Trainer - Michael Costa

"He's a weird horse, he always gets back in the run spits the bit out, so we've had to try a few things with him."

"We tried to stretch him out up over 2000 metres and it didn't work out, I think his pet distance is probably between the 1600-1800 metre range."

"He hasn't handled wet tracks in the past, but he's obviously appreciated the drop back and won well today."

"There's the Tattersall's Mile in two weeks which could be a target now, but for now I'm just relieved to get him a Saturday win."

Jockey - Robbie Fradd

"he felt good throughout, I kept a short reign on him which I think he enjoyed and he never had a chance to spit the bit out."

"He was just waiting for the run and once we got out and saw daylight I had to scrub him up but he really lifted."

Trainer - Desleigh Forster

"No surprise at all to see her produce that run today, she was probably a little fresh last start at Eagle Farm, second up on a soft track and longer distance was far more suitable."

"I've always had a big opinion of her she's probably six months away, but anything she does now is a bonus."

"The impression she has given us is she has the potential to be an Oaks horse in twelve months time if everything goes to plan."

"Quality ride from Ronny (Ron Stewart) he had her travelling a long way out and she got through the going nicely."

Jockey - Ron Stewart

"Previously she's shown a little bit, though she's still very green and immature and looking for the mile."

"Today we had a cosy run and it took a while to balance up, but she closed off strongly and handled the ground no dramas."

"Matt (Smith) just said to me she was rock hard fit, just try to take him to the front and stack them up."

"We switched off really nicely mid-race at a pretty even tempo, when they started to make their runs around the 600 I just stoked him up and he responded immediately."

"Very impressive to show a turn of foot from the front on a slow track, looks like a quality stayer."

Trainer - John Meagher

"I have to admit I wasn't overly confident with how far he got back in the run, but his barrier trial the other day was really impressive and he brought that same late surge."

"He's a well performed horse over his career, it's just been a bit stop start for him recently and a while between wins, this should do him the world of good."

"Divine Dice was as honest as ever I had to have me eyes on him at the front and Handsome Thief at the back during the run, great result for the stable."

Jockey - Jeff Lloyd

"I knew Whypeoo and Divine Dice would be going at eachother up front, so despite getting back I knew we were going to get one last crack at them."

"He's a but of a worrier this horse, he got very worked up behind the barriers and was a little off the bridle early, but still managed to win the race."

Trainer - Steven O'Dea

"She's been running so consistently this preparation without breaking through and it was nice to drop her back in grade today and draw a nice gate."

"She jumped beautifully and the two horses that lead had to do a bit of work to get there and we were just sitting on their heals at the top of the straight."

"Ron (Stewart) just eased her into the clear and she accelerated nicely, she'll go home tonight and be ready to go again next week."

Jockey - Ron Stewart

"We flew the gates and I didn't want to lead them, so it worked out nicely when a couple of them pressed on."

"I knew in the run we had them covered it was just if anything was going to get us from behind, but she lapped up the conditions today and got a well deserved win."

"It was a really nice ride by Tegan the first six hundred was in 36.7, which even in this going is walking."

"He was entitled to get around the corner and quicken up and that's just what he did."

"Rapt to get a double for Waratah Thoroughbreds, they are great supporters of us and it's good to give them a bit of a reward."

Jockey - Tegan Harrison

"We've been waiting for a while to put those blinkers on and finally pulled the trigger today and gee it did the trick."

"He didn't hit any flat spots like he normally does, when I asked him to quicken he responded."

Trainer - Darren Evans

"I didn't think anything of the drift in the market, I ride her at trackwork and knew she'd been travelling really well, but it still took a hell of a run to win today."

"She'll only get better over further, but to get my first win with my first horse in town is incredible."

"It's my first runner as a trainer since falling a couple of times, my shoulder was shot so I thought i'd give training a crack and what a start."

Jockey - Corey Bayliss

"I ended up getting back further than I wanted to be, but apart from that it was perfect we didn't have to go around one horse and she picked up when I asked her to."

"She handled the wet fantastic and I'm couldn't be happier for Darren giving him his first winner and appreciate the ride."

RACE 8 - 4.02PM BOTTLE-O CLASS 6 HANDICAP (1110M)

1st - Crafty Cop - Anderson & Heathcote - Robbie Fradd

2nd - Stellar Power - Bryan Dais - Luke Tarrant

3rd - Ditmas - Mel Eggleston - Matthew McGillivray

DSC9731-1.JPG

Trainer - Chris Anderson

"The horse began enormously and Robbie just rated him up in front, got left alone kicked late and was too good for them."

"This is only the third start we've had this horse coming from Sydney and to get a win on the board second up this prep is a real confidence booster for all involved."

"He's not the cleanest windest horse in the stable there's only one way to ride him and that's as a high speed front running horse and Robbie Fradd did a super job of giving him every chance."

Jockey - Robbie Fradd

"Chris told me he was a roll forward horse and the more time he spends in front the better he'll travel and he responded when asked the question."

"It's a big effort from the horse carrying sixty kilos on this track, I think Rob and Chris have him headed in the right direction."
