Form Analysis: Marburg May 29

27 May 2022

RACE ONE

JILLIBY GIZMO (7) was asked to do it the tough way last time out when rolling forward from gate 5 to sit parked over the AP mile and fighting on to be 2m shy of the winner TORQUE TOTHE MAX. Placed at his past four in succession, he finds the right conditions to land a breakthrough.

MUSTANG DUDE (2) is still chasing his first win this season after placing in 3 of his 11 attempts. Not too far from the winner last start over the AP mile, he will be better suited here on the smaller deck and with his early speed can be close enough to the action to challenge.

DARBY BRIGHTS (8) was sent forward from gate 9 to sit parked last time out over the Redcliffe sprint trip and was fighting hard to hold on for the silver. With the right trip she can again be chiming in.

COBBLER LANE (9) was runner-up from the second line here two starts back where he was attacking the line to be under 2m from the winner. Grabbing a 3rd here four runs back, he is in the mix.

SELECTIONS: JILLIBY GIZMO (7), MUSTANG DUDE (2), DARBY BRIGHTS (8), COBBLER LANE (9)
SUGGESTED BET: JILLIBY GIZMO (7) to win

RACE TWO

LITTLEDEE (7) started from outside the second line at Redcliffe two starts back where she was wide off the track but was too strong over the closing stages when pulling clear to claim an 8m margin. Beaten in a small field last start, she can get into the contest to make her play.

JOY MAKER (8) started from inside the second line last start at Redcliffe where she was soon buried back on the poles. Sticking to the inside, she was able to dart through and claim a narrow victory. Only 7m in arrears from outside the second line here three starts back, she can issue the challenge.

LIVING FREE (3) was repelled for a forward position last start and forced to ease back to find a spot. With a 50% top-3 strike rate on this deck after 41 attempts, he can chime in again.

PRIVATE JUJON (4) could not get warm last start after being buried in the run over the Redcliffe sprint trip. With even luck in transit, he can bring up career start 200 finishing in the money.

SELECTIONS: LITTLEDEE (7), JOY MAKER (8), LIVING FREE (3), PRIVATE JUJON (4)
SUGGESTED BET: LITTLEDEE (7) to win

RACE THREE

MAJORDOIT (4)
started from gate 6 over the 2138m last time out where he eased to the rear to find position. Wide off the track on the way home, his individual splits were sharp despite finishing down the line. His record here is good and despite the tricky gate can arrive for the prize.

SO KOOL MASTER (1) made the most of gate 1 over the mile at headquarters two starts back when keeping them wide and taking them all the way in sharp time. Collared in the last stride last start over the 2040m, he has the gate to throw it down once again.

ARTFUL MAID (3) is still chasing her first win here at Marburg where she has placed in 4 of her 6 attempts. Sound to the line last start from the pegs when midfield behind ITS MR CLOONEY, this is within reach.

SELECTIONS: MAJORDOIT (4), SO KOOL MASTER (1), ARTFUL MAID (3)
SUGGESTED BET: MAJORDOIT (4) to win

RACE FOUR

GETALOADATHISBRO (9)
will need to negotiate the tough gate but has been doing a top job from the wide gates in recent outings. There were excuses last start and two starts back he was just 3m in arrears of the winner. Cashing in three starts back when arriving, he can descend on them here.

TALEGGIO (2) rolled the sleeves to do the work last start at Redcliffe and was sound to the line at his first run for the Gordon stable. With handy Tamworth form prior to the barn switch, he lands the gate to be close enough to make a challenge.

MY ULTIMATE HESTON (7) showed some early hustle from the middle of the line last start but could not get warm from the 1x1 trail. Pressing through to find position he is a podium chance.

AURORA ROSE (3) was a Redcliffe winner five runs back when slicing between runner to arrive for victory by a head. Down the line at her past three starts, this looks more suitable.

SELECTIONS: GETALOADATHISBRO (9), TALEGGIO (2), MY ULTIMATE HESTON (7), AURORA ROSE (3)
SUGGESTED BET: GETALOADATHISBRO (9) to win

RACE FIVE

KOTARE ELITE (1) has placed just once in 4 attempts on this deck but comes up with the gate and opponents to look to add a victory to the card. Pressing on from gate 4 last start, she could not finish it off. Just 5m away when holding on for 3rd three starts back, she can burrow through to dictate.

