RACE TWO

INDYS APPROVAL (10) has done plenty wrong in her past 3 starts and has been banished to the trials after each race outing. The latest followed her scratching at the barrier for making 2 false starts. Earning her race ticket with a pair of smart trials, if her manners come to the track, she can bounce back.

PEGGY STARDUST (3) speared out from the gate here on Wed and after copping some heat in the run, couldn’t see it out. That followed successive inside 2nd line draws where she wasn’t really suited and from this alley she can fire the 1st shot and be looking to hold on.

BAMBOLE NERE (8) was buried in the run and didn’t see space when needed last time out and the race was gone by the time the gap opened. A beaten fav the start prior, she can be thereabouts here.

LIGHTHORSE (1) is winless in 36 attempts here on the triangle and while that is unlikely to change, with the benefit of the good alley, he can get the right trip to make a play for the minors.

SELECTIONS: INDYS APPROVAL (10), PEGGY STARDUST (3), BAMBOLE NERE (8), LIGHTHORSE (1)
SUGGESTED BET: INDYS APPROVAL (10) to win

RACE THREE

BIG IN AMERICA (1) did her share of early work here last start and in a solid 1780m tempo set by HEZ RAZOR SHARP, she was unable to finish it off. Chasing home in good order from the 2nd line the start prior behind HEAVENS HURRICANE, she can look to capitalise from the good gate.

CONCENTRATION (6) has placed in both outings since joining the Donny Smith barn, the latest when chasing gamely wide off the track as LIFES BLACK was dealing in front. Setting a sharp tempo when leading here 2 starts back and only grabbed late, he can throw down the challenge here.

PROJECTILE (7) was snookered away on the pegs last start and when the gaps arrived, he chased in vain with the leaders skipping clear. From the gate he will get a great trip and be ready to strike late.

SHEZA GALVINATOR (9) looked to lead all the way here 2 starts back when 2nd up from a break and was only grabbed on the line. Put a line through her latest start, she can chime into the exotics here.

SELECTIONS: BIG IN AMERICA (1), CONCENTRATION (6), PROJECTILE (7), SHEZA GALVINATOR (9)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-6-7-9

RACE FOUR

ALWAYS IN COMMAND (5)
features in a stable switch to join the Donny Smith team and should appreciate this class of contest. Last start over the AP 2138m trip, he was leading them up at a solid clip and was only grabbed in the closing stages behind THE ANNOUNCER. This looks within reach.

STEVIE DEE (2) held the front from gate 1 here on Thurs when setting a smart tempo over the sprint trip. Gripping on in the stretch, she was only 2m from the passing lane winner. A beaten fav here 3 starts back from the pocket trail, she can go close in this.

LURAH (8) was angled to the pegs here 2 starts back from gate 10 looking for short-cuts and was hitting the line in good order when grabbing the bronze. 3rd again here on Thurs, she is in the mix.

THE IDEAL DANCER (7) is on the back-up from Fri night where he looked well-placed Looking to lead throughout here 2 starts back and grabbed in the closing strides, he will be probing for the gaps.

SELECTIONS: ALWAYS IN COMMAND (5), STEVIE DEE (2), LURAH (8), THE IDEAL DANCER (7)
SUGGESTED BET: ALWAYS IN COMMAND (5) to win

RACE FIVE

In a race that is wide open where luck and position will be vital, HOLDINGNO CURRENCY (10) is worth a throw at the stumps and can certainly bob up here. He wasn’t too far away last start behind the in-form COBBLER LANE and 2 starts back worked home well from gate 5. He can cash-in.

GOOD BOY OLIVER (8) was a winner on the grass at Kilcoy 2 starts back when able to capitalise in front. Down the line last start from this same gate, with the right early trail he can be looking to finish off late.

MOONLIGHT BUTCHER (2) finished mid-field last start after holding the pocket trail from gate 1. The start prior he didn’t have the cleanest shot at them and from this gate will be right in the fight.

GIVE ME FIFTY (4) took on a field no tougher than this on Wed night and chased well to be 7m from the winner. With a similar run he can fill the exotic numbers in this.

SELECTIONS: HOLDINGNO CURRENCY (10), GOOD BOY OLIVER (8), MOONLIGHT BUTCHER (2), GIVE ME FIFTY (4)
SUGGESTED BET: HOLDINGNO CURRENCY (10) to win

RACE SIX

MALIBU DREAM (5)
found conditions to suit on Thurs and was able to take control from gate 6 and score an easy 5m victory. 3 starts back over the AP sprint trip she went within a half-head of victory from a 2nd line gate and with this no harder than what she dealt with last start, she can repeat.

PAQUIN (7) was a Marburg winner 3 starts back when proving too strong from the breeze and has been forced to start from gate 9 in both runs since. Only 3m from the in-form COBBLER LANE last start after following the pegs, if she can see space here she can challenge.

OUR MASQUERADE (4) has placed in 2 of her past 5, including a passing lane 3rd here 3 starts back when sent to the post as fav. Not suited in the breeze here on Thurs, she can be thereabouts.

HALLY GUINEVERE (6) held on for the silver behind KOOKABURRAPRINCESS here 2 starts back and then on Thurs, wasn’t at her best. The wide gate hurts but with even luck she can chime in late.

SELECTIONS: MALIBU DREAM (5), PAQUIN (7), OUR MASQUERADE (4), HALLY GUINEVERE (6)
SUGGESTED BET: MALIBU DREAM (5) to win

RACE SEVEN

CALL ME TRISH (6) has been screaming out to win a race to break her maiden status and while she lands the six-hole, that looks an obstacle she can overcome. Charging home for the silver here 3 starts back, she nearly pinched it with a mid-race attack 2 starts back. She looks to get every chance.

CANNAN (4) started from the 2nd line last start and was wide off the track when trying to work into the contest. That was his 1st run sine changing stables and 2 starts back he struck trouble in the run. From the gate he can be in the mix here.

BEYONSKI (1) has only faced the starter on 4 occasions, with her latest outing her best return to date. Buried away on the pegs, she chased home well to grab the bronze when 7m away. From the gate she can be in the picture.

BUTCHERFEELGOOD (8) worked home in good order from this same gate to grab the silver 2 starts back. Stuck wide when looking for position and forced to snag back last start, he has place claims.

SELECTIONS: CALL ME TRISH (6), CANNAN (4), BEYONSKI (1), BUTCHERFEELGOOD (8)
SUGGESTED BET: CALL ME TRISH (6) to win

RACE EIGHT

LIFES BLACK (7)
is on the back-up from Thurs where he was sent straight to the front from gate 2 and once in control was never in danger when claiming an 8m victory. A slick winner over the mile 3 starts back, he will take on the tapes for the 1st time here but looks to have too much arsenal.

WEE JIMMY (6) is in nice touch, winning here 2 starts back when closing out strongly to arrive for the prize. Only a neck in arrears last time out, he might have been closer if the gaps arrived sooner. With handy figures from the tapes, he will be right in the thick of it in this line-up.

DONT CALL ME (1) has failed to hit the board in 3 previous attempts from the tapes, but from the front line he can look to get the jump. A strong winner here 2 starts back from gate 9, he won’t be far away.

BRONZE ECSTASY (2) settled in the pocket trail last start when 7m from the winner which followed a close 2nd when only a half-neck from the winner. With a safe start he can be in the mix.

SELECTIONS: LIFES BLACK (7), WEE JIMMY (6), DONT CALL ME (1), BRONZE ECSTASY (2)
SUGGESTED BET: LIFES BLACK (7) to win
