RACE ONE

OUR BOY BOBBY (2) has placed at his past three starts and has good speed off the arm when asked for it. Just a head in arrears of the winner LAVAZZA last start after settling in the 1x1 trail and making a closing dive, he can fire out and gets a chance to break a win drought.

RAANI (6) has been doing plenty wrong of late but was able to fire out from gate 6 to take them all the way here three starts back. A costly error last start lands her on the ODM embargo but she might be able to find the right position to throw down the closing challenge.

IMA BEACH BABE (3) has 3 wins in her past 5 starts, including a last start win over the 1780m here when finding the pocket trail and finishing best to score. She will be having an early crack.

SELECTIONS: OUR BOY BOBBY (2), RAANI (6), IMA BEACH BABE (3)
SUGGESTED BET: OUR BOY BOBBY (2) to win

RACE TWO

FAIREACHDAINN (1) put a blot on her form page here two starts back when setting the speed from gate 1 but unable to see it out. That is her only defeat at her past five starts and she bounced back last start up the passing lane. With the speed to keep them wide, this format should be ideal.

SHADYS DELGHT (6) is 1 from 1 in this format but cops the outside paint which makes it a tough ask. Luckless last start when needing a gap sooner than it arrived, he was charging home two runs back when just a half-neck from the winner and despite the gate, look for him issuing a challenge.

ALI DOWNUNDER (4) was snagged back over the AP mile last start and from back in the pack was then always facing a task. Beaten a head here two starts back when nabbed in the last strides, he is in the mix.

SELECTIONS: FAIREACHDAINN (1), SHADYS DELGHT (6), ALI DOWNUNDER (4)
SUGGESTED BET: FAIREACHDAINN (1) to win

RACE THREE

BAKER CREEK (2)
eased from gate 5 last start and was soon back in the pack and chasing in vain as the impressive CLASSIE WASHINGTON claimed victory over the AP 2138m. Midfield the start prior when hemmed away from inside the second line, the improved gate can be the catalyst for success.

SO AM I (9) was back to mobile conditions last start when searching for a hat-trick of wins and looking to dictate was 4m from the winner SAGINAW in holding 2nd. Sweeping the Marburg Goldstrike Series, he faces a tricky gate here, but this still appears within reach.

LA SAFRON (7) is never far from the action and has the right gate to be probing again. Runner-up last start from the pocket trail, he will be ready when the gaps present.

KATACHA MAN (6) has been in the money at 4 of his past 5, the latest when locked away from inside the second line. Powering over the top to score here two back, he can be chiming in.

SUGGESTED BET: BAKER CREEK (2) to win

RACE FOUR

SUZUKEE (1)
eased into the running line from gate 4 last start and when finally seeing a gap made a closing raid to be just a half-head in arrears of the winner. Too strong when pulling clear for a big win here three starts back, this is tougher but offset by the gate she can arrive.

ARNOLD STREET (4) was sent to the post as favourite last start in a Trot Rods heat where he had to settle for 2nd behind SIR BULSKI. Grabbed in the closing stages by KATACHA MAN two starts back when trying to take them all the way, he can be handy enough to throw down the challenge.

IMA BIRUBI BOY (7) has hit the board at his past three in succession and although needing a slice of luck here where he looks likely to be buried three back, he can be slicing through late.

HIGH ON MONTANA (5) has been hitting some good areas, his latest when holding on for 3rd after not getting the cleanest run. Shooting for a hat-trick of win in that event, he can feature here.

SELECTIONS: SUZUKEE (1), ARNOLD STREET (4), IMA BIRUBI BOY (7), HIGH ON MONTANA (5)
SUGGESTED BET: SUZUKEE (1) to win

RACE FIVE

SCHOOBY (5) hit a career peak last start when scoring his third win in succession to stretch his recent numbers to 5 wins from his past 7 outings. Doing it the tough way last time, he was sent forward from the second line the start prior. In his current form the quartet is achievable.

CHASIN DREAMZ (8) settled in the 1x1 trail last start from gate 2 and was trying to make a closing play when grabbing the silver behind SCHOOBY. Too strong here two starts back, the second line makes it tough, but she can be issuing a challenge.

