RACE TWO

GREG THE GREAT (3) was game in the McNeil final when forced to roll the sleeves outside the leader over the 2647m. In for the fight he held on for the bronze when under 3m from the winner SCORCHED. He will appreciate mobile conditions and can make his 1st Redcliffe appearance a win.

SPIRIT WALKER (6) aims up for the hat-trick in 8 days after a pair of stylish victories here and then at AP. Her win here was solid when circling them early from a 50m tape to take control and proving too classy. Stepping straight to the front on Tues at AP she again dominated. The gate and mobile is the query.

MISTER OZ (1) last tasted victory when claiming a 2040m mobile event here back in July. Angled to the pegs in the McNeil he chased home well and with the benefit of the ace gate can feature.

JUSTABITLIKEMUM (7) wasn’t suited last start when forced to work in the run from her 40m impost. With 1 win in 5 appearances behind the mobile, she can be sharper in this and won’t be far away.

SELECTIONS: GREG THE GREAT (3), SPIRIT WALKER (6), MISTER OZ (1), JUSTABITLIKEMUM (7)
SUGGESTED BET: GREG THE GREAT (3) to win

RACE THREE

MATRON JUJON (10) has no favours from the gate but gets into this on a big class drop from recent starts. Returning from a break over the AP 2138m trip 3 starts back, she was 9m from the winner after a cosy run. 2nd to the smart LEFT A TERROR 2nd up, her latest effort was a tidy run behind the in-form BRIAN WHO. She can negate the gate.

BETTOR WATCH HIIM (5) will take further benefit from his latest outing when 2nd up from a break. Landing gate 6 at his return he was snagged back early and then never in the mix over the Redcliffe 1780m. He met a stronger line-up last start from gate 5 at AP and with even luck gets his chance.

INCITER (6) circled them from the 2nd line to find the breeze at Marburg last time out and under a tough run was still giving on the line when finishing 2m from the winner. Only beaten a half-head here 3 starts back, he can get in the contest from this gate and will be in for the fight.

ONE LAST ROLL (3) held them wide from gate 1 over the 2040m last time out when looking to take them all the way but faded in the closing stages. Fitter following 2 runs back from a break he has place hopes.

SELECTIONS: MATRON JUJON (10), BETTOR WATCH HIIM (5), INCITER (6), ONE LAST ROLL (3)
SUGGESTED BET: MATRON JUJON (10) to win

RACE FOUR

ZED CODE (8)
wasn’t suited when forced to cut the breeze last start and did well under the circumstances when finishing mid-field. She hit the line nicely at AP 3 starts back and followed that with a tidy effort behind TAKITIMU EXPRESS. With even luck in transit she will give this a big shake.

MY WINGMAN (4) will strip fitter following his return to the track at Marburg following a spell. Angled to the pegs and locked away after starting from wide off the front line, he was sound to the line when not far from the winner LOTS MORE GRINS. With good early speed he can look to end a long winless streak.

MOLLIGUANNA (10) worked home wide off the track to claim a nice win at Marburg last start when running away from them. The gate hurts but if able to find the right cart into the contest can place.

ITS YOU NOT ME (1) had to retreat from the wide gate last time out and that was the end of his day thereafter. From this gate he will get the cosy trip and probing for openings can chime into the money.

SELECTIONS: ZED CODE (8), MY WINGMAN (4), MOLLIGUANNA (10), ITS YOU NOT ME (1)
SUGGESTED BET: ZED CODE (8) to win

RACE FIVE

WILLSINTOWN (2) has been freshened since his last appearance when he wilted late after some early pressure. The start prior he was only 6m from the winner DESTINY WARRIOR while his win here 4 starts back over the 2040m trip was a top effort in scoring from gate 10. With great early speed he can bounce back.

RUATO BAY (3) rolled forward and was doing some early work prior to finding cover and worked home soundly when 6m from the winner GREGS LEGACY. He struck trouble the start prior that put him out of business and if limiting the early burn can throw down the challenge in this.

