RACE TWO

CAPTAIN NEMO (3) will take further benefit from his victory here last week when finding the front over this trip and seeing it out. That was his second run back from a break following a strong showing when fresh without a trial. He may need to do it the tough way but is up to the task.

LE TISSIER (6) secured the perfect trip in behind the speed here last time out and when produced into open air was able to zip past to claim victory by 5m. That made it successive wins after a passing lane win over the 2138m and despite the horrid draw, can power home to challenge.

SOHO SINATRA (7) bounced back to winning form last start when leading throughout from gate 1 and putting it out of reach of the chasers. He will be tucked away ready for the gaps to feature.

TEDDY FEELS GOOD (1) claimed his first Qld victory when taking them all the way from this same alley last week. This is a step up, but he gets every chance from the gate to make a play.

SELECTIONS: CAPTAIN NEMO (3), LE TISSIER (6), SOHO SINATRA (7), TEDDY FEELS GOOD (1)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-3-6-7

RACE THREE

In a race where five of the contestants don’t have a win at this track, FOND MEMORIES (7) might just be the one to claim her first Redcliffe win. Relying on some luck, she follows a good gate speed runner and is in good form with two minors and two wins in her past four starts. With the right trip she can arrive.

SECRETAGENT TYCOON (2) has nothing to show in four starts her at The Triangle, the latest when tackling open company and never getting a crack at them from the poles as TURN IT UP dictated in front. Left exposed before retreating to the rear two back, he can be closer to the action in this.

MAYWYNS COURAGE (1) has the gate to take advantage of but has two pertinent questions he needs to answer to cash-in. Having never raced here and with no wins beyond a mile, can he break new ground on two fronts.

BITCOIN (8) made the most of gate 3 two starts back when pressing on to take control and from the front was never headed. Placed last week, he can be slicing through to find the podium again.

SELECTIONS: FOND MEMORIES (7), SECRETAGENT TYCOON (2), MAYWYNS COURAGE (1), BITCOIN (8)
SUGGESTED BET: FOND MEMORIES (7) to win

RACE FOUR

This race looks a battle between the Uncles on paper, where SO BOBS YOUR UNCLE (1) has the options. A winner from the passing lane five runs back over the AP mile, he was 6m from KEAYANG MARVEN last start from inside the second line. With the chance to take the sit, he can land the closing shot.

OUR UNCLE JIM (2) is a two-time winner here at The Triangle and from this gate can press on and look to light the lamps. Sitting parked from a wide gate at Marburg last start over the 2200m, he grafted away to arrive in the closing strides. 3rd over the AP 2138m two back, he will be gripping on.

INFATUATION (8) was first up in Qld when hitting the line in nice order here two starts back to grab the silver behind BITCOIN. Wide off the track chasing SOHO SINATRA last start, he can swoop.

CAPTAINS PICK (9) missed the podium for the first time in 7 attempts here last week when sticking to the inside and finishing 5m from SOHO SINATRA. He can be looking to chime in again here.

SELECTIONS: SO BOBS YOUR UNCLE (1), OUR UNCLE JIM (2), INFATUATION (8), CAPTAINS PICK (9)
SUGGESTED BET: SO BOBS YOUR UNCLE (1) to win

RACE FIVE

This is the final of a NR58-70 series following four heats and while the gate hurts on face value, the tempo might just set up for AMERICAN OUTLAW (9). From deep in the pack at Marburg last start, he only made a move at the 350m and powered around the pack, but the winner CALL ME KEITH had already pinched it. He can be closer here and be ready for the shoot-out.

MAJOR GENERALJUJON (2) stamped his entry pass to this Final when taking them all the way from gate 1 on this deck. Keeping them rolling from the front, he fought off the challengers in sharp time. Just 2m away here on Tuesday, he can be first to the pegs in this with the options thereafter.

CALL ME KEITH (7) comes up with a cruel gate as he searches for the hat-trick. Putting them to the sword at the 400m at Marburg, this will be his first trip across Bramble Bay to the Peninsula.

ADAM CROCKER (6) was resuming from a spell in his heat at Marburg when he got the start all wrong. Holding on for the silver in the heat here on Tuesday, look for the fuse to be lit early.

SELECTIONS: AMERICAN OUTLAW (9), MAJOR GENERALJUJON (2), CALL ME KEITH (7), ADAM CROCKER (6)
SUGGESTED BET: AMERICAN OUTLAW (9) each-way

RACE SIX

Undone by the outside front-line gate at Marburg last start, LOVE YOUR WORK (1) was a fighting winner when doing the heavy lifting over the AP 2138m two starts back. Sent to sit parked from the second line, he was too strong in a smart last 800m. He will need to hustle early but gets his chance to dictate.

HEMSWORTH (8) was last seen at The Creek back on Feb 12 when tackling a 2138m event from gate 10. Making a move with a lap to travel, he was wide but could not go with them in a 27.3 third panel. He is 3 from 4 here on The Triangle and with the right tempo can throw down the challenge.