ELPINE SALLY (9) is the latest of the NSW pilgrims to arrive for a Winter campaign, her latest start when buried in the run at Parkes. With the right trail she is a podium hope.

OUR EDUARDO DENARIO (7) will be buried away here but if he can spot the openings, can be making a closing play. Grabbing 3rd in 2 of his past 3 starts, he will be probing.

HARLEY BLUE (8)
tackled the APG 3YO Bullion Final last start and was left exposed. Easing forward after sitting off the leader, she was strong to the line over the closing stages to hold on for the silver when under 5m from the winner CAT KING COLE. With even luck, she can strike.

COPY WRITER (1) started from this same alley two starts back and struck a much tougher contest when not too far from the winner MISTER HART. Beaten by the outside second line at Marburg last start, back to this grade from this alley, she can issue the challenge.

CASH QUEEN (4) has now had three runs back from a spell and been showing good improvement at each outing. Working home in good order to be 6m away last start, she can make a play.

DIEGO DELGADO (3) was sent to sit parked last start and after the tough trip was within 7m of the winner. Closing out in nice style the start prior, he can be making a play here.

SUGGESTED BET: HARLEY BLUE (8) to win

MY ULTIMATE BONDI (5) will trip fitter from his last start where he was resuming form a spell and asked to grind it out when parked over the sprint trip. Never shirking the task, he was game to hold 3rd as BEJIGGITY landed the swooping win. The gate hurts but he can throw it down again.

ROBERTS DELIGHT (4) was a red figure fav last start from gate 1 where he opted for cover and was 9m in arrears of the winner MIDNIGHT SOMEWHERE. Settling handy he can feature.

METAKI MAJIC (8) was trying to take them all the way last start and led deep into the stretch, only to be collared in the closing stages. With a cart into the contest, she can be thereabouts.

SUGGESTED BET: FEELS LIKA BOSS (1) to win

LEFT IN THE WIND (2) was a winner at the 947m Trot Rods format three starts back and followed that with a 3rd over this trip when parked. Last start she landed outside the second line and with the improved gate, she can find the front and lighting the lamp will take some catching.

POM PAY (5) has plenty of experience in the Western Districts of NSW as she makes her first Qld Winter sojourn. Not too far from the winner at Parkes last time out, she can be joining in.

ILLAWONG DREAMTIME (9) has placed at his past 4 in succession, the latest when holding on for 3rd after settling in the trail from inside the second line. With the right trip he can be in the mix.

RACE NINE

L L COOL J (7)
brings the right profile to extend his record here at the Peninsula. From the 10m he looks well positioned and can offer a win over this trip under these conditions when claiming the Redcliffe Cup last season. His recent runs have been meritorious without return and he lands his chance to bounce back into winning form.

STAR GALLERIA (6) has some tidy numbers from the tapes and is 2 from 3 on this deck as he faces the 10m impost for this assignment. A beaten fav last start when trailing the field home, he took them all the way here three starts back over the sprint trip and can make a challenge in this.

FEELINGFORARAINBOW (4) has placed in both attempts from the tapes and has a tidy record here on The Triangle. Buried in the run last start from gate 5 over the mobile 2138m, he can chime in.

SUGGESTED BET: L L COOL J (7) to win

EMMALEEN (4) has placed in 2 of her past 4 starts where she has faced the second line on all 4 occasions. From inside the second line last start, she was angled off the pegs to avoid a pocket but could not warm up late and with the chance to settle forward can make a play.

SUGGESTED BET: THREE ONE FOUR (5) to win

RACE ELEVEN

WATERLINE (6)
shoed the early hustle to take control at headquarters last start and form the front was never in danger in scoring an effortless 3m victory. That had followed a handy 2nd on debut behind subsequent feature winner THE TAX CULLECTOR and despite the wide gate, her class can shine.

IMA MIDNIGHT REBEL (2) found the pocket trail last start and chased hard to hold on for 3rd as EXCITING TIMES scored an easy victory. Beaten by the second line over the AP mile the start prior when finding them a little too slippery. From this gate she can be close enough to challenge.