BROADWATER (6) was wide off the track and continued to forge forward to find the breeze over the sprint trip and was in for the fight when within 5m of the winner. 3rd to RIVERLEIGH ROCKET in a 2nd division qualifier 3 starts back, he will be right in the fight.

CHLOES CLOUD (8) led them up last start from gate 1 when grabbed in the closing stages by GREGS LEGACY. With the right early trail, she can be chiming in late here.

SELECTIONS: WILLSINTOWN (2), RUATO BAY (3), BROADWATER (6), CHLOES CLOUD (8)
SUGGESTED BET: WILLSINTOWN (2) to win

RACE SIX

BETTING BARON (8)
was eased back early from gate 5 over the AP mile last start and was closing out strongly thereafter to be 5m from the winner BRIAN WHO. His run 2 starts back was a solid effort from gate 7 when wide all the way. Following through here with an early trail, this looks his chance to cash-in.

GUTS (9) was luckless here 2 starts back when probing for openings that never arrived. Forced to start from the widest gate at Marburg last start he was always facing a task and chased gamely in a solid closing 800 set from the front. With just a hint of luck in the run he can arrive for the prize.

FORTES IN FIDE (2) slid back from gate 4 to find position last start and was strong to the line when 7m from the winner NOVENA ROSE. With speed out of the machine he can pounce on the pegs and look to control it.

RUTHLESS ARMBRO (6) returned from a spell in fine style when finishing strongly wide off the track to claim a stylish win over the 2040m trip. He struggled to work into it last start but can be sharper.

SELECTIONS: BETTING BARON (8), GUTS (9), FORTES IN FIDE (2), RUTHLESS ARMBRO (6)
SUGGESTED BET: BETTING BARON (8) to win

RACE SEVEN

MACH SAM (5) started from this same gate last time in similar company and driven patiently came with a sweeping burst to blow them away and take a 26m demolition. That was reward for a pair of tidy runs in stronger claiming company and he can look to go back-to-back.

RORY MACH (9) found the 1x1 in Sat night claiming company last start and was strong to the line in a run that was better than the result shows. That followed a good effort when working home strongly from well back to be 6m from COMPLY OR DIE and with the right run is the knockout danger.

SOMEBEACH N CLOVELLY (3) heads north to tackle claiming company and has good early speed that might just see him in front here. Freshened since his last Tamworth appearance he has place hopes.

WATTLEBANK FLYER (8) wilted last start after receiving an easy run in transit when locked on the pegs. That followed a 1m 2nd when swooping home hard and with the right early trail through here can be much sharper.

SELECTIONS: MACH SAM (5), RORY MACH (9), SOMEBEACH N CLOVELLY (3), WATTLEBANK FLYER (8)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE EIGHT

SPLASH OF GOLD (7)
will need some factors in her favour here but with the right run behind what looks the likely leader, she can be primed and ready to strike when the gaps arrive. She led them up last start over the 2040m and was only grabbed late when 4m from NOVENA ROSE. Just needs the luck.

ROCKNROLL PROMISE (1) was a winner here 5 starts back when finishing best from back in the pack to claim a tidy win after starting from gate 6. He has been well held from tough gates in 4 runs since, however his latest effort had merit when only 9m away. He can look to capitalise on the ace gate.

ELMS CREEK (5) did well under the circumstances last start when not far from the winner THE MUSE. He closed out strongly here 3 starts back from gate 6 to grab the bronze and he can feature despite the tough gate.

PROJECTILE (9) rolled forward to find the front from gate 3 here last time out over the 2040m but couldn’t see it out. That followed a tough run from the breeze, but saved for 1 run can chime in here.

SELECTIONS: SPLASH OF GOLD (7), ROCKNROLL PROMISE (1), ELMS CREEK (5), PROJECTILE (9)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-5-7-9