THE GENERAL (7) has been runner-up at his past two appearances, the latest from this gate when getting within a head of the dictating winner CAPTAIN NEMO. He will again be probing in the stretch.

OBI ONE (4) slid into the 1x1 trail from gate 9 here last week and was making a closing raid on CAPTAIN NEMO to be a half-neck away. Positioning cheaply will be key to him chiming in.

SELECTIONS: LOVE YOUR WORK (1), HEMSWORTH (8), THE GENERAL (7), OBI ONE (4)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-4-7-8

RACE EIGHT

This race could well be won within the first 200m with the early speed battle looking a key factor. First up last week, SAVING MAJOR PERCY (2) was eased from gate 5 to find position and was soon back in the pack over the 2040m. Attacking the line in nice order for 3rd, he has the gate to capitalise.

SMOOTH CASH (5) found the 1x1 trail here last week but just did not have the zip required over the closing stages when put into open space as TEDDY FEELS GOOD took them all the way. A winner from this gate two starts back when sent forward, he can look to bounce back with a bang.

THE HERVEY BAY (1) holds the keys to this contest for many of his rivals. Normally taking some time to wind up off the arm, he was parked last start when finishing midfield and where he can burrow through to position is vital.

FALCONS (7) found the space to dart in behind the leader here last week and taking the final shot went within a neck of the win. Fitter again after two runs back, he will be probing for openings.

SELECTIONS: SAVING MAJOR PERCY (2), SMOOTH CASH (5), THE HERVEY BAY (1), FALCONS (7)
SUGGESTED BET: SAVING MAJOR PERCY (2) to win

RACE NINE

After three runs back this season where he has drawn 7, 5 and 7, CHAMONIX (1) should relish the opportunity drawn tight in gate 1 for this consolation. Forget his effort here on Tuesday where he struck trouble that ended his chances. From the gate he gets every conceivable opportunity.

LA SAFRON (7) did not have much go his way here on Tuesday when easing to the poles from gate 3 and soon back in the pack was a long way from them when trying to pick up some closing metres. Strong to the line here two starts back behind CAPTAIN NEMO, the map is in his favour.

ISOLATION (4) scored a strong win from gate 4 over this trip three starts back when sent to sit parked and grafting out a 5m margin in slick time. For this consolation, he is right in the fight.

RIVERLEIGH ROCKET (2) is on the back-up from Wednesday night and from this gate looks set to be handy to the speed. A winner from gate 8 three starts back, he can be making a podium play.

SELECTIONS: CHAMONIX (1), LA SAFRON (7), ISOLATION (4), RIVERLEIGH ROCKET (2)
SUGGESTED BET: CHAMONIX (1) to win

RACE TEN

With his only Qld win coming back in October, STRESS FACTOR (3) should appreciate the opportunity to start from the front tape for this contest Just 8m from MELPARK MAGIC last start, he meets him on equal terms here after giving away 20m last time. This looks within reach.

MELPARK MAGIC (1) has worked back into some good form this season and lines up here with wins in three of his past four starts. Finding the pocket trail from the 10m tape last start, he landed the winning shot up the passing lane. From the front tape with a similar trip, he can challenge.

MORE SHADES OF GOLD (6) has placed at his past two starts, the latest here over the mobile 2040m when chasing home behind RED CASTLETON. Placed in both runs on this track, he can feature again.

GARLAND GREENE (7) held on for the bronze here last week behind RED CASTLETON after rolling forward from outside the front line to sit parked. From the 20m he has podium claims.

SELECTIONS: STRESS FACTOR (3), MELPARK MAGIC (1), MORE SHADES OF GOLD (6), GARLAND GREENE (7)
SUGGESTED BET: STRESS FACTOR (3) to win

RACE ELEVEN

A trick mare’s qualifier to line up here where if SUGARKANE (7) can happen to find the passing lane with momentum, she might just be able to pinch it. A winner from the trail over the AP mile three starts back, 2nd and 3rd in that race have both subsequently won. She can grab an open contest.

HAMMERTIME HARLEY (6) was sent forward to sit parked from gate 5 here last week and doing it the tradesman’s way, was banging away to the wire when just a neck shy of the prize. Buried in the run the start prior which followed successive placings, she is getting close to winning one of these.

CHARM OFFENSIVE (5) was facing the outside second line gate here last week and was wide off the track late when unable to reel in the deficit. Charging home two starts back to win, she is in the mix.

IMA BEACH BABE (1) faces a rise in grade but has that offset with the gate as she comes into this on the back-up from Thursday at Marburg. A strong winner two starts back, the gate is a big plus.

SELECTIONS: SUGARKANE (7), HAMMERTIME HARLEY (6), CHARM OFFENSIVE (5), IMA BEACH BABE (1)
SUGGESTED BET:
