RACE TWO

A winner at 3 of his past 5 starts, EYRE I GO (5) has thrived under the care of Chloe Butler. His past two wins at Redcliffe have been against the pacers, the latest where he had no right to win from the leaders back but mustered the momentum to arrive up the passing lane. Defeating TAM OSHANTER here 5 runs back, he should relish taking on his own gait.

VAN SANK (6) can be a hard horse to follow and he lines up here on an interrupted campaign with his last start back on November 13 when going off stride in the Trotters Cup claimed by SIR FAHRENHEIT. At his best he is up to this, but where he is at present is the conundrum.

IM THE COMMANDO (8) has the 2nd line options as the lone runner. Striking trouble in the Redcliffe Christmas Cup last start, he rounded them up here 3 starts back and will be right in the fight.

RIGONDEAUX (7) was a close-up 2nd at his first Qld appearance behind IM THE COMMANDO and followed that when making a starting error from the tapes. All 6 of his wins have been from the mobile.

RACE THREE

Finding form that includes claiming his first win here at The Creek, WILD ABOUT TOWN (4) will line up in search of the hat-trick. Taking them all the way from gate 1 here 2 starts back in a new career PB, he followed it with an all the way win over 1780m at The Triangle. The threepeat is on.

SWEET SANGRIA (10) was well supported in the market last start from gate 5 over the mile but could no go with them when the speed went on. The form from that contest has held with the runner-up CHARLEVOIX since claiming victory. With the right trail, she can look for a sharper challenge.

LITTLEDEE (6) was looking for 3 on the bounce last start when sent forward to sit parked over the mile from gate 4. Fading in the closing stages, she is again given no favours from this alley.

GO JO JOLT (8) is still searching for a breakthrough Qld win that is edging closer after placing in 3 of her past 5 starts. Within 3m of the winner BETTING BARON last start, she will be probing.

RACE FOUR

Placed in 4 of his 7 career starts JUDGE JUJON (4) might just have found the conditions to breakthrough. Asked to hang tough when parked last start over the Redcliffe sprint trip, he was game when 5m from the winner VODKA EN ICE. 3rd here the start prior, today can be the day.

WARRAWEE FLYER (3) was runner-up at her first AP appearance when asked to do it the tough way sitting parked and holding on behind subsequent winner BLACKJACK SHAZ. Taking the trail last start from the ace, she looks well-placed against these opponents to throw down a challenge.
 
LEFT TO ROCKNROLL (2)
has been to the track on two occasions, the latest at Redcliffe when firing out to take control from gate 3 before fading late to hold 3rd. With added experience she can feature.

EXPLANATION NOTED (6) secured the perfect trip in behind the leader last start and when the gap opened was the best of the chasers as BLACKJACK SHAZ scored easily. The gate dents her hopes.

RACE FIVE

VIEWBYTHEROCK (9) was snagged back from gate 6 last start to settle near the rear but could not warm up and was down the line behind ILLAWONG DREAMTIME. From the 2nd line at Redcliffe the start prior, he went within a nose hair of success which followed a win. He can bounce back in this.

FORTES IN FIDE (4) was sent to the post as the favourite last start when slotting into the 1x1 trail and continuing to chase when within 3m of the in-form winner TRACER BULLET. Runner-up to the smart CLASS TO THE MAX 3 starts back, he can roll forward here to throw down a challenge.

ALLSTAR SEA (7) has been hitting some nice areas with 3 wins his past 5 appearances. Claiming a 2m victory at Redcliffe 2 starts back, he did not have the smoothest run last start. The gate stings.

SHOWEM SIMON (8) started favourite last start at Redcliffe when sent forward from the 2nd line to sit parked and finishing 3m from the winner. From this alley he will be probing.

RACE SIX

HELLO ITS ME (1)
tackled a strong mares race last time out when sent forward from gate 5 to sit parked. Grafting away, it was a gritty effort to finish 7m from the winner SPIRITED BELLE. Sharing 3rd, the start prior behind IT AINT THE MONEY, she lands all the favours from this alley to capitalise.

LADY AVANA (4) started from gate 10 last start when settling rearward over the mile in the same race as HELLO ITS ME. Still at the rear with 400m to travel, she attacked the line in smart order to be just 4m in arrears of the winner. 3rd in the Members Cup the start prior, she can throw it down.

BANGKOK BRAVADO (2) started from inside the 2nd line at Redcliffe last start, securing the perfect trail to make the passing lane shot a winning one. With early hustle, he can feature in this.

MUCH BETTOR (6) will take added benefit from his last outing where he was 2nd up from a spell. Chasing as SPIKE BROMAC dictated in front, he has podium claims here.

RACE EIGHT

Hitting the board at 66% here at The Creek after 18 attempts A WHOLE LOTTA ROSIE (4) has been able to land 4 wins in that number. The last of those came 2 starts back when applying some early heat before taking the trail and then finishing over the top to score. Forget her last start, she can bounce back here.

TINGE OF FEAR (5) capitalised from gate 1 last time out when taking control over the Redcliffe 2040m trip and once in front was never headed when cruising home to a comfortable 10m victory. Fighting hard from the breeze the start prior, the gate stings but she looks up for the challenge.

SHEZ ALL STYLE (1) was a winner here 3 starts back when taking the trail and then landing the winning blow up the passing lane. Just 5m away last start, she will be ready to strike.
 
SO AM I (8) released the speed after finding the poles first here 2 starts back and then took the closing shot to score his first AP victory. Fading after working in the run last start, he will be probing.

RACE NINE

Completing a threepeat of victories last start when winning from this same alley IM JIMMY JAMES (10) will be hoping the tempo is strong to allow him to make the closing play. Finishing over the top at the end of the 2138m trip last start, it followed successive Redcliffe wins and a quartet is achievable in this line up.

RINGOS A STAR (1) eased from gate 5 over the Redcliffe sprint trip last start and was at the rear of the pack in transit. Making a wide run, he really attacked the line with gusto to arrive for a narrow victory in a new career PB. Still an AP maiden, he will get the perfect trip to make a challenge.

BONNIES CAM (2) was beaten by gate 7 last time in a qualifier when easing to find position as BELLA BALL TERROR took control. Grabbed in the closing stages here the start prior, he will be gripping on.

MONGOLIAN CONQUEROR (9) took them all the way last start over the middle trip when firing out to take control from gate 3. Following through in the early stages can see him feature.
