RACE ONE

It is a big ask to score in Saturday night company at headquarters from outside the second line, but ROCK BOTTOM (12) might just be going well enough to achieve the feat. Taking them all the way two starts back, he was making a closing dive last start when 2m from the winner. Tempo will help.

SQUIRE (3) was required to work hard over the 2040m trip at Redcliffe two starts back and was still fighting to finish within 4m of the winner. 8m away last start from the running line with a slick closing tempo, he can get forward from this gate to throw down the challenge.

BEAU CISHLOM (2) should relish the improved alley after facing a run of wide gates owing to his starting manners. Eased from gate 6 to the poles last start, he was strong to the line and has claims.

BELLA BALL TERROR (11) was first up for the new barn last start when hemmed away on the poles from gate 1. Sticking to the inside to grab the bronze, he can be looking for a cart into the contest.

SELECTIONS: ROCK BOTTOM (12), SQUIRE (3), BEAU CISHLOM (2), BELLA BALL TERROR (11)
SUGGESTED BET: ROCK BOTTOM (12) to win

RACE TWO

Claiming a qualifying win three starts back from the pocket trail, THREE IN HEAVEN (3) followed it up with a tidy 3rd to INFATUATION. The form from his win has been franked with the next three over the line having all subsequently winning and with the chance to get forward, he is up to the task.

COURAGEOUS SAINT (9) started from gate 1 last time out and securing the perfect trip in behind the speed, could not reel in the leader ROCK BOTTOM. Attacking the line strongly the start prior from deep in the pack, he looks better suited making his challenge wider and can be swooping hard.

THE IDEAL DANCER (5) fired out from gate 6 here on Tuesday to take control and was trying to see it out. Unlucky to go under a half-neck, he was a big winner here three back and is in calculations here.

JUDDY DOUGLAS (10) has no favours from this alley, but he is in good form and can be out wide and winding up. Only 3m in arrears last start when wide, he can feature despite a tough trip looming.

SELECTIONS: THREE IN HEAVEN (3), COURAGEOUS SAINT (9), THE IDEAL DANCER (5), JUDDY DOUGLAS (10)
SUGGESTED BET: THREE IN HEAVEN (3) to win

RACE THREE

Knocking on the door to claim a qualifying victory, FALCONS (1) lands the alley to take his opportunity. Midfield last start when chasing as the race was controlled in front, he made a closing dive to be just a head away two starts back. Effective when saved for the stretch, he can strike.

GIVE ME A MINUTE (3) heads North for visiting trainer Aaron Goadsby after finishing as the beaten fav last start at Newcastle when grabbing 3rd behind LOUIS LITT. Claiming a country Series Final at Menangle five starts back, he has the early hustle to get across and issue the challenge.

IM JIMMY JAMES (8) is in search of a hat-trick of wins after wins at the mile and then the middle trip. Finishing over the top of them from gate 5 last time, he will be tucked away with the cosy trip.

AIR TIME (11) won here on Tuesday at the mile after easing from gate 5 to the pegs and owning superior closing speed to take the win. 8m from IT AINT THE MONEY the start prior, this may be easier than recent outings despite the gate.

SELECTIONS: FALCONS (1), GIVE ME A MINUTE (3), IM JIMMY JAMES (8), AIR TIME (11)
SUGGESTED BET: FALCONS (1) to win

RACE FOUR

Hitting the line strongly here last week after being hemmed away three back on the poles, NORTHVIEW HUSTLER (2) was able to grab the silver behind the new track record setting BLACKSADANCE. Just 3m in arrears, his own time also eclipsed the previous record and with an easy time in front looking imminent, he appears hard to stop.

TURN IT UP (8) has the options as the lone runner out the back but will likely be away from the poles in the early stages. Hitting the line sharply wider on the track last time to be 2m in arrears of the winner over the mile, he landed the knockout up the passing lane two starts back and looms large.

TOMMY LINCOLN (1) started from this gate last week in the track record performance by BLACKSADANCE where he was in the trail and held on to 4th. The poles are his friend here.

