RACE TWO

Keen to forgive and forget that last start failure of GOTTAHAVEAHOBBIE (9), he was flying prior and can turn the table here. Another member of the Dwyer stable, the WELL SAID gelding did some nice work late to prove too good racing away here back in June and there has been some nice placings since.

JILLIBY JACKPOT (3) got caught in the breeze here last week when fancied in betting and beaten 4.7m behind the in form SAND BLASTER, if he can get across the inside two this week he will be in front for a long way and give cheek.

SWEET AS (5) has been a consistent pacer right throughout her career and she has been flying in recent weeks for Mark Dux. A win wouldn't shock.

MACHIN OUT (7) won at $126 here two starts ago and was entitled to be those odds as the form prior was handy. Likely to get a nice run along the pegs and can sneak into a place.

SELECTIONS: GOTTAHAVEAHOBBIE (9), JILLIBY JACKPOT (3), SWEET AS (5), MACHIN OUT (7)

SUGGESTED BET: GOTTAHAVEAHOBBIE (9) each way

RACE THREE

SNOOP STRIDE (5) has a fifty percent runs-to-win strike here at Redcliffe and was a commanding winner here last week last week after sitting outside the speed and scoring by nearly fifteen metres in a 1.58 mile rate over the 2040 metre trip. He drops back to the shorter 1780 metre journey here which he has won over before and should be on speed again to prove too good.

LANOCH BOY (6) is flying of late for trainer Mitchell Dawson. His most recent victory was here, full of merit and if he can obtain a nice sit he'll be in the exacta.

HES SWEET (9) is drawn on the second line here once again as per his latest performance when runner up to the smart BRIAN CHRISTOPHER. Needs luck from this gate but can figure.

IMA BEACH BABE (7) was able to lead and win here last start. Has a second row draw to contend with but can place with any luck.

SELECTIONS: SNOOP STRIDE (5), LANOCH BOY (6), HES SWEET (9), IMA BEACH BABE (7)

SUGGESTED BET: SNOOP STRIDE (3) to win

RACE FOUR

DEAL BREAKER (2) looks to make it a double for the visiting Monica Betts stable, as this in another pacer of the Betts team with a 50% record here. Keen to forget last start when struck bother in the score up. The son of Million Dollar Cam put the hat-trick of victories on the board the start prior and is drawn to lead and win this.

PATCHWORK JET (1) runs an honest race every time around here for Charlie Chiang, superbly drawn oand will gain a great trip at the back of the speed to get every chance.

ESTARDAY (5) is a nice sit sprint type for Dan Russell dispalying some really nice form in recent starts to make light work of this trailing draw again.

FAIREACHDAINN (7) goes into this race fresh up from a break with some handy efforts the other side of the spell around here. Drawn on the fence to place.

SELECTIONS: DEAL BREAKER (2), PATCHWORK JET (1), ESTARDAY (5), FAIREACHDAINN (7)

SUGGESTED BET: DEAL BREAKER (2) to win

RACE FIVE

BRIAN CHRISTOPHER (5) has aced them twice from three starts on Australian soil for smart conditioner Alistair Barnes. He displayed some nice hate speed here recently but is draw wider in this assignment, however he should be respected enough to roll forward, find the front and prove too good.

THEMIDNIGHTRAMBLER (8) is another with some really nice form here at Redlciffe recently with eight wins from ten starts and two other placings on this track. He has the second line draw here in this but will be going forward at some stage aiming to out-stay rivals again.

MOONLIGHT BUTCHER (1) is drawn to have a nice trail in this assignment from the one alley and is going well enough to place again behind a couple of handy ones.

LIFEINHEAVEN (7) will be following the fence where he likes to be drawn and will follow the same formula as the horse she has drawn the back of.

SELECTIONS: BRIAN CHRISTOPHER (5), THEMIDNIGHTRAMBLER (8), MOONLIGHT BUTCHER (1), LIFEINHEAVEN (7)

SUGGESTED BET: BRIAN CHRISTOPHER (5) to win, saver on quinella with THEMIDNIGHTRAMBLER (8)

RACE SIX

MISTER DECORUM (8) is aiming up for three wins on the trot after scoring here this trip most recent two. The only query here is the second line draw but if he can find a prominent position he should be able to put pay to these.

