RACE TWO

NOT THE KINGSWOOD (6) has placed in 3 runs since returning from a break, the latest from gate 2 where he settled int eh 1x1 trail. Trying to chase late, he was able to grab 3rd as MY UTLIMATE CLIPPA took the prize. Runner-up from the pocket trail here 2 starts back, the gate stings but he might just find this within his grasp.

GOJOE (5) settled against the markers here 2 starts back from inside the 2nd line and when out and chasing was runner-up to the handy MY ULTIMATE BAXTER. Too far back last start over the 2138m when trying to launch a raid, he finds a suitable assignment here to make a play.

SIGNOR JUJON (7) went around in the 4YO Triad Final last start from gate 1 and as the field sorted position he was soon hemmed away 3 back. Unable to go with them when the power went on, this is more suitable despite the tough gate.

WOODLANDS ROSE (1) returns from a spell to kick off her 3YO season, shut down last term following a maiden breaking win when leading throughout. Her trials have been fair and from the gate has podium claims.

SELECTIONS: NOT THE KINGSWOOD (6), GOJOE (5), SIGNOR JUJON (7), WOODLANDS ROSE (1)
SUGGESTED BET: NOT THE KINGSWOOD (6) to win

RACE THREE

First up from a spell last start without a trial, SPIDERS DEVIL (7) started from 50m and was given an easy time in the early stages. Making a closing charge from the rearward spot, it was an eye-catching effort as he attacked the line with gusto in grabbing the bronze. This is no harder and he can frank the first-up effort.

IMA CALVERT ROSE (5) was sent to the post as fav last start from the 10m tape. Settling in a rearward position after a safe but slow getaway, she was unable to eat into the deficit. Her run the start prior stood out after making an error and then only 4m in arrears and if she can get it right, she can throw it down.

TOUCHE DE FLING (3) was not suited last start and faded after doing some work. Giving plenty in front here 3 starts back when holding on for 3rd, if she steps to the front, she is in the mix.

CLOVER LOU (8) was returning from a spell here 2 starts back and worked home smartly to grab the bronze behind PRINCESS FAITH. Forget her last start when striking trouble, she has podium claims.

SELECTIONS: SPIDERS DEVIL (7), IMA CALVERT ROSE (5), TOUCHE DE FLING (3), CLOVER LOU (8)
SUGGESTED BET: SPIDERS DEVIL (7) to win

RACE FOUR

ORLANDO JOLT (7)
started from a 10m tape here on Tues and rolling forward was soon outside he leader and required to do some work. Despite that, he was able to put them away, cruising home to claim a 3m victory. A similar scenario looks to unfold here, and it can be a case of rinse and repeat.

DOWN UNDER RORS (1) started from the 50m tape here 2 starts back over this trip and with some J Cremin magic weaved his way home to score a smart win. Pressing ahead here on Tuesday from the 10m tape, he found the front but was under siege in the stretch when 8m from the winner. With options here he can challenge.

THE REAPER (3) stepped cleanly here on Tuesday and pressing to the front looked to take them all the way. Unable to fight them off in the stretch, he can be at the pointy end again and be clinging on.

UNKNOWN SON (6) resumes from a spell after his last appearance came in a strong Jim McNeil victory. He has looked ultra-smart in since arriving in Qld with 3 wins in 4 attempts and despite no public hit out in readiness for this, he cannot be under-estimated.

SELECTIONS: ORLANDO JOLT (7), DOWN UNDER RORS (1), THE REAPER (3), UNKNOWN SON (6)
SUGGESTED BET: ORLANDO JOLT (7) to win

RACE FIVE

This looks a tricky little contest to dissect with some good speed across the front line likely to make early positions keenly contested. Despite a sticky gate, SHEZ ALL STYLE (5) might just be the one here after a tough last start 3rd behind RAANI in sharp time. Working home from the 2nd line the start prior, she might just be the one.

WHICH HUNT (4) has been the runner-up in 2 of her past 3 starts and heads to The Creek for the first time this prep. 2m in arrears of DOCTA FEELGOOD last start from the pocket trail, she tried to take them all the way over the 1780m the start prior when unable to see it out. With even luck in transit, she is a challenging chance.

MAFFIOSO GIRL (2) was sent to the front here 3 starts back and after a second stanza breather was able to finish them off. Too tough last start in a Trot Rods heat, she can get forward here to feature.

FEEL THE THRILL (6) has been in some nice touch of late with a top-3 in 7 of his past 9 outings. Spearing out to lead from gate 5 last time, he was grabbed in the stretch, holding on for 3rd. He can be thereabouts once again.

