RACE ONE

A beaten fav at both career starts to date, THREE ONE FOUR (10) might just appreciate the wider expanses on offer here at The Creek. Sent to sit parked last start at Redcliffe from the second line, she was never entirely comfortable in holding on for 2nd. With the right trip she can capitalise.

BETONBETTY (4) is moving closer to breaking the maiden tag after placing at her past three in succession. Finding the pocket trail last start she took a shot up the passing lane when finishing 3m in arrears of AUNTY KAREN. Gunned down when holding 3rd two starts back, she is right in this.

TONYS SECRET (5) will strip fitter from her first up outing where she was resuming from over two years off the scene. Setting the speed when collared late, she has podium claims here.

EMMALEEN (6) takes her first look at The Creek after all her career starts have been at Redcliffe. Closing out soundly behind EYEDUNNO last time out, the wide gate does her no favours.

SELECTIONS: THREE ONE FOUR (10), BETONBETTY (4), TONYS SECRET (5), EMMALEEN (6)
SUGGESTED BET: THREE ONE FOUR (10) to win

RACE TWO

FLIRTS DIVA (6) makes her first appearance since October where she broke the maiden tag at her fourth career start. Now prepared by Chloe Butler, her two trials at Redcliffe in readiness for the return have been sharp and despite the wide gate, can make a winning return.

DIEGO DELGADO (2) started from outside the front line here last week and was slowly away to settle back in the pack and with an even tempo in front set by the leader and winner BATMAN BART, could not get into contest. Not far away the start prior, the improved gate is a big help to his chances.

JELIGNITE JACK (8) eased from gate 4 last time out to settle rearward before making some nice metres in the closing stages to grab the silver. With 2nd line options he can be joining in.

MERGE RIGHT (7) was resuming from a spell when tackling a slightly stronger contest than she faces here last time out. Down the line on that occasion, the added fitness can aid her chances.

SELECTIONS: FLIRTS DIVA (6), DIEGO DELGADO (2), JELIGNITE JACK (8), MERGE RIGHT (7)
SUGGESTED BET: FLIRTS DIVA (6) to win

RACE THREE

With a solitary win against her name in 46 appearances here at The Creek, CALL ME TRISH (1) might have found the conditions to add another. Making some late ground to grab 3rd last start over the Redcliffe 1780m, gate 5 was her undoing two starts back. The gate gives her every chance to cash in.

ITS SUPER EASY (8) started from a wide gate last start at Redcliffe and with the leader and winner RAANI putting them away from the front end, it was a task for those back in the pack. Asked to hang tough when parked the start prior, he lands the second line options to challenge.

ALTANA BLUE (7) has no favours from the outside paint but does strike the right opposition to be prominent. Closing out in nice order to grab 2nd last start, he is in the mix again here.

MOUNT HERCULES (6) lands in Qld to join the Jack Butler stable and arrives a five-time winner. Given a break since his last appearance when down the line at Penrith, he has podium claims fresh.

SELECTIONS: CALL ME TRISH (1), ITS SUPER EASY (8), ALTANA BLUE (7), MOUNT HERCULES (6)
SUGGESTED BET: CALL ME TRISH (1) to win

RACE FOUR

SHEZALUCKYLADY (9)
started from this gate last time and after pressing through to settle in the 1x1 trail, could not go on with it in the closing stages. Making some good metres in the closing stages two starts back when 4m from the winner, she can look to end a 12-month win drought.

LEFT IN THE WIND (6) was a winner from the second line at Redcliffe two starts back when settling in the running line before powering home over the top. An error ended her chances last week when finishing down the line and despite a potentially tough gate, can be looking to make a challenge.

IM A SHY GUY (2) has had two Redcliffe starts since arriving in Qld and started from the second line in both. Chasing behind CIRCLE LINE last time, he can be close enough to feature.

WILD ABOUT TOWN (1) set the speed from this same ally over this trip last week but could not finish then off when gripping on for the bronze. On the speed he can again be thereabouts.

SELECTIONS: SHEZALUCKYLADY (9), LEFT IN THE WIND (6), IM A SHY GUY (2), WILD ABOUT TOWN (1)
SUGGESTED BET: SHEZALUCKYLADY (9) to win

RACE FIVE

Despite gaining the ticket back into the main draw last time out, RAANI (7) cops the outside paint again here. Making light work of gate 6 at Redcliffe last time when shanghaied off the arm to take control and lead throughout, she can get forward again here to stake her winning claim.

