RACE TWO

The main players look drawn wide and off the 2nd line here and the last start winner PAGEANTRY (8) might just have found the conditions to go back-to-back. Stepping out on the grass last start at Kilcoy, he had the closing power to arrive and tracking through here can look to go again.

ELLE JAY (5) fired off the arm to take control from this same alley 3 runs back and held on to claim victory by a head. Fading the start prior as THEMIDNIGHTRAMBLER powered home, she was beaten by the inside 2nd line last time. Taking an early shot here can see her make a challenge.

ILLBEWATCHING (6) was lining up for a threepeat last time out when landing inside the 2nd line. Buried in the run, he did not spot the openings when required. Despite the gate, he is in the fight.

CALCULATED RISK (9) eased from gate 5 last time and was wide off the track when hitting the line strongly in the latter stages to grab the bronze. The gate stings but she can be tracking home.

SELECTIONS: PAGEANTRY (8), ELLE JAY (5), ILLBEWATCHING (6), CALCULATED RISK (9)
SUGGESTED BET: PAGEANTRY (8) to win

RACE THREE

GO AWAY (8)
found the right conditions last start when pressing forward in the early stages to get outside the leader from the 2nd line. Doing the work, she proved too strong and pulled clear to claim a 6m victory. 5m from CHARM OFFENSIVE the start prior, she can look for the repeat victory here.

ESTARDAY (1) found the 1x1 trail last time out and was trying to launch a closing volley when within 5m of the winner VANISH HANOVER. The gate helps her chances here with the options that become available for her to throw down her challenge.

CHARM OFFENSIVE (5) has hit the board in 4 of her 5 career starts, including a pair of victories. Finishing over the top of them from the 2nd line last start to arrive, limiting the early burn to maintain position will be key here.

STREET WRITER (4) has only faced the starter on 4 occasions, 2 of those here at The Triangle. A winner 1st up here 2 runs back when closing out hard to arrive, he was not suited when sitting parked last start.

SELECTIONS: GO AWAY (8), ESTARDAY (1), CHARM OFFENSIVE (5), STREET WRITER (4)
SUGGESTED BET: GO AWAY (8) to win

RACE FOUR

MULLUM BOY (4)
was a winner on debut when finishing best in claiming a tidy victory. Stepping right up at his next 2 through the 3YO Redcliffe Sales Series, he made the Final but found them far too sharp at this stage. Back to this level of contest, he can bounce back.

LEFTMEATTHEBAR (9) closed out in nice order to grab the bronze here 3 starts back over the 2040m and backed that up with a maiden breaking win when hitting the line in smart order over the closing stages. Runner-up to GO AWAY last start, he can be making a closing challenge in this.

SAILOR GIRL (5) has hit the board in 3 of her 4 career starts including a last start victory at Junee back in January. Not seen since that win, she may just need a run or two to tighten.

JUKEBOX JET (3) was beaten by a wide gate last start when retreating early to secure position from the wide gate. The start prior he met a handy field and with the good alley here can play the right tune.

SELECTIONS: MULLUM BOY (4), LEFTMEATTHEBAR (9), SAILOR GIRL (5), JUKEBOX JET (3)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE FIVE

The talented two-year-old MISTY CREEK (2) will tackle the older horses here as he ticks over towards the Triad Final to be held on the Final night of The Constellations. Holding on for the bronze last start behind DANGERZONE, it followed a tough 3rd from gate 6 here 2 starts back. He can show his class.

BARBOO (1) pressed forward from gate 5 last time out and was asked to hang tough in the death seat over the 1780m. In for the fight, he was still giving to the line when within 3m of the winner in holding on for 2nd. Placed in 3 of his past 4 starts, he looks to get the run to make a play here.

AROONA (7) sailed home in the closing stages to arrive for the prize here 2 starts back over this trip. Eased to secure position last start, he will be probing for openings from this gate to offer.

MISTER DECORUM (4) was runner-up last start when taken to Kilcoy to race on the grass. He might need to do his share of work in this from the gate and place chances look appropriate.

SELECTIONS: MISTY CREEK (2), BARBOO (1), AROONA (7), MISTER DECORUM (4)
SUGGESTED BET: MISTY CREEK (2) to win

RACE SIX

His numerical form might not show much, however that does not convey the picture that coincides with the COURAGEOUS SAM (5) story. Retreating from gate 6 last start to secure position, he was strong in the latter stages. That followed a pleasing run to the eye when chasing as SUBTLE ADVICE arrived. With the smallest rub of the green, he can arrive here.

MISS LILY MAY (1) found the pocket trail last start over the AP mile when trying to make a closing play up the passing lane. Beaten by a 2nd line gate at Marburg the start prior, all 4 of her wins have been here at Redcliffe, however she has yet to fire a shot over this trip. The gate gives her the chance to amend that.

