RACE TWO

WHATA REACTOR (8) eased from outside the front line at Redcliffe two starts back and from deep in the pack was then making a wide run to get within 6m of the winner JAMAICAN RESORT. From outside the front line in recent starts owing to the barrier embargo, the change can help her chance.

OUR EDUARDO DENARIO (4) was beaten by the second line last start when settling back in the pack and unable to get into the contest over this trip. Snagging back to the pegs from gate 6 at Redcliffe the start prior when finding the line in nice order, he can get forward early to make a challenge.

THE CROM (5) broke the shackles of the maiden tag at Redcliffe last start when owning the best closing speed to work over the top and claim victory. The gate stings the repeat hopes.

SUNDOWNER SHANNON (7) was sent forward from the second line to sit parked over the sprint trip two starts back when holding on for the silver. That type of performance can see him feature here.

SELECTIONS: WHATA REACTOR (8), OUR EDUARDO DENARIO (4), THE CROM (5), SUNDOWNER SHANNON (7)
SUGGESTED BET: WHATA REACTOR (8) to win

RACE THREE

DARBY BRIGHTS (8)
is still a maiden on this track from twelve attempts, having secured a minor placing in five of those. In nice touch at present, they were content to sit parked last start and despite the tough trip, she pulled clear for an easy victory. Despite the second line she can repeat.

VALKYRIE HANOVER (2) was sent to the front here last start and never really given much peace in front which saw her unable to go on with it when the speed went on. Taking control again, she can be up close to the action which will be right place to be in this battle.

DUKE (7) was sent straight to the front here last time out and once in control was never in danger. With a tidy record on this track that shows a top-three in 4 of 6, he can follow through to be in the mix.

QUALITY TIME (5) was sent forward from gate 3 last start over this trip and was working hard when fighting on to hold 2nd place. Fitter for the run after two runs back from a spell, he can feature.

SELECTIONS: DARBY BRIGHTS (8), VALKYRIE HANOVER (2), DUKE (7), QUALITY TIME (5)
SUGGESTED BET: DARBY BRIGHTS (8) to win

RACE FOUR

SOMEGIRLSOMEWHERE (1)
has been racing in consistent fashion since resuming from a spell with a top-three in four of six this season. Grafting it out when parked over the Redcliffe print trip last start, she was just a head from the passing lane winner. Needing a slice of luck, if open road presents, she can arrive.

GOALKICKER (2) fired out to take control last start from gate 4 and from the front was unable to see it out when fading near the wire to be 6m in arrears of the winner. Just a half-head away the start prior in a mare’s qualifier when leading, her record here is strong, and she will be gripping on.

ALLSTAR SEA (6) will be hemmed away here and needing luck to find open road on a track where he is two from four. Showing early hustle from gate 4 last start, he will be searching for openings here.

HEY MISTER TAYLOR (7) returns to the venue of his only Qld victory that was recorded from this same gate. Runner-up at his past two starts, the latest only a neck away after working hard.

SELECTIONS: SOMEGIRLSOMEWHERE (1), GOALKICKER (2), ALLSTAR SEA (6), HEY MISTER TAYLOR (7)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-2-6-7

RACE FIVE

A GOOD IDEAL (2) was on the two-day back-up here last Sunday when sent forward from gate 4. Content to sit parked, he rolled the sleeves for the tough stuff and proved too strong when pulling clear to claim a 6m margin. That was his second win in two days and the gate avails the opportunity to claim the threepeat.

JOEY LINCOLN (8) will be fresh up after his last start 3rd over the AP mile when using the passing lane to finish with the bronze when 5m from RING THE TILL with A GOOD IDEAL in 2nd. Both of those runners have been subsequent winners and with even luck, he can be making a challenge.

TURN TURN FLYER (4) was shotting for the hat-trick last start when asked to sit parked over the 1780m trip and finishing down the line. Closing out from back in the pack to score two runs back, he is a podium hope.

TIMENPATIENCE (5) has placed at her past two starts but given no favours from this alley. Trying to launch a closing raid from back in the pack last start, positioning cheaply will be key.

SELECTIONS: A GOOD IDEAL (2), JOEY LINCOLN (8), TURN TURN FLYER (4), TIMENPATIENCE (5)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE SIX

JUST ONE GOOD ONE (1)
came out from gate 4 here last week to have a look for the front and after taking a good shot that was repelled, eased into the pocket trail. Holding on for 3rd, it was an improvement from his previous two from second line draws and from the ace gets his chance to dictate.

