RACE TWO

ROCKNROLL CLASSIC (1) is racing in great touch but just has not been able to secure the rewards for his effort. Forced to grind away outside the leader last start, he was in for the fight when holding on for the silver behind PELOSI. Dead-game the start prior over the 2138m, he can hustle early to make start 50 a memorable one.

LIFES A JUNGLE (8) took the trail from gate 1 last start in a qualifier when using the passing lane to hold on for 2nd behind the smart winner MOHS EM DOWN. In the trail 3 starts back when placing behind ROLL WITH LACHLAN, he looks set for the cosy trip once again and will be probing for gaps.

UNCLE JORD (4) takes his 1st look at The Creek for Chris Frisby, arriving with a handy record to his name. Not too far behind in the Western Championship 2 starts back, he can feature 1st up here.

THE MONEY BALL (3) was just too far back last start from a 2nd line gate when all the power was up front. Claiming a qualifier 3 starts back and the hitting the line nicely 2 starts back, he has claims.

SELECTIONS: LIFES A JUNGLE (8), UNCLE JORD (4), ROCKNROLL CLASSIC (1), THE MONEY BALL (3)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-3-4-8

RACE THREE

ANOTHER STATEMENT (2) grabbed 3rd in the Triad Final 3 starts back behind the star colt GOVERNOR JUJON and then at his next start struck trouble early when squeezed up approaching the 1st turn. Finding the right conditions last start, he had too much closing power and can repeat in this.

BLACKSADANCE (10) has been freshened since his last appearance when making an early error from the 2nd line and then doing a power of work, holding on gamely behind GOVERNOR JUJON. With a sharp trial to open the pipes, he can challenge 1st up despite landing a tough gate.

MAN FROM BRAAVOS (8) went to the line searching for gaps that never arrived over the 2138m here 2 starts back, hitting dead-ends all the way. Buried in the run last start over the middle-distance, he was too far back to issue a challenge. With a slice of luck, he can be ready to strike.

HUNTAWAY (1) was back to winning form last start when pouncing on the poles from gate 4 and then keeping the speed on throughout to claim a big 18m victory. From gate 1 he is right in the fight.

SELECTIONS: ANOTHER STATEMENT (2), BLACKSADANCE (10), MAN FROM BRAAVOS (8), HUNTAWAY (1),
SUGGESTED BET: ANOTHER STATEMENT (2) to win

RACE FOUR

INDEFENSIBLE (1)
takes on the older trotters again here after racing his own age bracket at his past 2 starts. Stepping cleanly before taking a trail over this trip 3 starts back, he had too many bullets to fire when arriving up the passing lane to score. Only a half-head away last start, he can arrive.

JANSSON (10) started from the 20m tape last start when safely away to find a nice spot in transit. Looming up in the stretch, he was nabbed right on the line by the swooping THE REAPER with that following a tough run when not far from the winner AVEROSS DON. He can challenge in this line-up.

SOH TWISTED (3) began in her brilliant manner last start to set the tempo over this trip before being wore down in the stretch. Runner-up her previous 2 starts, she will give them something to chase.

CRAZY BEN (7) was 2nd up in Qld here last start when making a costly error in finishing down the line. Doing it tough from the breeze here 2 starts back, with improved manners he can be thereabouts.

SELECTIONS: INDEFENSIBLE (1), JANSSON (10), SOH TWISTED (3), CRAZY BEN (7)
SUGGESTED BET: INDEFENSIBLE (1) to win

RACE FIVE

The claiming races re-join the racing programme where OUR BONDI BEACH (1) will make his 1st outing under the format. Down the line last start behind FEELINGFORAMIRACLE, he used the passing lane here 2 starts back when only 2m in arrears of MARK OF INTEGRITY. From the gate he can take this.

FEEL THE REIGN (6) was forced to race tough last start when facing the breeze and was in for the fight when not too far away behind the swooping winner PSYCHEDELIC. Chasing home the start prior from a 2nd line gate, he has the tough alley again here, but with even luck can challenge in this grade.

CHANGE OF MIND (9) was locked away from inside the 2nd line last start and wasn’t too far from the winner CHANTREY when the gaps opened. He should relish this grade and can make an impact.

ONE WISE MAN (8) used the passing lane to grab the silver over the Redcliffe sprint trip 2 starts back and then last start was just too far back after retreating from a wide gate. He will be probing.

