RACE ONE

MISTERY ROAD (2) will traverse The Triangle for the first time and comes up with a handy gate for his first attempt. A beaten fav last start when making good ground in the closing stages over the AP 2138m trip to be 3m in arrears. Appreciating a return to the sprint trip, he gets his chance to score.

IM JIMMY JAMES (3) has a smart record on this deck where he has hit the board in 6 of his 7 outings, which includes a pair of wins. Buried in the run last start when tackling a strong qualifier, he was chasing behind the gun 3YO DANGERZONE two starts back and can throw down a challenge.

NO DOUBT (8) was sent to the front last start over the AP 2138m to lead for the first time in his past 32 Qld starts. Grabbed in the last stride, he will be back to chasing here but can make a play.

BRIAN CHRISTOPHER (5) has no favours from the wider gate but was hitting the line strongly here last time out when starting from gate 6 and finishing 3m away. Despite the gate he can chime in.

SELECTIONS: MISTERY ROAD (2), IM JIMMY JAMES (3), NO DOUBT (8), BRIAN CHRISTOPHER (5)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE TWO

GOLDEN SAND (5) was set a task here two starts back when circling the field in the early stages from the second line and applying the heat early but wilted. Enormous here last start when running a 56.4 opening half from gate 6, he continued to give and claim a 7m margin. He can put it to them again.

BEEF CITY BLAZE (1) is at his best when saved for a passing lane play, a position where he claimed victory in successive attempts prior to his most recent appearance. Not suited in the running line last time out, he will be hoping to see the lane with some momentum to issue some form of challenge.

MY ULTIMATE BONDI (2) completed a hat-trick of victories last time out when proving too strong wide off the track, overcoming gate 5 to arrive in the last stride. He steps up here but is in the mix.

VOODOO FELLA (4) held the pocket trail last start from inside the second line and was trying to make a closing play when holding 3rd behind MISSTREPO. With a strong tempo, he is a place hope.

SELECTIONS: GOLDEN SAND (5), BEEF CITY BLAZE (1), MY ULTIMATE BONDI (2), VOODOO FELLA (4)
SUGGESTED BET: GOLDEN SAND (5) to win

RACE THREE

ALTANA BLUE (1)
was a big winner four runs back when sitting parked and fighting on despite being attacked throughout the run and repelled from the leading duties. Just 7m away last start when midfield form the second line, the improved gate is a huge asset, and he gets every chance.

BETTOR ROMANCE (7) was runner-up over the AP mile two starts back in sharp time when best of the chasing pack behind the clear out winner GOLDEN SAND. Setting the speed last start at the 2040m trip, she could not see it out when finishing 10m away. Locked away, she will be probing.

ONYA DOUG (2) eased from gate 5 last time out and was back in the pack when trying to make a closing raid but could only manage a midfield return. Settling closer from the improved gate helps.

HOT ROD HEAVEN (9) is looking to overturn an 18-month win drought, his latest effort when trying to make late metres and finishing 9m from ETERNAL GOLD. With the right cart home he can feature.

SELECTIONS: ALTANA BLUE (1), BETTOR ROMANCE (7), ONYA DOUG (2), HOT ROD HEAVEN (9)
SUGGESTED BET: ALTANA BLUE (1) to win

RACE FOUR

OUR AUNTY ASH (1)
was sent forward from gate 4 over the AP 2138m trip last start and taking control was looking to take them all the way when collared in the closing stages to finish 2m adrift of the passing lane winner PARTY POLOTIX. From the improved gate, she has all the options.

CHARLI ROSE (7) has hit the board in 4 of her 5 career starts, the only miss coming at her last start when making an early error. Shut down after that outing, she resumes here off the back of a sound trial and from the gate will be stalking the speed and searching for openings.

NESTERS HILL (2) was soon hemmed away from gate 2 over the sprint trip last time out and could only manage a midfield finish with GOLDEN SAND putting the power on. He has claims.

MISTERRIODEJANEIRO (8) eased from gate 6 last time out before closing out strongly from back in the pack to be within 4m of the winner. Trailing through early, he can make a closing play.

SELECTIONS: OUR AUNTY ASH (1), CHARLI ROSE (7), NESTERS HILL (2), MISTERRIODEJANEIRO (8)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-2-7-8

RACE FIVE

JOHNROD (2) has been in a rich vein of form, his latest victory extending his streak to four successive wins. Sent around them from the second line last time out, he took control and grafted out the win. From the improved gate he can force the issue and look to grind it out once again.

ROSES ARE SWEET (7) should take further benefit from her latest outing where she was second-up from a break. With early hustle from gate 5, she found the poles but had no answer for TEDDY DISCO who claimed an emphatic victory. Likely to be buried, she will be searching for gaps to challenge.

BUKTHSYSTEM (1) lands all the options from this gate and can be burrowing through early to hold a spot. Doing some early work before cover arrived and then taking victory two runs back, he can feature.

LUXURY LAD (5) has worked his way into some form and will line up here in search of a winning hat-trick after successive wins on this deck. Too strong in the closing stages last start, he can chime in.

