RACE TWO

JEDDY R YA READY (7) started from the 20m tape last time out and after being safely away closed out strongly in some tidy closing fractions to claim a narrow victory. He will have to do it from 10m further back this time, yet if he can step cleanly, he can look to add another victory to his tally.

PATSDELIGHT (2) resumes from a spell and was last see when grabbed in the closing stages as a red figure fav back in September. Sent to the trials on 3 occasions to prepare for her return, the latest of those was a solid hit-out and with good manner from the tapes she can find a good position.

MELPARK MAGIC (3) made his Qld debut a winning one from the stand here 2 starts back when stepping to the front and never headed. 2nd under mobile conditions last start he will be in the mix.

MISTER OZ (5) was locked away on the pegs from his inside 2nd line gate last start from the mobile and sticking to the inside kept making ground to grab the bronze. He can be running on late again.

SELECTIONS: JEDDY R YA READY (7), PATSDELIGHT (2), MELPARK MAGIC (3), MISTER OZ (5)
SUGGESTED BET: JEDDY R YA READY (7) to win

RACE THREE

LEFT A HURRUKANE (1) looks to have found the conditions to suit after finishing 3rd at his 1st 3 outings and then forced to work in the Changeover Classic with the hard run seeing him wilt in the closing stages. Showing good early speed, he can look to take control here an open his account.

SIR JUJON (8) made his debut at Redcliffe from gate 1 where he was crossed early and then was green in the run but ran home nicely for 3rd. He should take a great deal of experience from that run and if able to follow through in the early stages will find himself in a great position to challenge.

KYRONTA (6) started in red figures at his 1st outing and was forced to do the hard work in the breeze when circling them early from the 2nd line. In for the fight he was only beaten a head and can feature.

LOVELAINE (2) settled in the pocket trail last start and using the passing lane was able to get within 2m of the winner JIGGLE AND JIVE. Showing good improvement at each outing she is in the mix.

SELECTIONS: LEFT A HURRUKANE (1), SIR JUJON (8), KYRONTA (6), LOVELAINE (2)
SUGGESTED BET: LEFT A HURRUKANE (1) to win

RACE FOUR

EMPIRE BAY (5)
started from the front line 2 starts back and safely away was soon facing the breeze and from there was working hard when fighting on for 2nd with QUIETLY SPOKEN taking the win. On Sat night he settled in the running line and was sound to the line. With this an easier contest he gets his chance.

REDRIVERDEBBA (2) is normally safe from the tapes and can look to fire away early to settle in a forward position. She worked home well against the higher-class trotters last start and her run from the breeze 2 starts back under mobile conditions was a tough effort. She can capitalise here.

HELLBOUND (4) made a mess of the start on Sat night and comes at a risk from the tapes. 2 starts back he made the most of the mobile conditions to lead throughout. If he can get away cleanly, he is in the mix.

SELECTIONS: EMPIRE BAY (5), REDRIVERDEBBA (2), HELLBOUND (4)
SUGGESTED BET: EMPIRE BAY (5) to win

RACE FIVE

HEAVY HITTER (1) made the perfect start to his career when able to claim victory at the 1st 2YO event for the season at Redcliffe. Safely and smartly away from the mobile he found the front from gate 5 and was able to lead throughout. With that experience and the good alley, he looks hard to stop.

MIRABAI (2) is a Roll With Joe filly on debut for Cristina Monte. Out of the 3-win mare Our Neenah, she ranks as a half-sister to 3 winners including the in-form MARETTI. She did everything right in a recent trial and with a good alley can look to throw down the challenge.

SHADYS DELIGHT (3) started from gate 7 on debut and retreated early to find position. Closing out strongly in the latter stages he hit the line in good style and with an improved gate stays under notice.

ROCKS OR DIAMONDS (4) makes his debut for Brian McCall and is by top sire Rock N Roll Heaven and is the 1st foal out of More Diamonds. He did everything right in a recent trial.

SELECTIONS: HEAVY HITTER (1), MIRABAI (2), SHADYS DELIGHT (3), ROCKS OR DIAMONDS (4)
SUGGESTED BET: HEAVY HITTER (1) to win

RACE SIX

OUTLAW FELLA (6)
was a winner here 2 starts back when rolling forward to the breeze over the 2138m trip and after some early tempo proved too strong. He stepped up to Sat night company at his next outing when again forced to breeze and faded in a slick 1.53.1 mile. Back to this grade he looks to have the edge.

IDEAL WARRIOR (4) chased home hard to get within a neck of OUTLAW FELLA at his Qld debut and then struck trouble at his next outing. Snagging back from gate 7 at his only other appearance he was finding the line in good order. He can land a handy position from this gate to throw down the challenge.

FIOKI (8) was hitting the line strongly wide off the track to grab the win at Redcliffe 3 starts back over the 2040m trip. He took on a strong race last start and with a cosy trip will be looking to weave a passage.

LEXUS ON THE BEACH (9) has been in the money at his past 2 starts with the latest when leading them up over the mile. He can look to press through early and can chime in late to place.

SELECTIONS: OUTLAW FELLA (6), IDEAL WARRIOR (4), FIOKI (9), LEXUS ON THE BEACH (9)
SUGGESTED BET: OUTLAW FELLA (6) to win

RACE SEVEN

COOL SCOOTER (2) looked impressive at his Aus debut 2 starts back when he sat in the breeze and was strong to the line, only to share the spoils in a dead-heat for the top prize. He chased home well from gate 6 last start over the mile and with the good gate he can look to make his presence felt.

IM NORMA JEAN (1) is in great form and landed a career best win rate last start in a power running display to rate 1.52.8 in front over the mile. 3 starts back she claimed the Tamworth Golden Gee-tar when proving too strong in a classy closing 800m. With the speed to lead the 2138m is the nagging query.

LANCELOT BROMAC (8) was forced to retreat from gate 7 last start and once he was back in the pack and looking for luck, it didn’t arrive. A winner here 3 back from the pegs, he will be in the stalking spot and ready to strike.

SPRING CAMPAIGN (10) has been in the money at 3 of 4 starts since resuming from a break and although landing a tough gate can be working into this. He found the line strongly last time behind PACIFIC DRUMS and can’t be ignored.

SELECTIONS:  COOL SCOOTER (2), IM NORMA JEAN (1), LANCELOT BROMAC (8), SPRING CAMPAIGN (10)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-2-8-10

RACE EIGHT

PINUP BOY (5)
is in superb touch at present highlighted by his win 2 starts back when running them along out in front to destroy them with a 21m margin and rating a career peak 1.52.9 mile. Locked away on the pegs last start he was charging late to get within 3m of IM NORMA JEAN and can close out the day with this.

ROYAL LINCOLN (8) will be needing plenty of luck from this alley but if he is able to sight space with track to play with he will be a late force He took them all the way last start for a comfortable win with some slick closing panels. That followed a strong of bad gates and he just needs a rub of the green.

JUST DEAL IT (11) landed her 3rd career win from just her 7th start last time out over the 2138m trip when able to dictate out in front. Showing good improvement at every outing she will be in the mix.

IMA BIRUBI BOY (1) makes his Qld debut for Cristine Monte and arrives a last start winner at Newcastle where he hit the line strongly in the latter stages. From the gate he can chime into the money

SELECTIONS: PINUP BOY (5), ROYAL LINCOLN (8), JUST DEAL IT (11), IMA BIRUBI BOY (1)
SUGGESTED BET: PINUP BOY (5) to win
