RACE ONE

DARBY BRIGHTS (7) was asked to grind it out first over last start at the AP mile when finishing in the second half of the pack behind JET FORCE. Striking trouble at her last appearance on this deck, she can follow through early and finds the right opponents to cash-in.

LIVING FREE (2) started from the second line last time out over the Redcliffe sprint trip and was not too far from the winner when 8m in arrears. Collared in the closing stages when setting the speed here three runs back, he can get to the front in the early stages and be looking to see it out.

IMA CALVERT ROSE (4) returns from a spell after her last appearance back in Feb when tackling a trotters contest over the AP 2138m trip. A mobile winner two starts back, she tackles the pacers.

CLARES FOOL (3) has had his runs well spaced, with his past four appearances coming in a five-month period. Buried in the run last start, he can be closer to the action to fill a minor here.

SELECTIONS: DARBY BRIGHTS (7), LIVING FREE (2), IMA CALVERT ROSE (4), CLARES FOOL (3)
SUGGESTED BET: DARBY BRIGHTS (7) to win

RACE TWO

GHOST GUM (2) fired ff the arm from gate 3 at Redcliffe last start and setting the speed was trying to see it out. With an even tempo in front, he was collared in the stretch and in a blanket go was only 3m from the winner. Beaten a similar margin into 2nd two runs back, he can fight them off.

LEFT IN THE WIND (8) has the second line to overcome but should appreciate this level of opponent. Sent to sit parked last start but fading over the latter stages behind DINOSAURUS REX, she never saw the gaps when needed the start prior. With the right trail, she can be making a challenge in this.

BEEF CITY STARZZZ (3) was locked away three back against the poles last time out over the Redcliffe sprint trip. Making a closing raid to be just a neck from the winner, he can be chiming in here.

LORD DENZEL (4) tackled the Showcase B Final last start from the tapes at Redcliffe and was making good metres in the closing stages for 2nd. Still a maiden on this deck after 14 attempts, he has claims.

SELECTIONS: GHOST GUM (2), LEFT IN THE WIND (8), BEEF CITY STARZZZ (3), LORD DENZEL (4)
SUGGESTED BET: GHOST GUM (2) to win

RACE THREE

NIKALONG HENRY (7)
has not been overly inspiring since resuming from a spell and in his five outings has been chasing on each occasion. He strikes a wide-open contest here and with the right trail through in the early stages, can be in a position to strike.

RISKY BUZINESS (9) is a three-time winner here on the Little M, his last appearance on this deck coming four runs back when beaten deep into the red. Not suited last start from the tapes, a return to the mobile is in his favour and despite the tough gate can look to make a challenge.

DEVELSTIX (2) take his first look at this track in search of a drought breaking victory. Grabbing 3rd two runs back, albeit over 20m from the winner, he can be close enough to feature in this.

MAN OF ACTION (8) pressed on to take up the running last start in the standing start Showcase B Final and was fighting hard when finishing in 4th position. The second line stings, but he can place.

SELECTIONS: NIKALONG HENRY (7), RISKY BUZINESS (9), DEVELSTIX (2), MAN OF ACTION (8)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE FOUR

JACOBS THUNDER (1)
started from inside the second line last time out and with the perfect trail had the closing speed to power over the top of them. Just 3m from the winner two runs back, he can burrow through and taking control will be hard to stop.

FOR NO REASON (3) has had 3 attempts on this deck and is yet to land a return but comes into this with minors in 3 of her past 5 starts. Closing out for the bronze behind WHERES TASCOTT over the AP mile two runs back, she can be close enough to the action to issue a challenge.

CIRCLE LINE (5) will need to negotiate the outside paint but has been returning some handy performances in recent times. Not far away last start, he was a Redcliffe winner four runs back and can finish in the money here.

ALWAYS AT NIGHT (7) will appreciate a return to the grade after finishing down the line in the Showcase A Final behind ARTFUL MAID. Hemmed away two starts back, he can be chiming in here.

SELECTIONS: JACOBS THUNDER (1), FOR NO REASON (3), CIRCLE LINE (5), ALWAYS AT NIGHT (7)
SUGGESTED BET: JACOBS THUNDER (1) to win

RACE FIVE

SIR BULSKI (4) was a winner at the Trot Rods scamper two starts back when resuming from a spell and backed it up with an 8m margin on the Final night of the 947m format. Fresh since that last appearance, he can look to overcome the gate and take his record to 4 from 8 on this deck.

JEWEL OF PEAK (3) has a nice record at this track and has the early speed to call on in looking to get in a forward position. Taking control last start from gate 1 over the Redcliffe sprint trip, she led everywhere bar where she needed to when a half-head in arrears. She can throw it down again.

ROLAMAX (7) has finished 3rd at his past two starts, the most recent when asked to grind it out first over and finishing just a head from the winner. He will need to work around them again to feature.

