RACE ONE

A tricky race to open the night with the early speed hard to line-up. Fitter from his first-up effort last start when asked to sit parked, CATSEYE BEACH (2) moves to the front line for the best gate of his brief career. 3m from the winner RANCHO MAN with the smart return, he can strike from this gate.

NESTERS HILL (1) was second up from a spell at Marburg when proving too tough when sitting parked and holding on for a 2m victory. That was from gate 4 when pressing forward and with the tighter alley to use his early hustle, he has the option to throw down the challenge.

CHARLEVOIX (8) made the most of his early speed and a front-line gate last start to take them all the way in a new career PB rate. With the easy trip behind the action, he can chime in.

COURAGEOUS SAM (3) was a Redcliffe winner five runs back when second up this campaign, but nothing has gone his way since, including a string of wide gates. He can be sharper here.

SELECTIONS: CATSEYE BEACH (2), NESTERS HILL (1), CHARLEVOIX (8), COURAGEOUS SAM (3)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE TWO

Despite landing the wide gate, MISTERFREEZE (6) should appreciate a drop out of FFA company under these conditions. Back in the pack last start when trying to chase in BLACKSADANCE track record performance, he has been sectionally super in recent starts and can cash-in here.

LETS KATCHMEIFUCAN (5) resumes from a spell following three starts since joining the Dwyer stable where he struggled to show his best. With four trials in readiness for the return, the past two from the stand start, he profiles well in the conditions of this race to challenge fresh.

LOORIM CREEK (4) is a newcomer to Qld that joins the states premiership leading stable. Firing off the arm from gate 4 last start before taking a trail over the Menangle mile, he stays under watch.

BEE GEES BANDIT (7) has his own manners to blame for the wide gate after being stung with the ODM embargo two starts back. Strong to the line last start from back in the pack, he can rattle late.

SELECTIONS: MISTERFREEZE (6), LETS KATCHMEIFUCAN (5), LOORIM CREEK (4), BEE GEES BANDIT (7)
SUGGESTED BET: MISTERFREEZE (6) to win

RACE THREE

After two runs since crossing the Tasman LOUIE THE PUNTER (10) looks ready to strike. Last start from inside the second line, he was shuffled back to the rear, eased to the outside and then launched three-wide from the 800m. Only beaten a neck in a strong run, he can arrive here.

TREACHEROUS ONE (9) will be tightened further from his last start when second up in Qld. Eased from gate 5, he was making good metres in the closing stages wide off the track when 6m in arrears of the winner ROSARITO. Asked to sit parked when resuming, he is in the mix.

MACH BRILLIANCE (7) lands no favours from the outside paint here, but her recent efforts suggest she can still be a player in this. Closing strongly wide of the track last start for 3rd, she has claims.

FIREHOUSE (5) will take benefit from his return to the track last start when resuming from a spell. Finding the front early prior to releasing, he was just a half-neck in arrears and can feature again.

SELECTIONS: LOUIE THE PUNTER (10), TREACHEROUS ONE (9), MACH BRILLIANCE (7), FIREHOUSE (5)
SUGGESTED BET: LOUIE THE PUNTER (10) to win

RACE FOUR

Sent to the post in red figures last start from inside the second line, FLYING ART (1) was soon buried away and looking in need of some luck. With the field splitting at the 300m, he had the space to angle to the outside and charged home for a 7m margin. He has the options to go again.

ROSARITO (5) started from inside the second line last time out and settling with the cosy trip in behind the leader, owned superior closing speed when open space presented to take a 4m winning margin. Fitter again after two runs back from a spell, he can challenge.

GENERAL MONTANA (10) resumes from a spell here to step out for the first time in his 4YO term. With a pair of smart trials in readiness, he is given no favours from this alley first up.

ALTA REVELRY (4) has been runner-up at his past two starts, the latest when worried out of it by subsequent winner CLASSIE WASHINGTON. Grabbed by SPEAK THE TRUTH two starts back, he cannot be overlooked.

SELECTIONS: FLYING ART (1), ROSARITO (5), GENERAL MONTANA (10), ALTA REVELRY (4)
SUGGESTED BET: FLYING ART (1) to win

RACE FIVE

Taking on the APG Bullion Final last start, AMAMI (6) was stung with gate 7 and left with little choice but to ease to look for position. His closing effort was strong as he attacked the line to get within 2m of the winner TIMS A TROOPER. Again, copping a wide gate, he might just have enough class to arrive.

GOING GREAT GUNS (1) was taking his first look at headquarters this campaign when striking gear issues that ended his race prematurely last time out. Finishing 3rd two starts back when asked to sit parked, the first two over the line have both subsequently won and from this gate, he can throw it down.