YANKEE DANCER (5) had all excuses here last time around and has since trialled well. The Rickie Alchin prepared NSW raider will find this assingment easier than the Goulburn, Newcastle and Penrith starts recently in which she has found placings.

BARBOO (1) is another ever consistent pacer for Charlie Chiang, superbly drawn and will be rolling forward at the start.

BEEF CITY STARZZZ (3) did a power of work before gaining a trail to go down narrowly behind LOOKS JUST RIGHT here last week, has a similar draw here and will be rolling forward at the start.

SELECTIONS: MISTER DECORUM (8), YANKEE DANCER (5), BARBOO (1), BEEF CITY STARZZZ (3)

SUGGESTED BET: MISTER DECORUM (8) each way

RACE SEVEN

OUR ACTION MAN (3) is having his first look at “The Triangle” for NSW trainer Rickie Alchin. The three Queensland starts, all at Albion Park, have been fair placings after the win on 1.55 at Menangle. Maps to be on the speed here in this and looks the one to toss.

MAJOR MISCHIEF (1) is a former Victorian pacer now under the care of the astute Donny Smith locally. Whilst he hasn't won from the three starts here just yet he has been plagued with bad draws and comes up with the one alley here. A repeat of his most recent Victorian start will see him roll forward, lead and win.

BONDI SHAKE (8) is drawn here on the back row but got through late to go down narrowly as the runner up. From the in-form stable.

PEPPA BLISS (5) is another Victorian import which has some nice provincial form. Now with Grant Dixon and is a likely improver on the most recent start.

SELECTIONS: OUR ACTION MAN (3), MAJOR MISCHIEF (1), BONDI SHAKE (8), PEPPA BLISS (5)

SUGGESTED BET: OUR ACTION MAN (3) and MAJOR MISCHIEF (1) quinella

RACE EIGHT

ILLBEWATCHING (5) can do some work in his races like he did to place behind ABBEY DIADEMA last start. If he can get across cheaply he doesn't have to improve too much on recent efforts to figure here. His most recent victory was here over this journey last month in a slow time but in similar circumstances.

ELLE JAY (3) went down behind WHAT REACTOR two back here then led them up when collared late into fourth behind COBBITY CASTLE. On speed runner.

NAUGHTYINHEAVEN (2) should have enough speed to find the fence and take a sit to get an economical trip here. GHOST GUM only got to her late when runner up here last week, include.

HARRY CROFT (7) likely to get back along the fence but if he finds luck this Rob Gorman prepared pacer can finish it off.

SELECTIONS: ILLBEWATCHING (5), ELLE JAY (3), NAUGHTYINHEAVEN (2), HARRY CROFT (7)

SUGGESTED BET: 2-3-5-7 exotics

RACE NINE

COBBITY CASTLE (6) looks a really nice bet here despite the top of the track draw. Unbeaten here from two starts she can either go forward mid stages to obtain a position or wait for one last crack. A versatile daughter of ACES N SEVENS she should be proving her trainer Monica Betts with the third leg of a treble.

TICK OF THE CLOCK (3) is much better than the performance last start when he weakened; as per the two placings at AP and Marburg prior. If he can bounce back he'll be a good place chance from this alley for Peter Jones.

WHATA REACTOR (8) looked really nice when scoring here two back before doing some work mid stages and placing here last time around.

STAR OF WONDER (1) will get every chance to place from this alley.

SELECTIONS: COBBITY CASTLE (6), TICK OF THE CLOCK (3), WHATA REACTOR (8), STAR OF WONDER (1)

SUGGESTED BET: COBBITY CASTLE (6) to win

Slide9.JPG

RACE TEN

SIR HASZEM (5) is a twenty three start maiden but has placed seven including the latest three starts, all here.

QUICK CLASSIC (7) put an improved effort in when third here last start, if he repeats that he can figure.

ASHTON RIVER (8) was driven tough last time out when fourth.

MASTER CHARLES (1) has a nice draw and from an astute yard.

SELECTIONS: SIR HASZEM (5), QUICK CLASSIC (7), ASHTON RIVER (8), MASTER CHARLES (1)

SUGGESTED BET: SIR HASZEM (5) to win but go easy