GOING GREAT GUNS (8) will appreciate a return to the mile and back to this opponent grade after tackling the Breeders Classic last start where gate 7 made it even tougher behind SPEAK THE TRUTH. Grabbed in the closing strides here two starts back, he has the early options to issue a challenge.

OUTA THE BLUE (6) resumes from a spell and has returned to Qld to join the Jack Butler stable. With three steady trials to prepare, her Vic form last campaign was against some top-line customers.

ROYAL PRINCESS (4) was a Redcliffe winner three starts back when settling in the 1x1 trail before finishing hard to claim a half-head margin. Runner-up last start, she is yet to cash in here at HQ.

SELECTIONS: RAANI (7), GOING GREAT GUNS (8), OUTA THE BLUE (6), ROYAL PRINCESS (4)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE SIX

Taking further benefit from his latest offering where he was second up from a spell, MY ULTIMATE BONDI (7) can look to defy the gate. Asked to graft it out when resuming as the race favourite from gate 3 and holding on for the bronze, an error proved costly last start and he can look to atone.

MONTEREY JACK (8) has been in nice touch in recent appearances, finishing in the money at his past three in succession. Best of the chasers behind the big winner MI FURIOSO TORO last start, he was 2m in arrears the start prior when sent out as the punters elect. From this alley he will be probing.

GO JO JOLT (1) started from inside the 2nd line last start and was soon buried in the run and never saw open space when midfield to BATMAN BART. A beaten fav here two starts back, the gate helps.

FOR NO REASON (3) settled back in the pack last start from gate 10 and was making some nice metres in the closing stages to grab the silver. A winner here three starts back, she is in the mix.

SELECTIONS: MY ULTIMATE BONDI (7), MONTEREY JACK (8), GO JO JOLT (1), FOR NO REASON (3)
SUGGESTED BET: MY ULTIMATE BONDI (7) to win

RACE EIGHT

Off the back of an eye-catching trial, TEAGAN BANNER (6) was sent to the Marburg Show first up where he claimed a win from a 20m impost under standing start conditions. First up at Redcliffe, he was under 5m from the airborne SUMOMENTSOMEWHERE and despite a tricky gate looks up to this.

CATCH PHRASE (1) tackled a mare’s qualifier last start and from gate 4 was gifted the pocket trail when a galloping runner opened the pack up. Doing the rest once in the perfect position to claim a narrow victory, she should secure the perfect trip to issue a closing challenge.

MAJOR GENERALJUJON (10) started from this same alley last time when wide off the track trying to launch a closing raid. 6m from the winner two starts back, he can be chiming in here.

MUMMYS BOY (5) fired out from gate 4 last time out and taking control was able to lead throughout and claim a 5m margin. Runner-up the start prior, he had been building towards the win and kept fresh is in the mix.

SELECTIONS: TEAGAN BANNER (6), CATCH PHRASE (1), MAJOR GENERALJUJON (10), MUMMYS BOY (5)
SUGGESTED BET: TEAGAN BANNER (6) to win

RACE NINE

Winless here at The Creek, KATACHA MAN (5) has been in nice touch at Redcliffe in recent outings, returning a win and 5 minors from his past 7 outings. Making some closing ground last start over the 2040m after starting from the second line and grabbing the silver, he can make a closing play here.

ROCKSLIDE (2) was obliged to sit parked last start and after the tough trip was unable to go on with it in the closing stages. Rearward the start prior in a strong qualifier claimed by MANILA PLAYBOY, he can be close enough to the action to throw down the challenge.

FIRE AND ICE (8) weaved a passage home here last week to claim a smart win after the field was busted open down the back stretch. Runner-up in both prior starts, he will be probing again here.

BLISSFULDAY (1) was sent to the post as the fav here last week when making his first appearance back in Qld but was crossed early and then carted back through the pack when the leader capitulated. He can make a play.

SELECTIONS: KATACHA MAN (5), ROCKSLIDE (2), FIRE AND ICE (8), BLISSFULDAY (1)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-2-5-8
