Racing Queensland confirms that following the recent deluge of rainfall in South East Queensland, the Ipswich Turf Club race meeting on Thursday, May 26, has been rescheduled to Sunday, May 29.
The decision has been made on the basis that the racing surface at the venue has already received massive volumes of rainfall over the past 7-10 days and the forecast is for a continuation of inclement weather over the next 24 hours.
The same race fields have been retained.
Trainers should also note that following the meeting’s rescheduling there will be no fees applicable to withdrawals and scratchings, irrespective of the time when they were transacted.
