Racing Queensland (RQ) advises the Ipswich Greyhound Racing Club race program from Wednesday March 23 to Tuesday March 29, inclusive of the grading schedule and trialing times.

Race Program

Grading Schedule

A new programming framework will apply to the Wednesday and Sunday race meetings to address the large number of not required greyhounds at these meetings.

The Wednesday race meeting on March 23 will now be a Class 3 meeting and will primarily cater for Maiden 288m and Novice 288m. Graded races over 288m may also be drawn if there are insufficient nominations for 12 races of Maiden and Novice events.

The Sunday race meeting on March 27 will primarily cater for 288m graded races. Maiden and Novice races over 288m may also be drawn if there are insufficient nominations for 12 races of graded events.

Furthermore, the Monday race meeting on March 28 will now be a Class 2 meeting which will cater for all distances.

The Club will continue to trial once a week on Thursday mornings. The trial session on Thursday March 24 will be extended by one hour, starting at 6am and concluding at 11am. Each trainer will be allowed a maximum of five trials. The Club will take bookings from 9am next Monday morning.
