RACE TWO

MIRACLESDOAPPEN (2) was forced to work in the breeze last start which didn’t suit and after the tough run she faded out. Only grabbed in the closing stages by BLAZING VC here 3 starts back, she can make the most of the inside gate with her early speed and will be looking to dictate.

VANTO HANOVER (7) found the front from gate 2 here 2 starts back and was looking to take them all the way over the 1780m trip. Setting an even speed she couldn’t see it out. Meeting tougher company last start she fought hard from the breeze and with the cosy trip here will be ready to take the snipers shot.

FARRAHFOWLER (8) held the pocket trail from inside the 2nd line last start and was charging to get within a head of the winner LIVING GRAND. With a good closing sprint she can look for the pegs early and with the shortcuts be finishing hard.

LETHAL PROMISE (3) was working home wide out last start and found the line in good order to be 6m from the winner OUR PEPPERJACK. Never far from the action he can do the work and be fighting hard here.

SELECTIONS: MIRACLESDOAPPEN (2), VANTO HANOVER (7), FARRAHFOWLER (8), LETHAL PROMISE (3)
SUGGESTED BET: MIRACLESDOAPPEN (2) to win

RACE THREE

CC JONES (4) has been costly of late and last start at Marburg from the 2nd line followed through at the start to settle in the breeze. Looming up to test the leader at the 250m he went off-stride and lost his chance. Off the 2nd line at his past 3 in succession, this looks to be his chance.

ARK TEAMO (2) rolled forward to the breeze from gate 6 over this trip 2 starts back and after working hard in the run was far too strong in scoring an easy 4m victory. Finding the pocket trail last start behind NEWPORT DREAMZ she was best of the chasing bunch and is a big danger here.

CLASSYTOFF (1) was too slick from gate 4 here over this trip 2 starts back when sent straight to the front and taking control held on to score by a head. Dropping out last start after settling in the pocket trail, she will be better suited in front and can give a sight in this.

ALWAYS AT NIGHT (8) doesn’t have the best of numbers next to his name but has been facing some tough gates in recent starts. From this alley he can follow through early and return a sharper effort.

SELECTIONS: CC JONES (4), ARK TEAMO (2), CLASSYTOFF (1), ALWAYS AT NIGHT (8)
SUGGESTED BET: CC JONES / ARK TEAMO (2 / 4) quinella

RACE FOUR

GUNRNEEDABIGRBOAT (8)
will be 1st up in Qld for Alan Donohoe kicking off his 4YO term. Last seen in a 3YO event at Shepparton in May, when 3rd to the smart mare DIXIROSALIE, the entire comes into this race without a public trial. Meeting some handy performers in recent starts, if he can bring that form he will take some stopping in this.

MYBELLA ROSE (1) will take further benefit from her latest start when 2nd up off a break and after featuring in a stable switch. From the 2nd line at Marburg last start she was hitting the line in good style to get within a half-head of the winner. With the improved gate she can challenge.

KIWI SOLDIER (3) added another placing to his tally last start to make it 4 placed runs in succession. Dropped to the pegs from the 2nd line he worked home in good order for the bornze behind ACT OF VALOR. He has podium claims again.

ARCH EMPRESS (7) looked to take them all the way over the 2040m trip here 3 starts back when grabbed in the closing stages. Forget her past 2 from tough gates and striking trouble, she can be sharper from this alley.

SELECTIONS: GUNRNEEDABIGRBOAT (8), MYBELLA ROSE (1), KIWI SOLDIER (3), ARCH EMPRESS (7)
SUGGESTED BET: GUNRNEEDABIGRBOAT (8) to win

RACE FIVE

JACKS AT THE BEACH (5) has the wide gate to negotiate but he should appreciate moving to a front line gate where he can press forward. Buried in the run from the 2nd line last start he was never a factor behind PACIFIC DRUMS. Grabbed in the closing stages in a qualifier 3 starts back he can prove too strong.

TAP IT IN (4) pressed ahead to the front here 2 starts back and went down swinging when a 1m 2nd to the in-form REAL KNUCKY. Trying to work home from back in the pack last start he went under as the fav when 9m from the winner. With the right luck in transit he can be in the mix.

ITSMEGS (7) will need her share of luck from the gate but if able to sight a gap in time can look to be running on late. She attacked the line strongly last start behind GOT THE GOODS and was only 3m away 3 starts back. Just needs some space.

COLOMBIAN GOLD (6) has the wide gate to overcome but with even luck in transit can chime in. An all the way winner 2 starts back she was only 3.5m from the winner TASSINI last start. Place hopes.

SELECTIONS: JACKS AT THE BEACH (5), TAP IT IN (4), ITSMEGS (7), COLOMBIAN GOLD (6)
SUGGESTED BET:
JACKS AT THE BEACH (5) to win

RACE SIX

VANDE VELDE (6)
was 1st up off a freshen and starting from gate 10 when starting the fav here 2 starts back. Given plenty of time to settle he came with one run and finished over the top to score a nice win. His run on Sat night was full of merit from this gate when 7m from RICH VIRGIN and he can arrive for this.

CIRCLE LINE (2) has faced some tough gates at his past few starts and been well beaten in the process. Not suited off the 2nd line at Marburg last time out, he lands a good alley here and has the speed to look for the pegs. With the improved gate he can look to turn his fortunes around.

SMILING ARMADA (7) should enjoy a nice trip form this alley and can look to get away from the pegs early if needed. His last start at Marburg was solid when making good ground and he can place.

JACKS GAMBIT (3) fought on gamely from the breeze last start at he non-TAB meeting here when beaten 1m behind HUNTER RED. Gunned down in the closing stages 3 starts back, this is tougher yet he can chime into the exotics.

SELECTIONS: VANDE VELDE (6), CIRCLE LINE (2), SMILING ARMADA (7), JACKS GAMBIT (3)
SUGGESTED BET: VANDE VELDE (6) to win