SELECTIONS: SHEZ ALL STYLE (5), WHICH HUNT (4), MAFFIOSO GIRL (2), FEEL THE THRILL (6)
SUGGESTED BET: SHEZ ALL STYLE (5) to win

RACE SIX

MUMMYS BOY (2)
tackled the 4YO Triad last start from inside the 2nd line and the sticky gate soon had him buried in the run and his chances evaporated. Making a closing play the start prior when only a neck from the winner KANYE CRUSADER. From the gate he gets every chance to cash-in.

ANOTHER STATEMENT (7) will be tightened from his latest outing when resuming from a long spell and making his 1st appearance for his 4YO season. Settling rearward from the 2nd line, he was hitting the line in nice order when within 5m of the winner. The gate stings but he can be swooping.

BLUE MOON RISING (3) did not see the gaps here on Tuesday when needing space to offer as KATAMACH took them all the way. He can find a spot on the poles here and be probing late.

TEARAWAY DIAMOND (8) was not interested in any early speed battles last start and from gate 2 settled in the 1x1 trail. Trying to offer late when 4m from the winner, the 2nd line options here can see him find a spot to feature.

SELECTIONS: MUMMYS BOY (2), ANOTHER STATEMENT (7), BLUE MOON RISING (3), TEARAWAY DIAMOND (8)
SUGGESTED BET: MUMMYS BOY (2) to win

RACE SEVEN

ALBION ARK (2)
tackled a Trot Rods heat last start when he made a closing dive only to be edged out up the passing lane by YEP GOT CHOOKS. Buried in the run the start prior from inside the 2nd line, he has good speed out of the machine when allowed to stride and he gets a chance to dictate here.

MISTERY ROAD (1) will derive plenty of benefit from his latest outing when 2nd up from over 12 months off the scene. Starting in red figures, he was sent forward from the six-hole and rolling the sleeves was doing all the work when 3m from the winner MY ULTIMAT CLIPPA. From the gate he looms large.

OAXACAN DREAM (5) resumes from a spell and is now prepared by Leonard Cain. 2 from 2 here at The Creek from her Summer efforts, with a sound preparatory trial, she can feature fresh here.

LORD DIGBY (3) eased across from gate 6 last start to find the 1x1 trail and from there was able to grab the silver behind KING TRITON over the 2138m. Not too far away from ADAM CROCKER the start prior, he is in the mix.

SELECTIONS: ALBION ARK (2), MISTERY ROAD (1), OAXACAN DREAM (5), LORD DIGBY (3)
SUGGESTED BET: ALBION ARK (2) to win

RACE EIGHT

KANYE CRUSADER (9)
has been hitting some good areas in recent outings, with a top-3 in 5 of his past 6 appearances. Too tough for them from the breeze here 2 starts back where he defeated subsequent winner KATAMACH, he went under as a red figure fav last time at Redcliffe. With the right run he can bounce back.

EH EF EL (4) had been building up to a victory and last time out franked that assessment when scoring a slick win at the mile. Sent forward to find position in the early stages, he made the closing shot a winning one. Strong to the line the start prior over the 2138m, he can throw it down again.

HENRY HU (5) steps up marginally to what he has been meeting but will take some confidence from his last start victory to open his Qld account. Gritty in victory at Redcliffe, he can be joining in here.

MAJOR FERNCO (2) was returning from a break here 2 starts back when setting the tempo out in front. Despite a pedestrian second stanza, he was gunned down late, and then last start was not suited first over. From the gate he is in the mix.

SELECTIONS: KANYE CRUSADER (9), EH EF EL (4), HENRY HU (5), MAJOR FERNCO (2)
SUGGESTED BET: KANYE CRUSADER (9) to win

RACE NINE

He may have a 0 and 2 record here at The Creek, but KATACHA MAN (3) should find this easier than those previous 2 attempts where he tackled a qualifier on each occasion. Last start at Redcliffe he was working hard int eh run and was in for the fight when only 2m away. The distance suits and he get a chance.

FLIGHT CREW (4) makes her Queensland and Australian debut for Tony Turpin, arriving a two-time winner form seven attempts. From the South of NZ, she is a last start winner over 2400m back on February 7 and comes into this battle without a public trial to prepare. If forward enough in condition, she is up to the task.

COURAGEOUS SAM (5) tackled the Triad Consolation last start when landing the 2nd line. Making some solid metres wide on the track, he was not too far from the winner DYNAMIC DAN. Fitter for the outing where he was 1st up, he is in the mix.

ARK ME (10) was a winner in a mare’s qualifier here 2 starts back when finishing over the top of them from this same gate. Midfield behind BITCOIN last time, she can be trying to join in late here.

SELECTIONS: KATACHA MAN (3), FLIGHT CREW (4), COURAGEOUS SAM (5), ARK ME (10)
SUGGESTED BET:
