RACE TWO

SNUGGLES BANYULA (5)
rolled forward to find position before being shuffled back when the field settled into order last start when finishing 5m in arrears of the winner VOODOO FELLA. Striking trouble the start prior that ended her chances, she might just have found the right opponents.

LARA BAY (1) started from this alley 3 runs back and tried to take them all the way when collared in the closing strides by MY CHINA DOLL. Placed over the AP mile at her next outing, the inside 2nd line scuttled her hopes last time. From the gate she gets the chance to dictate.

KEAYANG TARA (8) started from inside the 2nd line last start when buried before making some late ground to be not too far from the winner. With the right trip she can chime into the minors.

MY CHINA DOLL (2) sat in the 1x1 trail before finishing best here 3 starts back but nothing has gone in her favour at her past 2 starts. Settling handy can see her feature here.

SELECTIONS: SNUGGLES BANYULA (5), LARA BAY (1), KEAYANG TARA (8), MY CHINA DOLL (2)
SUGGESTED BET: SNUGGLES BANYULA (5) to win

RACE THREE

FRONTLINER (3)
will strip fitter from his latest outing when resuming from a spell. Starting from inside the 2nd line he struck trouble and did well to finish as close as he did under the circumstances. Close to KEAYANG MARVEN at his last run of last term, he can bounce back with vengeance.

RIVERLEIGH ROCKET (2) is fast off the arm when allowed to get forward and from this alley can look to fire up the afterburners early. Runner-up to GASMONKEY here 2 starts back when dropping in behind for the trail, he was caught looking for position last start. This looks within reach.

GASMONKEY (7) has been reinvigorated in recent times and line up with 3 wins and 4 minors in his past 9. The gate stings as he looks in danger of being buried but with wins at his past 2 starts cannot be ignored.

ELMS CREEK (4) has been in consistent form with placings at his past 4 in succession, the last 2 from the 2nd line when attempting to chase them down. He can look for another podium finish here.

SELECTIONS: FRONTLINER (3), RIVERLEIGH ROCKET (2), GASMONKEY (7), ELMS CREEK (4)
SUGGESTED BET: FRONTLINER (3) to win

RACE FOUR

Since October, THE RAGNBONE MAN (1) has raced here at Redcliffe on 14 occasions. From those 14 he placed 4th on 3 occasions and been top-3 the other 11 times. Losing momentum at a valuable stage last start when 3rd via the passing lane, he gets the chance to utilise his gate speed in this.

MACH TORQUE (8) pressed on to take control from gate 2 last start over the 2040m and once in control was able to see it out. A beaten favourite in successive starts prior when beaten the same margin on each occasion from the same gate, she strikes the right race to again challenge.

BOLD COWBOY (9) has to step up against some experienced campaigners here for just his 7th race start but should be able to trail into the contest with a place chance.

MONTEREY JACK (4) has placed at his past 3 here, the latest when grabbing the silver behind REGAL NIGHTSHADE, finishing 5m in arrears. He can look for another podium return here.

SELECTIONS: THE RAGNBONE MAN (1), MACH TORQUE (8), BOLD COWBOY (9), MONTEREY JACK (4)
SUGGESTED BET: THE RAGNBONE MAN (1) to win

RACE FIVE

HARRY CROFT (5) was asked to sit parked last start from gate 2 and was unable to see it out when wilting in the closing stages. In for the fight the start prior at The Creek when under 3m from the winner, he can get forward here and finds what looks the right conditions to strike.

TURN TURN FLYER (8) is never too far from the action, finishing in 4th last start after being sent forward to sit parked from gate 4. Placed his previous 3 in succession, he looks set to follow through to settle handy from the 2nd line and can look to make the challenge.

JET FORCE (9) has been without a win since August, but his last start was a tidy effort from gate 5 behind DATSINAHURRI. With the right trail early, he has place claims once again.

PRIVATE JUJON (3) is racing with zest and last start was able to graft out a determined win when parked, pulling clear to post a 5m margin. A lack of early speed hurts but he can still feature.

SELECTIONS: HARRY CROFT (5), TURN TURN FLYER (8), JET FORCE (9), PRIVATE JUJON (3)
SUGGESTED BET: HARRY CROFT (5) to win

RACE SIX

RAINBOW JET (5)
has faced the starter twice since resuming from a spell, with both runs coming at headquarters. Not making a move until the 300m last start, he was inconvenienced and lost momentum. Strong to the line from the rear the start prior, he can open his season here.

TACTFILLY MIRACLE (1) was angled to the poles from gate 8 last start and was soon buried in the run when positions were sorted. Charging home in the closing stages to get within a half-head of the winner, she comes up with the options off this gate to throw it down.

