RACE TWO

MISS MAIA (6) comes as a risk after having made errors in both her starts since arriving in Qld. 1st up she had no right to win after making an error on the home turn but somehow was able to reset and run them down. She lost a stack of ground 2nd up but still grabbed 3rd. If she does everything right, its hard to see her being beaten.

SHEGOTSASS (1) has struck trouble at both her past 2 starts, the latest when starting from the 20m tape where she was hampered and went off stride. Back to equal terms under the conditions here, if she can step cleanly and stay out of trouble, she can throw down the challenge.

INDEFENSIBLE (3) returns to Qld after winning once and placing twice in his 3 outings here at The Creek as a 2YO. Runner-up last start at Terang, he is in the mix, as is AURORA (5) who won on Friday and has won 2 of her 4 career starts. There may only be 6 runners, however there are plenty of factors at play in this contest/

SELECTIONS: MISS MAIA (6), SHEGOTSASS (1), INDEFENSIBLE (3)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE THREE

DOCTA FEELGOOD (4)
was sent to the post as fav here last week from the 2nd line. Settling back in the pack, he was still a little green when finishing 9m from the winner. Runner-up on debut behind MANILA PLAYBOY, he was beaten by the barrier in the Breeders Consolation. This looks his chance to open the account.

ROYAL PRINCESS (8) has placed in all 3 career starts to date, the latest when holding on for the bronze after easing across early from gate 5 to find position. Closing nicely from the 2nd line to get within a half-neck of the winner when 2nd up, she has early options from the gate and can chime in.

CHAMONIX (7) made an error in the Breeders Consolation last start when they were released and then was facing a task as the tempo suited those up front. Despite the gate, he can feature.

DATSINAHURRI (1) started from gate 10 on debut here last week when sent to the pegs for the short-cuts and some luck. With the experience and the improved gate, she can be thereabouts.

SELECTIONS: DOCTA FEELGOOD (4), ROYAL PRINCESS (8), CHAMONIX (7), DATSINAHURRI (1)
SUGGESTED BET: DOCTA FEELGOOD (4) to win

RACE FOUR

HEARTBREAK (8)
has been runner-up at her past 2 starts, heading to The Creek after all 3 career starts have been at Redcliffe. Eased back from gate 5 last start, she was closing nicely behind the big winner AWHOLELOTOFPRETTY. Only 5m away when 2nd up, with the early options she gets a chance.

JOY TO ALL (4) settled in the pocket trail from inside the 2nd line at her race debut when grabbing 3rd when 8m in arrears of the winner. Taking benefit from her 1st race appearance, she makes her 1st trip away from her home track at Redcliffe and from the front line can look to challenge.

LEFTMEATTHEBAR (2) has shown good speed off the arm at both career starts, the latest when releasing the speed and finishing beyond mid-field behind COURAGEOUS SAM. He is in the mix.

MONTANA MYSTIQUE (1) will take added experience from her latest start when down the line behind COURAGEOUS SAM. Starting from inside the 2nd line at each career starts, the improved gate is a big plus.

SELECTIONS: HEARTBREAK (8), JOY TO ALL (4), LEFTMEATTHEBAR (2), MONTANA MYSTIQUE (1)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE FIVE

A very tricky trot over the 2138m here where HAVANA MAGIC (3) is racing well enough to look to extend her form in this. Finishing over the top from the 10m here 2 start back, she was game in defeat last start when facing the breeze from the 2nd line under mobile conditions. From the front tape, she can take this.

MUSCULUS (5) did his share of early work last start until cover arrived over this trip when starting from the mobile. A narrow 2nd via the passing lane here 2 starts back behind the subsequent winner NORTHERN MUSCLE, if he can show his usual manners, he can look to make the challenge here.

IM THE COMMANDO (2) made an early error last start and then after working in the run, faded out and was banished to the trials as a result. Earning the return ticket, he is best suited when rolling in front and if he can get forward, he will give some cheek.

JUSTABITLIKEMUM (6) has placed at her past 2 starts, the latest when grabbed in the closing stages after setting the tempo over the mobile 2138m trip. Safe from the tapes, she will be in the fight.

SELECTIONS: HAVANA MAGIC (3), MUSCULUS (5), IM THE COMMANDO (2), JUSTABITLIKEMUM (6)
SUGGESTED BET: HAVANA MAGIC (3) to win

RACE SIX

SOHO TSUNAMI (2) has faced the starter on just 6 occasions, recording 2 wins and 1 minor placing. Stepping out in Qld for the 1st tome for Cristina Monte, the 3YO arrives with a last start 3rd placing at Ballarat off the 2nd line when only 2m in arrears of the winner. From the gate, he can start his Qld career in style.

SHADYS DELIGHT (1) was beaten by a wide gate and the class of the field when down the line behind GOVERNOR JUJON in the 3YO Triad Final here 2 starts back. Tackling a more suitable assignment last time over the 2138m, he was closing strongly to grab the bronze when 5m from the winner. The gate is a big plus.

LEFT A HURRIKANE (10) has won 2 of his past 3 starts, the latest when finding the front from gate 3 over the mile and taking them all the way. The gate stings here, but with the right tempo can be attacking late.