GROOVY MISS ANNIE (7) has been hitting some good areas in recent outings with a top-3 at her past 5 in succession. Starting fav last start from the 2nd line when 3m from the winner, she will be searching for space here.

GWENDALION (9) shoots for the hat-trick after successive wins here over the 1780m trip. Finishing over the top of them from gate 6 last start, with the right position from this gate she can feature.

SELECTIONS: COURAGEOUS SAM (5), MISS LILY MAY (1), GROOVY MISS ANNIE (7), GWENDALION (9)
SUGGESTED BET: COURAGEOUS SAM (5) to win

RACE SEVEN

GET READY TO ROCK (4)
is yet to land a race win here in Qld but is moving closer to breaking the hoodoo after placings at her past 3 in succession. Finding the front here last time out, she was worried out of it to be a half-neck from the winner. Beaten a half-neck her past 2 and a nose hair 3 back, she can take this.

LETS BLAZE (6) has 2 wins in his past 3 starts, all here at the Peninsula and over this trip. Pressing forward to sit parked last start, he proved too strong in pulling clear to a 6m win. He returns to the Jonah Hutchinson barn and can look to make a play despite the tough gate.

MAJOR MISCHIEF (9) is a 3YO stepping out for the Donny Smith stable for the first time, resuming from a spell. A last start winner back in April when leading throughout, the gate stings here against more experienced rivals, but he stays under notice.

ALLY ROGAN (8) will be 3rd up from a spell after return runs at Goulburn and Canberra. Locked away last start after easing from a wide gate, she can press through here to feature.

SELECTIONS: GET READY TO ROCK (4), LETS BLAZE (6), MAJOR MISCHIEF (9), ALLY ROGAN (8)
SUGGESTED BET: GET READY TO ROCK (4) to win

RACE EIGHT

JOANNIES GIRL (1)
was sent to the post as fav last time out from the 2nd line when trying to make a closing play, finishing 2.5m from the winner FEELS LIKA WINNER. Forced to work too hard the start prior, she comes up with the right gate to look for a breakthrough victory.

SAINT KILDA BEACH (7) was a winner here 5 runs back when sent forward from gate 4 to take control. In the 4 runs since that victory, she has been taken to The Creek ad tackled Band 5 events, the latest when easing from gate 5 over the 2138m. If the gaps arrive here, she can challenge.

JUST JOSHIN (2) has been without a win for some time, but that is not a reflection of his effort, returning some nice runs in recent outings. Runner-up to PETES SAID SO 2 runs back, he is in the mix.

FEELS LIKA WINNER (3) settled in the running line over the 1780m trip here last start and saved until late in the contes, had the bullets to hit the target. Settling handy can see her feature again here.

SELECTIONS: JOANNIES GIRL (1), SAINT KILDA BEACH (7), JUST JOSHIN (2), FEELS LIKA WINNER (3)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-2-3-7

RACE NINE

HAVING THE FAITH (5) started from the 2nd line last start in a much stronger qualifier when working home for a midfield finish behind the boom horse SPIRIT OF ST LOUIS. Not too far away in a blanket finish the start prior, 3 starts back he was a gritty winner here and can make a play once more.

SPEED DIAL (1) was a winner over the 1780m here 3 starts back when finishing best to claim victory by a head. Striking a hot mares race last start when trailing them in, she will appreciate a return to The Triangle from this gate and should get the right trip to challenge.

SO BOBS YOUR UNCLE (3) started from inside the 2nd line last time out and despite being pegged away found the space to charge home and arrive for the prize. Griding it out the start prior, he can feature here.

OUR LITTLE DIGGER (6) keeps ticking over the placings and has hit the board in 8 of his past 10 attempts. With no favours from the carpark but if the tempo suits, he can be joining in late.

SELECTIONS: HAVING THE FAITH (5), SPEED DIAL (1), SO BOBS YOUR UNCLE (3), OUR LITTLE DIGGER (6)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE TEN

KATACHA MAN (3)
did some early work until receiving cover last start but could not finish it off as SPIRIT OF ST LOUIS put the power on in a smart closing 800m. Buried in the run the start prior, a return to Redcliffe looks ideal and from this gate he can look to take advantage.

BARKWAY ARNOLD (2) tried to take them all the wasy from gate 1 over the 2040m last start and was able to walk them through the first 2 panels. Dialling it up, he could not repel the closing challenge of KING OF TRUMPS. From the gate he will be there to throw it down once again.

MAFFIOSO GIRL (1) tackled a mare’s qualifier last start from the ace and releasing the speed could not go with them late when down the line behind SCARLET BABE. The gate is a big help here.

CALA JANE (6) is a member of the Dennis Picker yard and arrives with a last start 3rd when working home in nice order over the closing stages at Goulburn. The gate stings, but she can still feature.

SELECTIONS: KATACHA MAN (3), BARKWAY ARNOLD (2), MAFFIOSO GIRL (1), CALA JANE (6)
SUGGESTED BET: KATACHA MAN (3) to win
