Racing Queensland confirms that the Gold Coast Turf Club trials tomorrow, Monday, March 7, have been rescheduled to Thursday, March 10.
The decision to defer the trials was made following further storm activity in the Gold Coast region today, a result of which is the trialling surface has endured significant rainfall.
As a consequence of the transfer, fresh nominations will be called for.
Trainers should note that if nomination numbers be considered excessive and a ballot system is deemed appropriate, preference will be given to horses originally nominated for tomorrow’s trials.
Nominations for the meeting will close at 12pm, Wednesday, March 9.
Participants with pending engagements at tomorrow’s trials will be advised via SMS.
