RACE TWO

SLIDE TO UNLOCK (7)
was first up for Graham Dwyer last start when angled to the pegs from the second line before utilising the passing lane to grab the silver behind RAANI. Breaking the maiden two starts back, she faces a class drop into this but will need a rub of the green from the alley.

STUDLEIGH ROWSY (9) was building towards an account opener and claimed the silver when best of the chasers behind the easy winner SLIDE TO UNLOCK. That form line was franked when firing out to take control last start and taking them all the way. An early move could be the play to challenge.

VODKA EN ICE (5) cashed in to claim his first victory last start when taking control in the early stages and fighting them off with an all the way win. The gate stings here but he can feature with even luck.

SUGGESTED BET:

RACE THREE

GUNNA NEDAMARGARITA (2)

MISS MAGDALENA (9) should take further benefit from her latest offering when second up from a spell. Resuming following a debut win back in August, she chased behind RINGOS A STAR when returning and last start retreated from gate 6 over the AP mile. Back to this grade looks ideal.

SHEZ NOTORIOUS (5) was searching for another 2YO victory to end the season but came up short when placing in her past 2 last week off a short two-day back-up. The gate hurts but she can feature.

AUNTY FRANCES (7) will require a slice of luck from this alley at some stage, but she has been in handy form with placings in 3 of her past 4 starts. Probing for openings she is in the mix.

started from gate 2 here when sent to the post as favourite and finishing over the top of them to claim victory by 3m. That was 3 starts back and was followed when a beaten favourite before his last start when 3rd to LETS BLAZE. Pressing through early, this is within reach.

WRITE TIME (7) was sent forward from gate 6 here last time out and pressing on to take control over the sprint trip was then looking to see it out. Fighting hard into the stretch, she was collared up the passing lane when 3rd to KOOKABURRAPRINCESS. A winner at 5 of 10 here, she will be probing.

JOHNROD (3) has not been too far away at his past 4 starts after claiming a Marburg win 5 runs back. Searching for space up the passing lane last start, he can look to settle prominently.

RACE FIVE

Finding the front prior to releasing here 2 starts back, she then made the closing shot a winner to score by 4m. Striking trouble last start, she just needs an even rub of the green to arrive.

UWATCHINGME (7) was buried away last start after angling to the inside and then using the passing lane was picking up late ground to grab the silver behind OLD ENGLISH. Trying to make a play wide out the start prior, she can be hemmed away ready to make a closing challenge once again.

LORD DENZEL (5) has been in consistent touch of late, hitting the board at his past 5 in succession, the latest from gate 6 when working home in nice fashion to be within 3m of the winner. He can chime in again.

Setting the speed and fading in a tougher battle at Bathurst last time out, he was buried in the run the start prior after easing at Newcastle. Taking control, he can cash-in.

PATCHWORK JET (8) started from inside the 2nd line last time out and was soon hemmed away in the run and needing space. He did not receive the smoothest passage but was close to the winner. Unable to see it out the start prior when setting the speed, he can look for the trail to swoop.

FREMARKSINDI (5) was fresh into her last start when finishing strongly down the outside to grab the silver behind WILD ABOUT TOWN. The gate dents her hopes here, but she can be chiming in.

DATSINAHURRI (7) was shooting for a hat-trick of wins here 2 starts back when making a costly error and throwing away any hope. Not coping last start when parked, the cosy trip will help here.

SUGGESTED BET: A GOOD IDEAL (3) to win

RACE SEVEN

LARA BAY (1) started from the pole over the AP mile 4 runs back and firing off the arm was looking for an all the way win. Leading them into the stretch, she was unable to see it out and missed a top-three. Wide gates have hurt in the 3 starts since, with the alley giving her challenging hopes in this.

CUPCAKESNWHIPCREAM (9) should appreciate a return to this grade after tackling stronger races at her past 2 starts. With even luck from this alley, she can build on her tidy record at this track.

OCEAN LANE (4) started from inside the 2nd line last start, she was using the passing lane when grabbing the silver behind DOOLITTTLE DOOZZIE. A five-time winner here, she is in the mix.

SUGGESTED BET: JAZIAH / LARA BAY (1/7) quinella/exacta

RACE EIGHT

Searching for a hat-trick of wins CALVERT HOT SHOT (1) comes up with the perfect alley. Taking them all the way at Marburg 2 starts back over the sprint trip, he zipped home a slick closing panel to put it out of reach. Powering home from the rear here last start, he gets the chance to dictate.

LITTLE ARROWS (7) has hit the target in recent outings, completing a threepeat last time from this same alley. Settled in the trail, she was able to dart through along the passing lane to claim the prize. With the similar trip looking available, she will be stalking the speed with a full quiver.

MOLLIESMARYELLE (8) was strong to the line last start in a tough mare’s qualifier when grabbing the silver behind SHE KOALA TEE. Only beaten 2m in that event, she will have early options here.

PIPPA MAGUIRE (6) cops another tough gate making it 13 of her past 14 starts having drawn gate 5 or wider. Closing out in nice order from gate 9 last time, she will be doing her best work late again.

Snagged back from gate 7 over the AP mile last time, the run was full of merit and with the ideal early trail here, gets his chance.

BETTATHANIDEAL (1) last tasted success here on The Triangle when locked in behind the speed from inside the 2nd line, making the closing shot a winning one. Chasing from the 1x1 trail here last start behind LA SAFRON, he looks set for the prefect trip in behind the speed and will be ready to strike.

KURAHAUPO GAMBLER (2) was wide off the track last start when trying to eat into the deficit but could not warm up when down the line. Not too far away the start prior from gate 6, he can take control and be gripping on.

LIFES BLACK (5) worked forward from this gate last start to take control over the 2040m and was leading them deep into the stretch when nailed up the lane by LA SAFRON. The gate stings but he can still feature.

SELECTIONS: GOTTAHAVEAHOBBIE (8), BETTATHANIDEAL (1), KURAHAUPO GAMBLER (2), LIFES BLACK (5)
SUGGESTED BET: GOTTAHAVEAHOBBIE (8) to win

RACE TEN

STUDLEIGH WILL (4)
was asked to roll the sleeves and do it the tough way when parked last start at Marburg when fading in the latter stages. Behind a tiring leader here 2 starts back, he angled off the poles at the 300m and was able to arrive for the prize. With early bullets, he can grab the prize.

JANG PEL (1) made a winning move at Marburg 3 starts back when finding the pocket trail and with the leader trying to kick clear, set him free to get into the space and arrive. Only beaten 7m at each of his past 2 starts, the latest from the 2nd line, he has the alley to throw down the challenge.

REGINA ELENA (8) had placed in 3 successive starts heading into her most recent assignment when striking trouble in the run. Pressing through to find position, she can find the podium once again.

ALWAYS AT NIGHT (2) was a winner here 4 starts back when grinding it out from the breeze and proving too tough. Just 5m away last start behind the trotter EYRE I GO, he can feature.

SELECTIONS: STUDLEIGH WILL (4), JANG PEL (1), REGINA ELENA (8), ALWAYS AT NIGHT (2)
SUGGESTED BET: STUDLEIGH WILL (4) to win
