Racing Queensland advises that the Brisbane Racing Club race meeting at Doomben on Wednesday, March 30, has been postponed and rescheduled to Monday, April 4.
The decision to postpone the meeting was made following a track inspection this morning and the determination that the surface will not be suitable for racing on, irrespective of the weather over the next 24 hours.
The same program for the race meeting will be retained, however in accordance with RQ protocol new nominations will be called for.
Accordingly, the revised deadlines for the meeting are as follows:
- Nominations: Wednesday, March 30 - 11am
- Weights declared: Thursday, March 31
- Acceptances: Friday, April 1 - 9am
- Jockey declarations: Friday, April 1 - 12 noon
- Final scratchings: Monday, April 4 - 7:30am
Trainers/riders with engagements at tomorrow’s meeting have been advised via SMS.
