Following a QRIC Stewards track inspection, the non-Tab Cup race meeting scheduled for the Clermont RC on Saturday 3 July has been ABANDONED due to weather/state of the track.
Clermont’s Pepperina Park racetrack has received in excess of 20mm of rainfall over the past 24 hours and with concerns specifically around the 600m area, Stewards determined the track is unsuitable for racing.
RQ will liaise with the race club regarding options to stage a replacement race meeting.
However on Saturday, the race club will stage a phantom “betting” meeting with full facilities available.
