RACE ONE

AUNTY KAREN (7) made her race debut two starts back over this trip from gate 5 where she was having a good look and still showing he has a bit to learn. Second up last time when wide early to press to the breeze, she went under a half-neck. In a wide-open maiden, she can arrive.

THE WHISTLER (4) started from inside the second line last start and was soon buried in the run before finding a late gap to grab the bronze behind SAMMYS SECRET. Eased off the inside at Marburg two starts back when under 2m from the winner, she has challenging claims.

LOOKAT MEE (6) has placed at her past two starts as she moves closer to breaking the maiden tag. Runner-up from the pocket trail last start, she has no favours from the tough alley.

FAKE CULLECTION (8) is a 2YO taking on the older performers after finishing down the line against her own age last start when on debut. Working hard on that occasion, the added experience helps.

SELECTIONS: AUNTY KAREN (7), THE WHISTLER (4), LOOKAT MEE (6), FAKE CULLECTION (8)
SUGGESTED BET: AUNTY KAREN (7) to win

RACE TWO

ROCCO VARIETY (6) has to negotiate the outside paint but might just have found the right set up to claim his first win on this deck. Snagged back from this alley two starts back before attacking the line strongly wide off the track to be a head from the winner, this looks within reach.

MOLLIDOR (7) will be relying on some factors in her favour from this alley but with the economical trip she should secure will be ready in the stretch. Asked to do it tough last start when sitting parked from gate 4, it followed a down the line effort when buried in transit. She will be probing.

WRITEABOUTCHELSEA (3) should take some added benefit from her latest outing where she was second up from a break. Positioned in the 1x1 trail, she could not get warm late and can improve.

ALLY PINK (1) has missed the money in these type of races at her past five despite having this same gate in four of those. Collared in front last time, she has the options again to feature.

SELECTIONS: ROCCO VARIETY (6), MOLLIDOR (7), WRITEABOUTCHELSEA (3), ALLY PINK (1)
SUGGESTED BET: ROCCO VARIETY (6) to win

RACE THREE

REMEMBER EVE (4)
made a winning start to her Qld campaign here last time out when pressing on to take control from gate 2 and then pull clear for a big 20m winning margin. Fitter for that run where she was second up, she can get forward to go back-to-back.

GHOST GUM (7) started from this same gate last time out and holding the pocket trail finished midfield. Runner-up at Marburg the start prior when looking to take them all the way, he will be buried in the run here but can be probing to make a closing challenge.

OUR EDUARDO DENARIO (8) grabbed a 3rd in the Trot Rods two starts back and then last time faced this same alley when down the line behind CHASIN DREAMZ. He can be sharper here.

MUSTANG DUDE (2) has early hustle and from this gate can look to be first out of the machine. Finding the front before releasing last start when holding 3rd, similar tactics can net a similar return.

SELECTIONS: REMEMBER EVE (4), GHOST GUM (7), OUR EDUARDO DENARIO (8), MUSTANG DUDE (2)
SUGGESTED BET: REMEMBER EVE (4) to win

RACE FOUR

DIEGO DELGADO (4)
was an eye-catcher last start when hitting the line smartly from back in the pack to be under 3m from the winner ROCKNROLL DA GAMA. Asked to hang tough when cutting the breeze, the start prior, there looks the right tempo for him to arrive.

EAGLES RESPONSE (1) was sent out deep into the red last start from gate 3 where she eventually worked to the front but was then unable to put them away and faded over the closing stages. Huge in defeat the start prior when making a costly error before grabbing 2nd, the gate is a huge plus.

IM A CLASSY GIRL (3) has been super consistent with placings in four of her past five outings. Buried in the run last start, she attacked the line to grab 2nd when just 3m away and has claims again.

FLASH FREDDIE (7) is a last start winner when opening his account with an all the way victory from gate 2. Making some closing metres to grab the bronze two starts back, he can be probing again.

SELECTIONS: DIEGO DELGADO (4), EAGLES RESPONSE (1), IM A CLASSY GIRL (3), FLASH FREDDIE (7)
SUGGESTED BET: DIEGO DELGADO (4) to win

RACE FIVE

I AM SPARTA (4) tackled the APG Final on Saturday night where he positioned in the 1x1 trail and was solid to the line when 5m from the winner TIMS A TROOPER. Not suited in the prelude of that Series when sitting parked, he can zip across them and from the front dictate.

RAANI (2) should appreciate a return to the main draw after being on the unruly in recent outings where she was still able to win. Sent forward from the outside paint for that victory, she can be first to the pegs from this alley and then secure the trip to make the closing challenge.

HIGH ON MONTANA (5) is in search of the hat-trick after successive wins at this track and trip. Too tough them last start when sitting parked, he has claims for the threepeat.

ETERNAL GOLD (6) made a mess of the start last time out and cops the ODM embargo which makes his task much tougher. Going back-to-back in his first two Qld starts, he is in the mix.