BUKTHYSTEM (8) was sent forward from the second line last start and after the tough run was best of the rest behind the big winner MOTU CULLEN. Grabbing 3rd two starts back, he can come with one run here to make a closing challenge.

CIRCLE LINE (2) was a deserved winner last start after doing it the tough way first over and grafting out a determined victory. He might just need to do it the tough way again here.

MY SECRET BEACH (3) broke a long-standing win drought two starts back when finishing best to claim a narrow Redcliffe victory. Holding on for 3rd last start, positioning cheaply will aid his cause.

SELECTIONS: KOTARE ELITE (1), BUKTHYSTEM (8), CIRCLE LINE (2), MY SECRET BEACH (3)
SUGGESTED BET: KOTARE ELITE (1) to win

RACE SIX

VOODOO FELLA (7)
has 2 wins and 2 minors from his 6 attempts here at the Little M and has been on a streak of bad gates. Snagged back from wide off the front line at Redcliffe last start when midfield, he was locked away from inside the second line last start. This looks within reach.

AMUSED (1) will strip fitter from his latest outing where he was resuming from a spell. Striking trouble in the run over the 2030m at Newcastle, it was a tidy effort to hold on to 4th. Down the line on this track at his last run before being sent for a break, he has the gate to make the challenge.

WESTERN SHOWGIRL (5) eased from a wide gate last time out on The Triangle before powering home over the top to score. The gate stings again here but she has podium claims.

OCEAN LANE (2) resumes from a spell and has not been sighted in a public trial in readiness for the return. Last seen when working hard before fading behind GLENLEDI COMMANDER, she will take benefit from the run.

SELECTIONS: VOODOO FELLA (7), AMUSED (1), WESTERN SHOWGIRL (5), OCEAN LANE (2)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE SEVEN

ROCKNROLL DA GAMA (7)
stuck to the inside at headquarters on Thursday and punching home along the poles went within a half-head of landing the prize. Finishing over the top of them at Redcliffe three starts back, he can look to swoop over the top of them here.

MELTON INSULTED (2) has a super record on this deck with 4 wins in her 6 outings, the latest coming here two starts back when firing off from this alley to lead and take them all the way. Buried from inside the second line last start, she can be in the firing line to throw it down here.

BAILEYS WITH LEGS (3) was building towards a win after three successive placings and capitalised when taking them all the way two starts back. Runner-up again last time, she can feature in this.

OLIVER WINKLE (8) was sent out as the favourite last start and forced to do it the tough way first over, finishing 6m in arrears of the winner. With the right trip he can chime in here.

SELECTIONS: ROCKNROLL DA GAMA (7), MELTON INSULTED (2), BAILEYS WITH LEGS (3), OLIVER WINKLE (8)
SUGGESTED BET: ROCKNROLL DA GAMA (7) to win

RACE EIGHT

STUDLEIGH WILL (1)
will take further benefit from his latest outing where he was second up from a spell. Working overtime in the run wide off the track, he faded in the closing stages. Asked to sit parked when resuming, he can burrow through and lighting the lamps will be much better suited.

MY ULTIMATE LOUIE (9) has been in nice touch with placings at his past two starts, the latest when closing in nice order behind WESTERN SHOWGIRL to grab the silver. Working home from back in the pack the starts prior, with the right cart into the contest, he can be making a challenge.

HEARTBREAK (6) sat parked on Thursday outside the leader and was game in defeat. A tough winner over the Redcliffe sprint trip two starts back, she will be probing for the openings.

NESTERS HILL (3) did it the tough way here three starts back from gate 4, grinding out a tough victory when parked. Not too far away behind CATSEYE BEACH at his next start, he has claims here.

SELECTIONS: STUDLEIGH WILL (1), MY ULTIMATE LOUIE (9), HEARTBREAK (6), NESTERS HILL (3)
SUGGESTED BET: STUDLEIGH WILL (1) to win
