RACE TWO

BONNIES A ROCKIN (1) comes up with the ace for the third start in succession and looks tough to beat. Taking them all the way two starts back with a 6m margin, she stepped up to the 2040m last start but could not hold on. Back to the sprint trip looks ideal.

RAINBOW JET (9) could not find position last start and was forced to snag back to the rear and punch up the fence. Sticking to the inside to follow them home, he has been devoid of luck in recent starts and only needs something to go his way to make a challenge.

BETTING BARON (4) had been racing consistently with three successive placings and was rewarded last start with a win from the front. The wider gate makes it tough, but he is in the mix.

AWHOLELOTOFPRETTY (8) shoots for the hat-trick after successive wins here back in February when leading throughout on each occasion. With even luck she can find the podium.

SELECTIONS: BONNIES A ROCKIN (1), RAINBOW JET (9), BETTING BARON (4), AWHOLELOTOFPRETTY (8)
SUGGESTED BET: BONNIES A ROCKIN (1) to win

RACE THREE

IM LOKI (9)
was sent forward from the second line at Marburg last start to stare down the leader but after the tough trip and six weeks between runs, he had to settle for the silver. A winner at his previous four in succession, he will take good benefit from the run to bounce back here.

TRIOLI (8) tends to be hot or cold but finds a race here where those wide and off the second line look to have the edge. Grabbing 3rd here two starts back when darting up the passing lane, her momentum was slightly impeded last start. With the right trip she can chime in.

FORTES IN FIDE (5) was sent forward to sit parked last start and was grinding it out to finish just 4m from the winner. He can get forward to feature again in this line up.

SIGNOR JUJON (6) finished over the top of them three starts back at The Creek and then a wide gate dented his hopes two back before an error last start ended his night. He is a place chance in this.

SELECTIONS: IM LOKI (9), TRIOLI (8), FORTES IN FIDE (5), SIGNOR JUJON (6)
SUGGESTED BET: IM LOKI (9) to win

RACE FOUR

KING OF COOL (3)
returns from a spell and will be first up for Trent Dawson after switching barns. Last seen when finishing 4th here behind FRANCO NANDOR after starting from gate 9, he has opened the pipes with a tidy trial and finds the right conditions to strike fresh.

COURAGEOUS SAM (2) is also returning from a long break to commence his 4YO season, his last start back in July when grabbing 3rd. Settling handy to the action from this alley, he can throw down the challenge first up.

ROLLED IN GOLD (4) had every conceivable last week after securing the pocket trail and with plenty of time to wind up in the stretch was collared on the line. The wider gate this time does not help.

HARLEY BLUE (5) was second up from a spell last start but did have over three weeks between both starts back this campaign. Fitter for last week’s effort, she has podium claims.

SELECTIONS: KING OF COOL (3), COURAGEOUS SAM (2), ROLLED IN GOLD (4), HARLEY BLUE (5)
SUGGESTED BET: KING OF COOL (3) to win

RACE FIVE

LITTLEDEE (5) was a winner from this same gate four starts back when easing into the running line before finishing best wide off the track to take the prize. Runner-up after starting fav here two starts back, she was luckless last start at Marburg and finds the race to cash-in.

REGRETABLE (8) was in search of four successive wins here tree runs back when unable to go on with it after settling in with cover. Her past three have been below what she delivered with the winning hat-trick and she finds conditions here to get the opportunity to bounce back.

DEVELSTIX (4) keeps chipping away and added another minor to the tally last start to make it 8 placings in 10 starts on this track. The gate makes it a little tricky, but he can chime in again.

ALLY PINK (2) has not been too far away in recent starts with her past five in succession when drawn gate 1. Beaten an eyelash here five starts back, there is not a lot of depth to this contest.

SELECTIONS: LITTLEDEE (5), REGRETABLE (8), DEVELSTIX (4), ALLY PINK (2)
SUGGESTED BET: LITTLEDEE (5) to win

RACE SIX

FEELING THE POWER (6)
was knocking on the door and finally had the key to open the lock of victory here three starts back when finishing over the top. Again too strong in the closing stages last start, he finds another winnable contest where he can overcome the tough gate.

TULHURST LOVER (5) was a gritty winner here three starts back when sent to sit parked from this same gate and taking every centimetre of the stretch to arrive on the wire for the prize. Not suited at Marburg last start, she can be sharper in this battle.

BLACKJEWEL (7) eased from gate 5 last start and from deep in the pack was making some late metres to grab the silver behind MANY DELIGHTS. Buried here, she will be probing for openings.

BERTILS FIREFOX (2) found the front before handing over last time and with an even tempo could not see it out. A winner here three starts back from the front, he can be thereabouts from this gate.

SELECTIONS: FEELING THE POWER (6), TULHURST LOVER (5), BLACKJEWEL (7), BERTILS FIREFOX (2)
SUGGESTED BET: FEELING THE POWER (6) to win

RACE SEVEN

GABBYS IDEAL (8)
started from this same alley last start when settling in the running line before powering over the top of them in the closing stages to pull clear for a comfortable 11m victory. With the right trip from this gate once again, she can look to rinse and repeat.

COBBLER LANE (1) circled them early to sit parked last time out at Marburg and was in for the fight when battling on for the bronze. Fitter again for the run after three runs back this campaign, he comes up with the gate to turn around his fortunes.

BE ON THE SLY (2) ended a win drought here last start when pressing ahead from the second line to sit parked and grafting out a 3m margin. From the gate he is right in the fight.

ILLAWONG DREAMTIME (7) looked to have every hope in front last start when setting the speed from gate 1 over the 2040m trip but faded out. With the cosy trip, he can be sharper.

SELECTIONS: GABBYS IDEAL (8), COBBLER LANE (1), BE ON THE SLY (2), ILLAWONG DREAMTIME (7)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE EIGHT

CANDYKANE (1)
was on debut here last week when eased from gate 5 to settle near the rear of the pack before picking off a few closing metres to finish midfield. Taking experience from the outing, she lands the alley and a wide-open maiden to get on the board.

MIKIYOURSOFINE (7) eased to the poles from gate 2 last start and chimed in for the bronze behind the easy winner BETTYS GOLD CLASS. Placed in three here at The Triangle, he looks set for the coy trip to make a closing challenge.

BEARS BEST (9) has placed in three of his past four as he searches for the maiden breaker, the latest being a 3rd when chasing home behind AROONA. Back to maiden grade suits.

MISTER GALVINATOR (5) has placed in two of his five career starts, the latest back in January when grabbing the bronze behind BEJIGGITY. The wide gate makes it tough but he has podium claims.

SELECTIONS: CANDYKANE (1), MIKIYOURSOFINE (7), BEARS BEST (9), MISTER GALVINATOR (5)
SUGGESTED BET: CANDYKANE (1) to win