SELECTIONS: JOHNROD (2), ROSES ARE SWEET (7), BUKTHSYSTEM (1), LUXURY LAD (5)
SUGGESTED BET: JOHNROD (2) to win

RACE SIX

REGAL NIGHTSHADE (5)
has the tricky gate to negotiate but strikes a race where a few are looking to regather some better form. Resuming from a let up two starts back when stung by a second line alley, he found the passing lane from gate 6 last start when trying to join in. He can arrive in a wide-open contest.

SHEREACTS (9) gets back to The Triangle after campaigning at headquarters in recent times, the latest when asked to do it the tough way outside the leader before fading in the closing stages. Just 5m in arrears the start prior, she finds conditions to issue a challenge here.

MOONLIGHT BUTCHER (7) was runner-up two starts back when making a closing rally behind BUKTHSYSTEM but ultimately could not bridge the deficit. With a cosy trip, he will be probing.

CALL ME TRISH (3) burrowed through from gate 1 last start and looked to take them all the way but was unable to see it out, wilting over the latter stages. Settling thereabouts, she has some claims.

SELECTIONS: REGAL NIGHTSHADE (5), SHEREACTS (9), MOONLIGHT BUTCHER (7), CALL ME TRISH (3)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE SEVEN

REMEMBER EVE (1)
should appreciate a return to The Triangle where she is a perfect 3 for 3 and comes up with the gate to chase the quartet. Beaten for early hustle off gate 1 at The Creek last start, she was a winner here four runs back and gets every chance to bounce back.

CHASIN DREAMZ (7) has put together a string of consistent efforts and lines up here on a run of 11 successive top-three returns which includes four wins. Pressing on to take control last start, she was able to see it out with a 3m to spare. Stalking the speed, she can throw it down once again.

SUNDOWNER SHANNON (3) was snagged back from gate 5 last time before trying to make a closing raid and grabbing 4th behind the blow out winner DARGOS PET. The improved gate is a big plus.

SONNY ORLANDO (8) has been kept fresh since his last appearance when asked to grind it out when parked and despite the tough trip was just an eyelash short of victory. With the right trip he can feature.

SELECTIONS: REMEMBER EVE (1), CHASIN DREAMZ (7), SUNDOWNER SHANNON (3), SONNY ORLANDO (8)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-3-7-8

RACE EIGHT

JOEY LINCOLN (4) eased from this gate over this trip last time out and in the washup was at the rear of the pack. With even panels in front, he tracked into the race strongly and swept by to claim a 5m margin. The tempo looks right for a repeat of that performance.

TEACHERS PET (9) has been the model of consistency, not missing the money since March with seven wins and five minors in the stretch. Grabbed in the last strides last week when setting the tempo from gate 1 and beaten a half-head, she can make a closing challenge here.

FORGIVE ME (1) was used early here three starts back to find the front from gate 4 in a solid first quarter. Trying to fight them off, she could only hang on for a 5m 3rd. The inside gate is a big plus.

CHEDDAR MADE BETA (5) has been consistent in recent outings and lines up here with three successive minors. Strong to the line in the latter stages last time when 2nd, he can join in late.

SELECTIONS: JOEY LINCOLN (4), TEACHERS PET (9), FORGIVE ME (1), CHEDDAR MADE BETA (5)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE NINE

EMMALEEN (9)
is moving ever closer to breaking the maiden status, having been the runner-up in three successive outings. Striking trouble last start, she reset and chased hard, darting along the passing lane to be just 4m away. Beaten a nostril two starts back, this looks within her grasp.

PRIDE AND LOUD (4) should appreciate a return to maiden company after tackling more seasoned campaigners last start when eased to the poles, but still able to finish off in sound order. That was her first run back from a spell and tightened from that effort, can throw it down to them here.

THE WHISTLER (1) returns from a break with seven weeks since her last appearance when striking some early trouble. 3rd after following the poles here two starts back, the inside gate is a plus.

TONYS SECRET (7) struck trouble last start that made her task tougher and saw her trail them home. Off the second line at her past three in succession, she will be searching for openings again.

SELECTIONS: EMMALEEN (9), PRIDE AND LOUD (4), THE WHISTLER (1), TONYS SECRET (7)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE TEN

FIVE STAR GEM (2)
has faced a second line gate at each of his past two starts, the latest when back in the pack and unable to get warm over the closing stages when meeting older opponents. Back to 2YO company from this gate, he can look to capitalise in a wide-open maiden event.

JUSTUNDERTHELIMIT (8) is a filly by Art Major on debut for the States leading trainer Jack Butler that has trialled here at Redcliffe in preparation for her first race start. That trial was a sound hit out behind older performers and with further improvement, can be a challenger first up.

BETTORS MOON (1) arrives for visiting NSW trainer David Druitt, arriving with six outings in the Riverina where she has been down the line on each occasion. The improved gate will aid her cause.

ENGLISH DANCE (5) is yet to hit the board in six appearances, the latest when buried away and chasing as CARTER GRANT took the prize. Overpowered in front here two runs back, he can chime in.

SELECTIONS: FIVE STAR GEM (2), JUSTUNDERTHELIMIT (8), BETTORS MOON (1), ENGLISH DANCE (5)
SUGGESTED BET: FIVE STAR GEM (2) to win