ALWAYSBME (8) charged home over the top of them at Redcliffe two starts back to claim a handy win. Hitting the line strongly again last start after retreating from gate 7, with the cosy trip she can be ready to strike.

GOLDIES A DELIGHT (4) was returning from a let up two starts after contesting the NSW Oaks and starting deep into the red, fell in with an eyelash to spare. Never in the mix last start, she can look for a sharper effort here.

SELECTIONS: AMAMI (6), GOING GREAT GUNS (1), ALWAYSBME (8), GOLDIES A DELIGHT (4)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE SIX

The Cremin stable are hitting some nice arears this week and GLITTER STRIP (10) lines up here after holding on for the bronze last start behind CHARLEVOIX. Doing some early work from gate 5 to secure position in that contest, he didn’t see much space two starts back from inside the second line.

MI FURIOSO TORO (7) powered up in the early stages from gate 5 at Redcliffe two starts back to find the front and controlling it was able to cruise home an easy 8m winner. A beaten fav last start when sitting parked after going forward from gate 6, he will be up on the speed again here gripping on.

GO JO JOLT (1) fired out from gate 5 here last week to take control and from the front was only collared in the closing strides when beaten a neck. From this alley she is right in the fight.

SHEZALUCKYLADY (3) has placed at her past two in succession, the latest when retreating from gate 6 before picking up some late metres to grab 3rd. With an improved gate she can feature.

SELECTIONS: GLITTER STRIP (10), MI FURIOSO TORO (7), GO JO JOLT (1), SHEZALUCKYLADY (3)
SUGGESTED BET: GLITTER STRIP (10) to win

RACE EIGHT

Following on from successive victories at Redcliffe, SONNY ORLANDO (1) has face tricky draws in his two subsequent outings here at headquarters. Sent out as fav from inside the second line last start, he was angled away from the poles early to finish midfield. He secures his chance to capitalise.

SHEZ GOT BLING (8) was always facing a task last start from gate 7 in a mare’s qualifier and after easing to the rear, was then hard against the tempo. Not suited in a Trot Rods the start prior, she comes up with a preferred trip here in behind the speed and she can look to take the closing shot.

SHARP SHOOTER (7) made the most of his chances to lead them up last start when sent forward from gate 3 to take them all the way. His efforts of late have been good but he is stung from the 7.

LANCELOT BROMAC (10) was picking a few off in the latter stages last time out to grab 4th behind CHARLEVOIX. Redcliffe the start prior was not his go and with the right trail here, he can bob up.

SELECTIONS: SONNY ORLANDO (1), SHEZ GOT BLING (8), SHARP SHOOTER (7), LANCELOT BROMAC (10)
SUGGESTED BET: SONNY ORLANDO (1) to win

RACE NINE

The main players in this contest all look to be drawn wide or off the second line which opens the door of the contest. ALL THE FOURS (9) has a win sandwiched between two 2nd placings from his three Qld starts, his latest when charging late to get within a head of the winner. This is within reach.

GETALOADATHISBRO (7) has been unruly which necessitates the ODM embargo, but his recent numbers are good, having hit the board at his past five in succession. Second up from a spell here last week, he arrived over the top from this same alley and with this not much harder, he can repeat.

FEELGOOD EXPRESS (10) made a winning start to her Qld campaign when proving too gritty from the breeze at Redcliffe. Making a costly error last start, she can bounce back into the money.

COBBLER LANE (2) started form the second line at Marburg last time out and was trying to launch a closing raid that finished with a 2m 2nd placing. With early hustle from this alley, he can feature.

SELECTIONS: ALL THE FOURS (9), GETALOADATHISBRO (7), FEELGOOD EXPRESS (10), COBBLER LANE (2)
SUGGESTED BET: ALL THE FOURS (9) to win

RACE TEN

Appreciating a return to the front line in this grade of contest, MAJESTIC SPEED (3) can be safely away to find a forward position. Buried away from the 20m tape last start, she was picking up good closing metres to grab 3rd, beaten under 2m. This profiles ideally.

JANSSON (8) loves flying the tapes and finds the right front-line traffic from the 10m that he can be up in a prominent position with his normal getaway. Grabbing the bronze from the mobile last start when sticking to the inside, he will be throwing it down.

DO BALL (6) overcame a second line gate from the mobile two starts back, working around them early to get outside the leader and then pull clear to score. Runner-up to KAR MANOR last start, he is right in the fight.

REGAL APPOINTMENT (9) has been out of the money in two starts since claiming the G3 McNeil Final, the latest from the pocket trail in open company and only beaten 7m. The 20m is a concern.

SELECTIONS: MAJESTIC SPEED (3), JANSSON (8), DO BALL (6), REGAL APPOINTMENT (9)
SUGGESTED BET: MAJESTIC SPEED (3) to win