CUT FROM ROCK (8) was looming up strongly here 2 starts back after starting from the 2nd line when finishing 2nd behind the passing lane winner LANCELOT BROMAC. Forget her last start, she will be probing for the openings.

SELECTIONS: SOHO TSUNAMI (2), SHADYS DELIGHT (1), LEFT A HURRIKANE (10), CUT FROM ROCK (8)
SUGGESTED BET: SOHO TSUNAMI (2) to win

RACE SEVEN

THE CRUISE MISSILE (3) is best served when rolling in front and last start found it tough when trying to chase when starting from gate 9. Eased back early the start prior as they settled into single file, he was attacking the line hard for the bronze behind STREET APPEAL. Taking them all the way 3 starts back, he can look to fight them off.

JIGGLE AND JIVE (9) was jammed with gate 11 in the Fillies Triad Final when sent to the breeze in the early stages. Grinding away she was in for the fight when holding on for the bronze when 7m in arrears of the winner FOND MEMORIES. Further tightened after 2 runs back from a spell, she can throw down a big challenge.

B MAC C (7) doesn’t have any favours from this gate, yet he has been racing well since returning from a freshen. Runner-up at his past 2 starts behind the smart STREET APPEAL, he can look to chime in here.

ROCKNROLL CLASSIC (8) will be requiring some luck form this gate as he looks set to be buried in the run. In for the fight from outside the leader last start when 3m in arrears, he will be probing for gaps.

SELECTIONS: THE CRUISE MISSILE (3), JIGGLE AND JIVE (9), B MAC C (7), ROCKNROLL CLASSIC (8)
SUGGESTED BET: THE CRUISE MISSILE (3) to win

RACE EIGHT

FEARLESS FAITH (6) took on the Fillies Triad Final last start from gate 10. Finding the running line back in the pack, she was finding the line in good order to be 8m from the winner FOND MEMORIES. Working across to find he front from this gate 2 starts back, she had too many bullets to fire in claiming a 3m victory. The gate stings, but this is within her grasp.

THE HUMMER (9) looked to be in all sorts of bother last start from inside the 2nd line, however was able to angle into the running line. With some early heat, it set up nicely for the swoopers and he was able to finish over the top for a smart win in taking his record to 4 wins in 8 starts. With the right trip, he can repeat the dose.

CHANCELESS CENTURY (3) was obliged to do it the tough way last start over the mile when starting as fav. Fading in the closing stages to finish mid-field, he can fire the 1st shot here and will be in the mix.

JILLIBY JACKPOT (4) eased from gate 6 over the mile here 2 starts back when closing strongly to land a smart win. Too far back when easing from gate 7 last start, he can settle closer from the improved gate and has podium claims.

SELECTIONS: FEARLESS FAITH (6), THE HUMMER (9), CHANCELESS CENTURY (3), JILLIBY JACKPOT (4)
SUGGESTED BET: FEARLESS FAITH (6) to win

RACE NINE

OUTLAW FELLA (4) moved to the breeze last start from gate 6 over the mile when rolling the sleeves and digging in for the fight, finishing a head from the winner MARK OF INTEGRITY. Setting the tempo, the start prior over the 2138m, he looked gone, but came back to be 4m away and will be right in the fight here.

OUR LITTLE DIGGER (2) will be further tightened from his latest outing when 2nd up from a long break. Eased from gate 5 to find position, he hit the line in good order when 9m from the dictating winner BIG BANG LEONARD. With even luck in transit he can look to offer in the stretch.

JUSTA DALE (1) showed good early speed last start to claim the pocket trail over the mile, holding on for the bronze behind TIMELESS APPEAL. Beaten by the gate the start prior, he can get the right trip to feature.

LEXUS ON THE BEACH (5) was sent to the breeze from the 2nd line last start over the 2138m and was in for the fight, only fading in the closing stages behind EL GRAN SENOR. He can grind in out

SELECTIONS: OUTLAW FELLA (4), OUR LITTLE DIGGER (2), JUSTA DALE (1), LEXUS ON THE BEACH (5)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-2-4-5

RACE TEN

MONTANA CHIEF (1) was eased to find running line position here on Saturday night from gate 3 and soon found himself back in the field over the 2138m trip. Running some smart sectionals, he chased valiantly behind SPEECH IS SILVER. Closing strongly 2 starts back when 3rd to subsequent winner SPRING CAMPAIGN, he can make the closing shot a winner.

NEWMERELLA SHARKIE (5) was snagged back from gate 7 last start when sent to the pegs looking for luck and short-cuts. A long way back, he made good late ground in strong sectionals. 3rd to the rising star SPEECH IS SILVER 2 starts back, he can look to ask the questions here.

BEAU CISHLOM (4) eased forward and did his share of early work prior to receiving cover when down the line behind EL GRAN SENOR. Catching the eye 2 starts back, he is in the mix in this line-up.

BLADE (8) started from this gate last week at his 1st outing for the Butler stable and was soon buried out of business. Settling a little closer this time, he can be looking to make a late challenge.

SELECTIONS: MONTANA CHIEF (1), NEWMERELLA SHARKIE (5), BEAU CISHLOM (4), BLADE (8)
SUGGESTED BET: MONTANA CHIEF (1) to win
