winner 2 starts back, he can be looking to close strongly to challenge.

MISTER FINNIGAN (6) retreated from this gate last start in a 2nd division qualifier when the tempo made it near impossible for the chasers. In nice touch, the gate again stings but he can join in against this line-up.

SUBTLE ADVICE (1) was obliged to do it the tough way last start when facing the breeze and fading late under the heat of a strong closing 800m in front. Only 1m in arrears the start prior, he can feature from this alley.

SELECTIONS: TOANUI SPIRIT (3), MY ULTIMATE LOUIE (9), MISTER FINNIGAN (6), SUBTLE ADVICE (1)
SUGGESTED BET: TOANUI SPIRIT (3) to win