L L COOL J (6) was strong over the closing stages last time out and was the only runner to make metres wider on the track in a peg-heavy result. The gate hurts again but he is in the mix.

SELECTIONS: NORTHVIEW HUSTLER (2), TURN IT UP (8), TOMMY LINCOLN (1), L L COOL J (6)
SUGGESTED BET: NORTHVIEW HUSTLER (2) to win

RACE FIVE

Needing to overcome the outside second line, THE DARLING (10) is going well enough and strikes the right field to continue her strong form. With 5 wins and 5 minors from her 10 starts for the term, she was luckless here last week but still grabbed the bronze and can arrive in this line up.

PRINCESS DANICA (5) eased from gate 6 last time out to settle near the rear and then could not get warm in the closing stages. Buried in the run here two starts back, she faces a sticky alley but positioning cheaply will give her the chance to make a closing challenge.

DELIGHTFUL REASON (1) settled in the trail from this gate at Redcliffe on Wednesday night and with the last shot went within an eyelash behind the in-form FRANCO NANDOR. The gate helps again.

TORQUE ONETWOTHREE (2) claimed a mare’s qualifier two start back when securing the 1x1 trail and then owning the best closing speed. Buried last start, she might just set the speed here.

SELECTIONS: THE DARLING (10), PRINCESS DANICA (5), DELIGHTFUL REASON (1), TORQUE ONETWOTHREE (2)
SUGGESTED BET: THE DARLING (10) to win

RACE SIX

Making his race debut from gate 3 off the back of some impressive trials, FRANKIE FEROCIOUS (1) was never pushed in the early stages and given time to balance and secured the 1x1 trail. Easing wider, he found the line nicely under his own steam to take the win. He has all the options.

THE TAX CULLECTOR (4) was sent forward from the second line to sit parked two starts back and was in for the fight when just a head from the winner. Put on the engine last time from gate 2, he controlled the tempo to rip home a slippery 27.6 closing panel. The added experience is a big plus.

KERBANG (8) has a motor, but he also is yet to really switch on to what the racing game is all about. Eating up the ground in the stretch last week when 2m from MY ULTIMATE JACKO, it might just not be the gate he needs right now.

HOLD ON TO YA BLING (6) was a gritty 2nd on debut after sitting parked and holding on for the silver behind FRANKIE FEROCIOUS. Finishing best from the second line to score last start, he is in the mix.

SELECTIONS: FRANKIE FEROCIOUS (1), THE TAX CULLECTOR (4), KERBANG (8), HOLD ON TO YA BLING (6)
SUGGESTED BET: FRANKIE FEROCIOUS (1) to win

RACE SEVEN

GOTTA GO MILKING (9)
has returned from a spell in nice order, having hit the board in all five appearances. Pressing on from gate 6 last start, he took control and from the front was never in danger in setting a new career PB. He should trail through nicely here and be in a position to strike.

CLASS TO THE MAX (8) is certainly the class runner of this field but where he positions from inside the second line looks the query. A winner here five starts back, he has placed in each run since, the latest when 2m from TIMS A TROOPER in the APG Bullion Final. Finding space with track to play with is vital.

I AM SPARTA (2) holds the key to this race from the gate. In what has been an enigmatic season, he backs up from Thursday and from the front if the best version turns up, he can give cheek.

SO MUCH MORE (5) has been runner-up in 7 of his 12 career starts, including the past two in succession at Redcliffe. Backing up from a 2m margin on Wednesday behind HEY MISTER TAYLOR, he can be thereabouts.

SELECTIONS: GOTTA GO MILKING (9), CLASS TO THE MAX (8), I AM SPARTA (2), SO MUCH MORE (5)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE EIGHT

Tackling a race much tougher than this last start, TALENT TO SPARE (7) drew inside the second line but was soon put into the contest and asked to do the heavy lifting sitting parked. Fading after the tough trip to finish at the rear, her first up run was smart and back to mares only, can defy the gate.

CLOWNS TO THE LEFT (8) was having just her 2nd start since arriving with Shane Graham here last week when she was sent forward from gate 6 to take control and from the front was able to hold on for the win at big odds. With the likelihood of the cosy trip, she can be probing to challenge.