SELECTIONS: I AM SPARTA (4), RAANI (2), HIGH ON MONTANA (5), ETERNAL GOLD (6)
SUGGESTED BET: I AM SPARTA (4) to win

RACE SIX

ZARAS A TREASURE (7)
showed good speed off the arm last start too find the front and once in control was able to dictate the tempo to bring them home a smart last 800m with 6m to pare on the wire. A winner at two of her past three, she will be locked away and just needs the momentum.

MARIANNA BROMAC (1) is on the back-up from Tuesday where she took on a much tougher and experienced line-up than what she faces here. Grabbing 3rd over the AP mile two starts back when hemmed away ono the poles, she has the early hustle to call on and can challenge in this.

SUZUKEE (4) was too strong for them here two starts back when sitting parked and the pulling clear to post a widening 19m winning margin. 3rd last start when sent forward, she is in the mix again.

VOODOO FELLA (5) has the tricky gate to negotiate here after three runs back from a spell. A passing lane 3rd when closing out nicely last start, with even luck he has podium claims.

SELECTIONS: ZARAS A TREASURE (7), MARIANNA BROMAC (1), SUZUKEE (4), VOODOO FELLA (5)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-2-4-5

RACE SEVEN

FLO RYDA (5)
has been sectionally strong in recent starts, the latest when using the passing lane to charge late and grab the silver when 4m from the winner over the AP mile. 6m from ROCK BOTTOM the start prior in a much stronger veteran’s event, he has a good record here on The Triangle.

OYSTER STRIDE (3) has placed in three of his past five starts, the latest when looking to take them all the way over this trip. Running even panels in front, he was collared in the closing stages as BRIAN CHRISTOPHER arrived. Settling close to the action once again, he can make a play.

FIRE AND ICE (2) eased to the poles from the second line last start and did not have the smoothest run-in transit. Wide off the track the start prior, he can get to the fence and give a sight in this.

BEJIGGITY (1) faces a rise to tackle far more experienced campaigners for this contest but comes up with the gate to feature. Finishing over the top last start, she can be tucked away for one run here.

SELECTIONS: FLO RYDA (5), OYSTER STRIDE (3), FIRE AND ICE (2), BEJIGGITY (1)
SUGGESTED BET: FLO RYDA (5) to win

RACE EIGHT

MISTER HART (1)
is in search of a hat-trick of victories after successive wins here on The Triangle, both over the same trip he will tackle here. Sent to the front from gate 4 last time, he controlled it in front to bring them home in a 57-closing half to take a 4m victory. The gate puts the threepeat in reach.

LIFES BLACK (5) eased into the 1x1 trail last start from gate 4 before making a late play for 2nd behind the comfortable winner SPEAK WITH SAM. Luckless the start prior when searching for gaps that never arrived, he can build off the last start to make a challenge here.

BRIAN CHRISTOPHER (3) was having his fourth run back from a spell last time out when retreating from gate 5 to settle at the rear. Strong over the closing stages to take the prize, he can settle closer in this to feature.

VANITY BAY (8) is first up in Qld for the Dixon stable, arriving with two placings from hi past three at Menangle. Beaten a lip three starts back, he can trail through early to feature.

SELECTIONS: MISTER HART (1), LIFES BLACK (5), BRIAN CHRISTOPHER (3), VANITY BAY (8)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE NINE

ILLAWONG DREAMTIME (7)
is still hunting his first win of the season, which appears to be getting closer after placings in four of hi past five starts. Unable to finish them off when setting the speed last start over the 1780m, he was grafting it out when parked two back. He can snipe here.

JOHNROD (2) is as dour as they come and last start just kept grinding wide off the track to hold on for the silver, albeit 20m from the winner. Too tough here two starts back when sitting parked, he will likely be rolling the sleeves again here to throw down the challenge.

DATSINAHURRI (1) was out in front last start from gate 2 and after a steady opening half was unable to put them away when fading to be 8m in arrears. She can be gripping on again here.

PURPLE SHADES (9) has been returning some handy efforts of late, the latest when hemmed away from inside the second line. With the right trail early, he can be making a podium play.

SELECTIONS: ILLAWONG DREAMTIME (7), JOHNROD (2), DATSINAHURRI (1), PURPLE SHADES (9)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-2-7-9

RACE TEN

METAKI MAJIC (3)
is still a Qld maiden but might just have found the right conditions to claim the breakthrough. Placed at her first two runs back this campaign, she resumed when just a half-neck from the winner before gate 9 stung second up. With early bullets, she can grab this.

THE MAHARANI (1) was sent forward from gate 4 last time out and did some early work before finding cover in the 1x1 trail to finish 10m in arrears of HIGH ON MONTANA. With her best gate for some time, she can get the economical trip behind the action to make her challenge.

HEARTBREAK (6) has the ODM embargo after an error two starts back at Marburg that ended her chances. Strong to the line from this gate last start from deep in the pack, she can chime in.

FAIREACHDAINN (7) was looking to make it four successive wins last start when holding up from gate 1 and looking to dictate. A sub 28 third panel was her undoing when finishing 8m in arrears. A soft trip here will suit.

SELECTIONS: METAKI MAJIC (3), THE MAHARANI (1), HEARTBREAK (6), FAIREACHDAINN (7)
SUGGESTED BET: METAKI MAJIC (3) to win