SELECTIONS: OUR BONDI BEACH (1), FEEL THE REIGN (6), CHANGE OF MIND (9), ONE WISE MAN (8)
SUGGESTED BET: OUR BONDI BEACH (1) to win

RACE SIX

SPIKE ROBYN (4) was 2nd up in Qld last start when obliged to work in the run and fighting hard to hold on for the bronze. In for the fight when taking on a qualifier at his 1st run in Qld, it was a sound effort when not too far from the winner at Redcliffe. Fitter again from the latest effort, he can strike.

HANDSOME HERO (8) eased back from gate 4 to find position last start over the 2138m. With the race developing into a sprint home, his closing sections were strong as he attacked the line behind the winner DATTITUDE. With an economical trip from this gate, he will be ready to strike.

GOTTA MOMENT (10) started from this gate last start and from back in the pack was facing a task as the tempo was in favour of those at the front. Not far away behind PELOSI the start prior, look for him late.

THE BIG CHEESE (2) hasn’t had much luck since arriving in Qld, beaten by the gates at his past 2. That followed a tidy 3rd in slick time behind AT WEST POINT. With a good alley he can feature in this.

SELECTIONS: SPIKE ROBYN (4), HANDSOME HERO (8), GOTTA MOMENT (10), THE BIG CHEESE (2)
SUGGESTED BET: SPIKE ROBYN (4) to win

RACE SEVEN

BLACK HAWK JOE (7) has the wide gate to negotiate, yet he could not have been more impressive at his 1st look at The Creek last week. Sent to the front over this trip, it was a power running display as he cruised home to a 23m victory in a slick 55.1 last half. The rise to the 2138m is a query at his 1st attempt at the trip, yet he can look to flex his muscle.

SQUATTER SHANNON (3) makes his Qld debut for Ryan Veivers, arriving a last start Newcastle winner. Sent forward from gate 6 in that event, he was able to take control and hold on for the victory over the 2030m trip. A tough winner over the mile 3 starts back, he stays under notice.

SNOOP STRODE (11) was hitting the line in nice order her on Tues when chasing home behind the smart filly A RAINBOW DELIGHT. In the money at his previous 3 starts, the extra trip will suit his claims.

REMEMBER ME NOW (2) resumes from a spell after things didn’t really go to plan last campaign. With 3 trials in readiness for the return, he lands the right gate to feature fresh.

SELECTIONS: BLACK HAWK JOE (7), SQUATTER SHANNON (3), SNOOP STRODE (11), REMEMBER ME NOW (2)
SUGGESTED BET: BLACK HAWK JOE (7) to win

RACE EIGHT

ROLL WITH ROCKY (5) will be further tightened from his latest outing when 3rd up from a spell. Returning for the bronze as WILL THE WIZARD carved out a slick mile, he was probing for gaps 2nd up after being locked away. Catching the eye last start behind ALBION ARK, he looks ready to strike.

LEFT A HURRIKANE (2) rolled forward to set up outside the leader and winner ALBION ARK last start, fighting hard to hold on for 3rd. Grabbed in the closing strides here 2 starts back when setting the tempo, it followed a close 2nd when making a dive up the passing lane. He will be gripping on.

ALBION ARK (9) is better suited when rolling along in front and found those conditions last start when taking control early and leading throughout. With the right trail, he can chime in here.

CHANCELESS CENTURY (10) pressed forward from gate 5 to take control last start and once in front was able to stave off the challengers. With a cart into the contest he can feature here.

SELECTIONS: ROLL WITH ROCKY (5), LEFT A HURRIKANE (2), ALBION ARK (9), CHANCELESS CENTURY (10)
SUGGESTED BET: ROLL WITH ROCKY (5) to win

RACE NINE

ITS SUPER EASY (4) will strip fitter from his latest appearance after 2 runs back from a spell. From inside the 2nd line last start, he was off the inside early before hitting the line in nice order to be 1m from the winner. 2m from the winner SIGNOR JUJON when resuming, he looks to get his chance.

SIGNOR JUJON (5) found the right conditions here 2 starts back when pressing forward to take control over the mile. Dictating terms, he had enough on the line to score a smart win. Not suited last start as all the power was on up front, he can look to capitalise from this gate here.

ARMA AUGUSTUS (1) steps out in Qld for the 1st time and from the gate will get a cosy run in transit. Mid-field last start at Dubbo, he was only 3m from the winner 2 starts back at Bathurst and he can find the podium in this.

WHERES TASCOTT (6) was a Redcliffe winner 3 starts back when arriving in the closing strides to take a narrow victory. Easing from gate 5 last start, he hit the line in good order and can be chiming in.

SELECTIONS: ITS SUPER EASY (4), SIGNOR JUJON (5), ARMA AUGUSTUS (1), WHERES TASCOTT (6)
SUGGESTED BET: ITS SUPER EASY (4) to win
