Successful GCBF grants announced

Six Queensland racing clubs will benefit from more than $100,000 in capital improvements after receiving funding through the latest round of the Gambling Community Benefit Fund.

In total, six clubs will receive a total of $132,738 in grant funding to enhance their capacity in providing services, leisure activities and opportunities for participants.

The six successful projects are:

Bundaberg Race Club

Air conditioning installation

Dalby and Northern Downs Jockey Club

Solar system install and equipment purchase

Eidsvold Race Club

$27,620

Undercover area upgrade

Emerald Jockey Club

$33,000

Facility upgrade

Gold Coast Turf Club

$15,000

Spreader machine purchase

Stamford Race Club

$12,000

Coldroom purchase and kitchen upgrade

Round 105 of the GCBF is currently open, and Racing Queensland encourages all eligible clubs to submit their applications.

Applications close at 11.59pm on 30 April 2020.