GIRLS ARE BEST (9) arrives in Qld with the travelling Rickie Alchin team where she will be second up from a spell. Sent out over the Menangle mile as favourite when resuming and finishing 2nd, she cannot be underestimated.

BONNIES A ROCKIN (1) has the advantage of the inside alley here and that opens up the opportunity to finish in the money. Only 4m from the winner BLAZE COOPS last start, she is in the mix.

SELECTIONS: TALENT TO SPARE (7), CLOWNS TO THE LEFT (8), GIRLS ARE BEST (9), BONNIES A ROCKIN (1)
SUGGESTED BET: TALENT TO SPARE (7) to win

RACE NINE

Required to tackle the FFA last week and slammed with the outside second line at the mile CRUNCH TIME (4) was still able to reel off 54.19 for his own closing 800m when chasing BLACKSADANCE. Not suited at the 2270m in his previous two starts at Wagga, back to this grade, he can bounce back.

STREITKID (5) weas sent straight to the front over the mile two starts back and keeping them rolling was able to see it out for a 1.52 flat mile. Not suited off the second line last start, he loves to roll in front and taking a good shot here can throw down the challenge.

BITCOIN (7) is absolutely flying, and despite being stung with gate 7, can still feature. Following the pegs home last week to grab a placing in the new track record, a return to this grade should suit.

ANOTHER STATEMENT (9) was asked to roll the sleeves and do it the tough way last time and responded strongly to claim a 3m margin. Closing strongly the start prior, he has place claims.

SELECTIONS: CRUNCH TIME (4), STREITKID (5), BITCOIN (7), ANOTHER STATEMENT (9)
SUGGESTED BET: CRUNCH TIME (4) to win

RACE TEN

Despite needing to overcome the second line, LOVE YOUR WORK (9) looks to have the required class edge to achieve the feat. Pouncing on the lead in the ‘boys’ heat to pull clear for a dominating 21m winning margin, his run two starts back was game and put into the contest, he can cash-in.

AUNTY BELLA (4) was a on a three-day back-up in the mares heat for this final with a trip from the NSW Riverina to Brisbane achieved in the three days. Eased from the barrier to settle rearward in the small field, she hit the line in nice style to grab 2nd behind JASPER. She can challenge.

GIRL FORM OZ (2) looked to have found an opportunity last week in a mare’s qualifier from this same gate but repelled for the lamp lighting duties was forced to park out the entirety. She can fire some early bullets here.

DANCINTOTHEBEAT (3) eased from gate 4 last week to take a soft trip on the poles before charging home in the closing stages to be just a half-neck from the winner. She can be attacking late again.

SELECTIONS: LOVE YOUR WORK (9), AUNTY BELLA (4), GIRL FORM OZ (2), DANCINTOTHEBEAT (3)
SUGGESTED BET: LOVE YOUR WORK (9) to win

RACE ELEVEN

A return to the front tape and securing an ideal trip in behind the speed can be the catalyst for KINGDOM COME (2) to return to winning form. From the 30m tape last week, he settled back against the poles before finding the line in nice style to be just 3m in arrears of the winner. This profiles ideally.

STRESS FACTOR (1) had been threatening that he would return a sharper effort and last week was able to realise that after stepping cleanly to take control. Keeping an even tempo out in front, he fought off the challengers to claim a 1m winning margin over this same trip. The confidence will be a plus.

GARLAND GREENE (9) will need to overcome the back mark, but the smaller field will certainly assist that issue. Closing out strongly last start when 5m from VAN SANK to grab 2nd, he is in the mix.

JUSTABITNOISY (4) had the 40m tape to negotiate last week and settling back in the pack was picking a few off late to be just 7m from the winner. Starting on equal terms with last week’s winner with a 40m swing, he is right in this.

SELECTIONS: KINGDOM COME (2), STRESS FACTOR (1), GARLAND GREENE (9), JUSTABITNOISY (4)
SUGGESTED BET: KINGDOM COME (2) to win