TORQUE IN CONTROL (7) will be sweating on the 1 looking for an all the way win and with that scenario can take a closing shot via the passing lane if maintaining momentum.

ALTANA BLUE (4) was sent out as the favourite last start over the sprint trip and was content to sit outside the leader when fading in the latter stages. Placed his previous 3, he has claims again.

SELECTIONS: RAINBOW JET (5), TACTFILLY MIRACLE (1), TORQUE IN CONTROL (7), ALTANA BLUE (4)
SUGGESTED BET: RAINBOW JET (5) to win

RACE SEVEN

MIKIYOURSOFINE (4)
has placed in 2 of his 4 outings here on The Triangle, the latest when grabbing the bronze behind MULLUM DOC. The form out of the race 2 starts back held true with 2nd, 3rd and 4th all moving one position closer last start and staying in front of the main dangers can see him open the account.

MERIBEL (9) was a tough watch for favourite backers last start when sent out deep into the sauce and nothing really went her way. Still managing to grab the silver despite the impediments, she has placed in 4 of 7 on this surface and will be throwing it down to them in this.

THE CROM (7) was under 6m from the winner KIMMIK last start which followed a 6m margin the start prior. With an economical trip, he will be probing.

HURRIKANE KING (5) will take great benefit from his last start where he was resuming from over 12 months off the scene. Closing out in nice order for the bronze, he can be in the mix once again.

SELECTIONS: MIKIYOURSOFINE (4), MERIBEL (9), THE CROM (7), HURRIKANE KING (5)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE EIGHT

DATSINAHURRI (4)
shoots for a hat-trick after wins over the AP mile and then here at the 1780m. Allowed the space to get off the poles from inside the 2nd line last start, she was then sent to the front and never in danger thereafter for the easiest of 10m victory’s. She can go again in this.

SHES ALL STAR (8) was sent forward from gate 5 here last week and after making an early play struck gear troubles that ended her night. Sent to the front from outside the front line the start prior, her record here is handy enough that she can make a play.

TULHURST LOVER (6) resumes from a freshen after her last appearance back in mid-December when a beaten favourite from gate 5. Accustomed to wide gates here at Redcliffe, she can chime in.

JAYDES TERROR (5) is first up in Qld for Chantal Turpin and arrives with a win 2 starts back at Mildura when charging home in the closing stages to score. She stays under watch.

SELECTIONS: DATSINAHURRI (4), SHES ALL STAR (8), TULHURST LOVER (6), JAYDES TERROR (5)
SUGGESTED BET: DATSINAHURRI (4) to win

RACE NINE

ABERCROMBIE TAB (3)
dead-heated for the win here 3 starts back and will get his chance to make it 3 outright wins in succession after claiming outright victory at his past 2. It could quite possibly be a picket fence of 4 wins after he was a tragedy beaten 4 runs back and from the good alley, he gets every chance to take this.

MISTER DECORUM (7) will be requiring a slice of luck at some stage from this alley as he looks in danger of being hemmed away. Wide off the track last start when just 2.5m from the winner, he will be searching for the gaps to make a play.

FAIREACHDAINN (4) overturned a long break out of the winner’s enclosure when taking them all the way here last start. Fitter from the outing following 3 runs back from a break, she can feature.

CIRCLE LINE (8) has no favours from the 2nd line but if able to press through to settle close enough, he is going well enough to be a factor.

SELECTIONS: ABERCROMBIE TAB (3), MISTER DECORUM (7), FAIREACHDAINN (4), CIRCLE LINE (8)
SUGGESTED BET: ABERCROMBIE TAB (3) to win

RACE TEN

A nice race tucked away at the back end of the card where SUNNY COVE (8) can look to build on his apparent talent. He set the tempo 2 back that saw IM PLAIN JANE pull clear for a huge win and franked it with a dominant 21m victory last start. He faces a task from the gate but looks up to it.

ROSES ARE SWEET (5) has a 50%-win strike rat from her 8 starts and last time set the speed from gate 3 over the AP mile when holding on for 3rd as MAGICAL MAYA claimed the prize. 3 of her 4 wins have been here at the Peninsula and with the benefit of the front line will prove hard to stop.

THE HARRIS HAWK (3) has had 2 runs since returning from a break and should appreciate this class of contest after not being suited against experienced types last time. He can fire some early bullets.

SENORA JUJON (9) started from inside the 2nd line last start when locked in behind the leader before making a passing lane play to be just a half-head away. She can be chiming in late.

SELECTIONS: SUNNY COVE (8), ROSES ARE SWEET (5), THE HARRIS HAWK (3), SENORA JUJON (9)
SUGGESTED BET: SUNNY COVE (8) to win