LOOKS JUST RIGHT (4) was sent to sit parked from gate 5 over the sprint trip at Redcliffe last start and despite the tough trip was in for the fight when holding on for the silver. Not far from SIGNOR JUJON the start prior after a tough run, he can get forward to throw it down to them.

VERMONT (7) is in search of a hat-trick of wins after successive Redcliffe victories. Settling in the 1x1 trail last start before pulling clear to a big 12m victory, she takes her first look at this deck.

JACKBKWIK (9) is another to be having his maiden Marburg appearance and arrives after finishing as the runner-up at his past two outings. A beaten fav at his past four in succession, he has podium claims.

SELECTIONS: JUST ONE GOOD ONE (1), LOOKS JUST RIGHT (4), VERMONT (7), JACKBKWIK (9)
SUGGESTED BET: JUST ONE GOOD ONE (1) to win

RACE SEVEN

AMERICAN FLYER (2)
is a gate speed mare and from the two-hole lands the chance to pounce on the poles early. Claiming a mare’s qualifier when taking them all the way from gate 7 five runs back, her next two were from the second line. Fading in front last start, she gets every chance to dictate.

JUST DESSY (1) was having his first Qld start at his last appearance when unable to cross from gate 2 and settling in the running line. Unable to go with them when the power went on in the closing stages, he finished midfield behind the winner THE DARLING. From the gate he can search for gaps.

KANYE CRUSADER (8) will take further benefit from his latest outing when third up from a spell. Holding the pocket trail to grab 3rd, he will need to be wide at some stage here.

TEARAWAY DIAMOND (6) is one of only two horses in the field with previous form on this track and the only winner here, claiming three victories. Needing some luck from this alley, he will be probing.

SELECTIONS: AMERICAN FLYER (2), JUST DESSY (1), KANYE CRUSADER (8), TEARAWAY DIAMOND (6)
SUGGESTED BET: AMERICAN FLYER (2) to win

RACE EIGHT

ABERCROMBIE TAB (4)
went on a heater and put together five successive wins and then scored a tough 2nd when shooting for the six-pack. Wide gates have stung at his past three starts, the latest when working hard when parked yet just 3m away. This looks within reach.

NEWMERELLA LADYKAY (1) sat in the pocket trail over the AP mile two starts back and was making a closing dive when just a neck in arrears of the winner. Beaten by a wide gate here last time out, she has placed on this deck seven times but is yet to breakthrough for a win. The gate is a huge plus.

HEARTBREAK (5) comes up with the outside paint despite earning a return to the main draw last start after serving his ODM embargo. Closing strongly two starts back, he has podium claims.

ROCKNROLL DA GAMA (7) will be requiring a slice of luck from this alley. Chasing to be midfield to DOLLARBILL last start, he will be back in the pack and looking to sweep home.

SELECTIONS: ABERCROMBIE TAB (4), NEWMERELLA LADYKAY (1), HEARTBREAK (5), ROCKNROLL DA GAMA (7)
SUGGESTED BET: ABERCROMBIE TAB (4) to win

RACE NINE

TINGE OF FEAR (1)
was sent forward from the wide gate last start in a second division mare’s qualifier and obliged to do it the tough way when parked as the race favourite. Finishing midfield after the tough run, it followed three successive placings and with the gate advantage gets every chance to capitalise.

MISS MIA (2) started from the second line here last start and was wide off the track over the closing lap trying to eat into the deficit when 9m from the winner MAGICOL IDEAL. Locked away on the pegs two starts back, she can settle handy to the action here ready to make a challenge.

DOLLARBILL (6) had to graft it out when parked last start after pressing forward from gate 4 and then making one closing dive to get within a half-head of the winner. From this gate he will be searching for open road.

ROCKNROLL DUDE (7) angled to the poles last start from gate 9 over the Redcliffe 2040m and was picking off some late metres to be 4m from the winner. With the right trail, he can chime in here.

SELECTIONS: TINGE OF FEAR (1), MISS MIA (2), DOLLARBILL (6), ROCKNROLL DUDE (7)
SUGGESTED BET: TINGE OF FEAR (1) to win
