Helen Page was one of the first women in Australia to receive a trainer's license, and in 1991, she was the first female trainer to place in the Melbourne Cup with Magnolia Hall.

Today, Helen runs a small yet successful stable at the Gold Coast, and sat down with Racing Queensland to discuss her time in the industry, and the many successes that have come with it.

She also gave us the inside word on her runners in Friday's meet at the Gold Coast Turf Club.
