ANN MATTGREGOR (1) claimed a Gold Pot heat at AP 4 starts back when going straight to the front from gate 2 and taking them all the way. Luckless in the final when striking trouble she has faced wide gates at her next 2. Back to the good alley she can look to dictate and take them all the way.

FAKEROCKNROLL (5) is on the back-up from Tues where he returned a sound effort from gate 4 behind NEWPORT DREAMZ. He fought hard from the breeze 2 starts back and sent forward to get into the contest can throw down a challenge in this.

MALONE (2) was solid from the breeze over the AP mile 3 back when fighting hard and finishing 4m from the winner TAP IT IN. Forget his past 2 where he has been put out of play, he can feature.

VINNIE THE POET (4) was too far back trying to make ground against the tempo last start and couldn’t get into the contest. His run 2 starts back was a tidy effort and from the gate can place.

RACE THREE

PACIFIC DRUMS (9) is on the back-up from Tues where he was able to land an overdue win after finishing runner-up in 4 of his previous 6 starts. Landing barriers to lead them up at his past 3 starts, he returns to the 2^nd row here but in this field looks to get every chance to capitalise.

HUNTER RED (10) started from the 2^nd line here over the 1780m 2 starts back and worked home strongly wide off the track to score. That followed a tidy 6m margin behind JUST ROKIN. Forget his last run at Marburg when making an error, he can find the podium here.

NON PASSARE (7) will be hoping some factors go his way in the run from this gate. Beaten 4m and then 6m when on the fence his past 3 have not suited and with the cosy trip here can chime in.

JUST TOMMY (1) makes his 1^st appearance in Qld for Darrel Graham and will be having just his 2^nd race start, 14 months after his 1^st. He trialled in good order here and from the gate can place.

RACE FOUR

SKYFELLA CAM (10) was runner-up in successive starts over the sprint trip including a solid effort when facing the breeze outside the smart all the way winner COREY WILLIAM who ran home in slick fractions. Buried in the run last start he never had a clean shot and despite a tough gate can bounce back.

THE BOYS GNP (8) was a real eye-catcher at his Qld debut when making a late charge from a long way back to get within 3m of the winner BLAZING VC. Another 2^nd followed from gate 5 and then last start he capitalised when sent to the breeze and proving too strong. He will be right in this.

OASIS DREAM (3) will take benefit from his latest start when resuming from a break. Working in the run his condition gave out. Winless in over 12 months, this is his easiest task for some time and he has claims.

KEY LARGO (7) will need plenty of luck in the run from a tricky gate but if able to sight a gap can chime in here. Shuffled too far back last start in a race dictated from the front he just needs a gap.

RACE FIVE

BONNIE JUJON (1) lands her best gate for some time and with limited pressure drawn to her outside can look to dictate. Strong from the breeze at Marburg 4 starts back to score she was too far back here 2 starts back when COREY WILLIAM controlled from the front. This looks hers to take.

WILLSINTOWN (7) will be the immediate danger to BONNIE JUJON and will stalk her every step of the way and be coiled and ready for the snipers shot. In great touch including wins at 2 of his past 3, the latest of those coming when scooting the passing lane in good style. He will be closing hard.

WERELIVINGTHEDREAM (8) is in search of the hat-trick after successive wins at the 1780m trip. Taking them all the way in both wins, she will have early options to look for the pegs and can place.

LOORIM LAD (5) will be tightened from his latest run when 2^nd up from a break. Looking to dictate from gate 1 he was grabbed in the closing stages over the 2040m to be 4m from the winner. He has exotic hopes again here.

RACE SIX

ARBIT MAJOR (5) faces a tricky gate here but is racing in good touch and is knocking on the door. Runner-up at his past 3 in succession he was buried away on the pegs last start and hit the line strongly in the closing stages. With some good early speed he can look to work home over the top.

TASCOTT LADY (3) worked in the breeze at Marburg 2 starts back and fought gamely to the line to be 2m from the winner. Not suited when chasing from the 2^nd line last start she gets the chance to look to fire across to the pegs and from the front can give some cheek in this.

SUBTLE ADVICE (9) claimed the bronze at AP 3 starts back from the pocket trail behind COREY WILLIAM. Buried in the run at his past 2 starts he can be working home in good order in this.

CHEYENNE WARRIOR (2) hasn’t been suited at his past 3 starts from wide and 2^nd line gates. Assess his chances on a tidy 3^rd behind FARRAHFOWLER at AP 4 starts back and taking an early shot can feature.

BROADWATER (2) was working hard in the breeze over the long 2280m trip here 2 starts back and was strong to the line when 4m from the winner. Last start when back to the 1780m he was closing out hard from the running line to get within a neck of the winner and he can be too tough here.

ARTFUL MAID (7) returned a nice effort 4 starts back when only 2m from MAYWYNS COURAGE. Her 3 runs since that outing have been below her best but with the cosy trip here behind the likely leader she will be coiled and ready to take the closing shot.

IFOUNDTHEBEACH (8) was strong from the breeze when 2^nd to YKIKAFIL at Armidale 2 starts back and beaten 1.5m. Chasing gamely last start, she will be better suited here and can podium.

HAMMERHOFF (1) worked too hard last start in trying to protect the inside from this same gate and faded off. With the speed to lead them up he will be gripping on in the stretch.

RACE EIGHT

IM TOOT (4) rolled forward from this same gate last start and forced his way to the front. Keeping an even tempo over the 1780m trip he was grabbed in the closing stages and had to settle for the silver. He can get forward again here and if able to pinch a panel will take some catching.

CHEYENNE AUTUMN (3) makes her 1^st appearance in Qld for Narissa McMullen and arrives off a last start fade out at Mildura. Assess her chances on her previous 2 starts when claiming the bronze in successive Mildura outings. With good early speed she can make her presence felt.

LETHAL PROMISE (5) ran another honest race last start to stretch his placed sequence even further. Working hard in the run he was best of the rest behind MAMMALS MAGIC and won’t be far away again here.

SNAKES N LADDERS (2) was buried in the run last start from inside the 2^nd line and made good closing ground to grab the bronze behind WILLSINTOWN. He can be swooping late again here.

ONE MANS PASS (5) continues to race in consistent form and has put together 8 successive top 3 finishes with 3 wins in the stretch. Forced to face the breeze from gate 2 last start he was in for the fight when only 1.5m from the winner MISTER HART. With even luck in transit he can add a victory.

READILY (1) lands his best gate for some time and will get the chance to capitalise. A tidy Armidale winner from gate 6 over the 2360m trip 4 starts back, he has been too far back in the run when trying to launch a bid at his next 3. With the options he can go close.

IMA TOP TYCOON (7) was locked away on the pegs last start and was sound to the line when looking for an opening when PADRISIMO stormed home wide out to score. Sighting an opening here he can feature.

JAX NAVARO (2) will be tightened from his latest start when 2^nd up off a let-up. Chasing hard he finished mid-field from gate 4. He can have a look with his early speed and is in the mix.
