RACE TWO

RAINBOW JET (2) made it successive wins here six starts back and since that last win has had nothing go his way. Game in defeat last start when sent to sit parked from the second line, he was forced to retreat the start prior when no position was on offer. He can take control of this.

MISSTREPO (8) was beaten by the outside second line gate at Marburg last start and could not work into the contest on the tight track. Sent to sit parked here two starts back over the middle trip, he faded after the tough run. Following through early can see her in position to challenge.

REGAL NIGHTSHADE (6) has no favours from the outside paint but has been consistent of late with three successive minors followed by a last start win. With even luck he can join in.

AWHOLELOTOFPRETTY (4) started from the second line last time out when trying to make a closing raid and finishing 5m in arrears. Tightened from that effort she can feature.

SELECTIONS: RAINBOW JET (2), MISSTREPO (8), REGAL NIGHTSHADE (6), AWHOLELOTOFPRETTY (4)
SUGGESTED BET: RAINBOW JET (2) to win

RACE THREE

SHE OWNS THE DAY (1)
fired off the arm to take control over this trip three starts back and set the tempo when only the smart and subsequent winner SUMOMENTSOMEWHERE was able to get past. A victim of gate 6 at her next start, she found JASPER too classy last start. This looks ideal.

TEE JAY CEE (8) has now had three runs back from a spell and shown good improvement at each outing. Eased to the poles from gate 5 last start, he as picking off some nice metres in the closing stages when 7m in arrears of the winner. Pressing through from this alley, he can make a play.

BONNIES A ROCKIN (4) has two wins in her past three starts and sandwiched between the wins is a 2nd placing over the 2040m where she just faded in the closing stages. She is in the mix.

SOMEGIRLSOMEWHERE (3) eased off the poles into the running line at Marburg from inside the second line last start but could not get into the battle. Settling handy, she can feature.

SELECTIONS: SHE OWNS THE DAY (1), TEE JAY CEE (8), BONNIES A ROCKIN (4), SOMEGIRLSOMEWHERE (3)
SUGGESTED BET: SHE OWNS THE DAY (1) to win

RACE FOUR

NINA SIMONE (1)
features in a stable change to join the Shane Graham stable and comes up with the good gate in search of recapturing some form. Buried in the run last start from inside the second line, she comes up with the options in a race where the 2040m asks some questions.

SIGNOR JUJON (3) eased from gate 6 last time out with the field in single file at the bell was a long way from the leader. Making up good metres in the latter stages to grab the silver, it followed an error at Marburg that ended his chances. Getting handy here can see him throw it down.

GETALOADATHISGIRL (7) was beaten by a wide second line gate at Marburg last time out when too far back in the pack. Just a half-head away here two starts back, she will be searching for the gaps.

BETTING BARON (8) was a winner over the sprint trip here two starts back when firing off the gate to take control in the early stages. The pegs could be the place to chime in here.

SELECTIONS: NINA SIMONE (1), SIGNOR JUJON (3), GETALOADATHISGIRL (7), BETTING BARON (8)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE FIVE

AS SHE SAYS (7)
was asked to do it the tough way last start after being sent forward from a wide gate to get outside the leader and after the tough trip held on to claim the bronze. Picking up some late metres over the closing stages the start prior, she will be ready to strike here.

COURAGEOUS SAM (1) will take good benefit from his last outing where he was resuming from over eight months off the scene. Holding the 1x1 trail through a steady opening 800m, the effort was sound behind KING OF COOL. With the options from this gate, he can make a challenge.

JELIGINITE JACK (5) was sent forward to sit parked last start and after the tough trip faded as the smart CANT BLUFF YOU pulled clear to a big win. He might have to roll the sleeves again.

INDY JEWEL (8) started from this same alley last week when settled in the 1x1 trail, but the tempo made it tough for the chasers. With the right trail through, she can chime in here.

SELECTIONS: AS SHE SAYS (7), COURAGEOUS SAM (1), JELIGINITE JACK (5), INDY JEWEL (8)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-5-7-8

RACE SIX

MANY DELIGHTS (7)
will be relying on some factors in his favour but if he can get to the passing lane with momentum, he might just have the edge to claim another win. Pressing on to the front last start, he was under siege but fought back and was too strong. Just needs the rub of the green.

AROONA (5) eased from gate 3 over this trip two starts back and was saved for one run. Powering up around the field, he pulled clear to claim an 8m margin. Doing some early work when pressing forward last start and holding on for the bronze, he can be making a challenge here.

CHASIN DREAMZ (2) was runner-up here two starts back when returning from a let up, picking some nice metres over the closing stage. Buried last start, with added fitness she can chime in again.

LA BELLE CHEVAL (8) was beaten by the second line at Marburg last start when too far back to get into the contest. Placed at her previous two starts, she can be again hitting the board in this.

SELECTIONS: MANY DELIGHTS (7), AROONA (5), CHASIN DREAMZ (2), LA BELLE CHEVAL (8)
SUGGESTED BET: MANY DELIGHTS (7) to win

RACE SEVEN

BERTILS FIREFOX (3)
fired off from gate 2 to find the front last start before releasing. With the trail thereafter, he was able to hold on for the bronze when under 3m from the winner. He took them all the way here five starts back and finds conditions to look for another all the way effort.

JUST CALL ME MOLLY (2) is a trotter taking on the pacers that will strip fitter following her latest outing when returning from a spell. Tackling a mobile event at her return, she found the front and was only collared by THE REAPER in the closing strides. From the gate she can throw it down.

SCHOOBY (4) was crossed early before was sent for the retake. Back in front he was able to control the tempo and despite getting a little wary held on for the win. The wider gate stings this time.

WILD ABOUT TOWN (7) lands inside the second line for the third successive start and will be relying on a slice of luck at some stage to look for the short-cuts on the way home.

SELECTIONS: BERTILS FIREFOX (3), JUST CALL ME MOLLY (2), SCHOOBY (4), WILD ABOUT TOWN (7)
SUGGESTED BET: BERTILS FIREFOX (3) to win

RACE EIGHT

FLOORLESS (5)
is moving ever closer to a maiden breaking win after finishing as the runner-up at her past four in succession. Sent forward to sit parked last start, she did her share of work and was game when 4m in arrears of the winner CANDYKANE. With race fitness, this could be her chance to capitalise.

BETTOR ROCKNROLL (1) returns from a spell to kick off his 3YO term and comes into this without a public trial to prepare. Last seen back in October when releasing the front over the AP mile and chasing home behind PARTY POLOTIX, he has the gate to challenge first up.

MISTER GALVINATOR (9) got it all wrong last start when making an error soon after the start that ended his chances. Chiming in for 3rd the start prior, he can be thereabouts again.

DESTINY BLUES (4) was making good late metres to grab the bronze last start when under 2m from the winner BROOKLYN RAINBOW. Positioning cheaply will be key to her podium hopes.

SELECTIONS: FLOORLESS (5), BETTOR ROCKNROLL (1), MISTER GALVINATOR (9), FLASH FREDDIE (3)
SUGGESTED BET: FLOORLESS (5) to win