HES SWEET (9) will be having his first look at this track off the back of handy effort at the AP mile behind NOR WESTA after easing back from gate 7. Just 3m from MUMMYS BOY two runs back, he has claims.

SELECTIONS: SIR BULSKI (4), JEWEL OF PEAK (3), ROLAMAX (7), HES SWEET (9)
SUGGESTED BET: SIR BULSKI (4) to win

RACE SIX

MISS MIA (2)
made an error last start that ended her chances after seemingly jumping something on the track. Fading the start prior after doing it tough when asked to race first over, she is a three-time winner on this track and comes up with the gate to capitalise.

MAFFIOSO GIRL (6) settled in the 1x1 trail last time out at the 1780m, but had no power left to make a stretch challenge. Buried in the run in a much tougher AP battle two runs back, her record here is smart with four wins and from this gate will be searching for open road to make a challenge.

WESTERN SHOWGIRL (8) started from inside the second line last time out at Redcliffe and was trying to pick up some closing metre when grabbing the bronze, 4m in arrears. With the right trip she can feature.

ARTS PERREGRINE (1) is closing in on two years since his last victory and is still without a win here after 27 attempts. Fresh since his last outing when down the line, the gate can help him chime in.

SELECTIONS: MISS MIA (2), MAFFIOSO GIRL (6), WESTERN SHOWGIRL (8), ARTS PERREGRINE (1)
SUGGESTED BET: MISS MIA (2) to win

RACE SEVEN

TACTFILLY MIRACLE (1)
was asked to do some early work two runs back at the Redcliffe 1780m trip but could not finish it off. Midfield last start but just 4m from the winner after looking to take them all the way, she has the gate to cash-in and from the front will be fighting them off.

DEVOUGED (6) will be making his Marburg debut and will be facing a second line gate for the third successive outing. Runner-up two starts back when trying to make a closing raid and coming up 4m short behind ROCKNROLL DA GAMA, he will be hemmed away here and searching for open road.

HANDSOME HARRY (9) resumes from a spell and lines up for Lacey Hinze for the first time. Last seen back in February when midfield at Redcliffe, he trialled soundly and has podium claims.

GO JO JOLT (2) found the pocket trail last start and making a closing challenge was just a neck in arrears of the winner. Only 2m from MONTEREY JACK two starts back, she can feature from this alley.

SELECTIONS: TACTFILLY MIRACLE (1), DEVOUGED (6), HANDSOME HARRY (9), GO JO JOLT (2)
SUGGESTED BET: TACTFILLY MIRACLE (1) to win

RACE EIGHT

MAJORDOIT (8) should appreciate his opportunities here after bumping into some stronger opponents in recent times. Chasing from back in the pack behind EL AGUILA last start, his run two starts back was a sound effort when 2m from the winner BELLA BALL TERROR. The tempo looks strong for him to close out.

MISTY CREEK (4) will need to step up here against the older horses from the tough gate, but if he can position cheaply and limit the workload, he will right in the fight. Using the passing lane last start when beaten a half-neck, he can look to issue a challenge.

TEARAWAY DIAMOND (1) was hemmed away from the second line last start and made some nice closing metres when chasing home EL AGUILA. With the speed to burrow through, he can be gripping on.

SOLE AMBITION (9) was up in the air when the field was released from the tapes last start and his chances were left on the starting line. That was his first run back in Qld and a return to the mobile is a plus.

SELECTIONS: MAJORDOIT (8), MISTY CREEK (4), TEARAWAY DIAMOND (1), SOLE AMBITION (9)
SUGGESTED BET: MAJORDOIT (8) to win

RACE NINE

HIGH ON MONTANA (1)
will need to burrow through to protect the poles but if he can keep the challengers wide into the first turn, will take some stopping over this trip. Sent to sit parked last start from the second line at Redcliffe, he was game in grinding out a 2m deficit and can look to control this.

PEBBLE SANDS (4) eased from gate 5 over the Redcliffe 1780m trip last time out and was picking some nice metres in the latter stages when 6m from the winner. Runner-up three runs back to THERESACHANCE, he lands a tricky gate bit with the right trip can ask some questions.

SAILALONG SINBAD (6) powered home over the top of them at Redcliffe to claim a tidy win two runs back and followed that with a 3rd to BEEF CITY BLAZE. Tucked away, he will be searching for gaps.

AQUA CRUISER (2) has early hustle and can look to be close enough to the action to feature. Runner-up two runs back at this track when asked to race tough first over, he can be thereabouts.

SELECTIONS: HIGH ON MONTANA (1), PEBBLE SANDS (4), SAILALONG SINBAD (6), AQUA CRUISER (2)
SUGGESTED BET: HIGH ON MONTANA (1) to win
