RACE TWO

COLOMBIAN GOLD (1) put the writing on the wall at Marburg at her 1^st Qld start with a strong run to get within a neck of the winner. That was franked when last start over the 1780m trip she pressed onto the pegs from gate 4 and then was never in danger in a 12m victory. This is a step-up but she will be fitter and can dictate.

TASSINI (8) was after the hat-trick when landing gate 9 and running home in good style from back in the pack when 6m from JUST ROKIN. Working in the breeze last start he dug in for the fight when 2^nd to PACIFIC DRUMS. Finding good early position he will be right in the fight again here.

THE BOYS GNP (6) shoots for the hat-trick after successive wins at the 1780m trip. The 1^st win was a tough effort and then last start was charging home from the back to claim victory. He can podium.

OASIS DREAM (2) will strip fitter from his latest start when 2^nd up from a break and working hard in the breeze when only 2m from THE BOYS GNP. From the improved gate he will be in the mix.

RACE THREE

ARBIT MAJOR (1) has been runner-up at his past 4 in succession and landing his best gate in some time can capitalise. Last start from gate 5 he was sent forward to the breeze and was in for the fight when beaten 3m. Sprinting hard along the passing lane 2 back, he has the options and gets his chance here.

IM TOOT (2) cut the breeze last start and went down fighting as a red figure fav when 5m from the winner SAMMARI. Sent to the front over the 1780m here 2 starts back he set a solid tempo when claimed in the closing stages. With a top 3 finish in 4 of 5 starts at Redcliffe he can go close again.

WILLSINTOWN (9) has been racing consistently with a top 3 finish in 7 of 8 starts this season, including 2 wins. He found the line nicely last start and will be looking to swoop home late.

ONLY ONE PROMISE (8) will strip fitter from his latest start when 1^st up for his 4YO term and following a stable switch. He worked home well behind NOVENA ROSE and can challenge here.

RACE FOUR

WRITEABOUTCHELSEA (1) was a strong winner at Marburg 2 starts back when working around them mid-race to get to the breeze and going home too well. Not suite here on the triangle from tough gates her past 2, she will make the most of the ace here and gets her chance to dictate.

SNAKES N LADDERS (7) was buried away on the pegs here 2 starts back and was hitting the line in good style to grab the bronze. He worked home well again last start and looking to hold the pocket trail will stalk the leader and be ready to take the closing shot.

MODERN THOUGHT (8) was a long way back last start when trying to make ground in the closing stages. Only beaten a nose here 3 starts back, the pegs might be a good place to be in this race.

CHEYENNE WARRIOR (9) settled in the pocket trail last start and ran home soundly to finish in the top 4 behind SUBTLE ADVICE. He can chime into the exotics again here with the right run.

RACE FIVE

TOOK YOUR TIME (5) broke 57 for his closing 800m here 2 starts back which is slick going when finishing 5m from the winner OHOKA SQUIRE. Looking to work home in the closing stages last start he couldn’t pick them up. Despite a wide gate he should find this easier and can breakthrough.

GOOD BOY OLIVER (2) was taken back from gate 6 last start and settling a long way back in the pack was sound to the line when 11m from the winner BROADWATER. That followed 2^nd line gates at his previous 2 starts and with the improved alley can look to be an improver.

ONE TO TANGO (1) was buried away on the pegs here 2 starts back and found the line in good order to be 4m from the winner. She found them a bit slippery last start and with a penchant for the pegs can be ready to strike late.

MISTER FANTANGLES (7) resumes from a break and will get the cosy trip from inside the 2^nd line. His form tapered last prep and with the right gate for a 1^st up run can chime into the exotics.

Taken back to find the pegs from gate 4 last start the effort was good and sliding in behind the likely leader here can look to make the closing shot a winning one.

BETTOR BE LUCKY (1) will strip fitter for his return from a break last start and having his 1^st start after featuring in a stable switch. Taken back from gate 4 when 1^st up he couldn’t work into the contest in the closing stages. With good early speed he can protect the pegs and look to dictate.

MANDY KRIDEN (6) found some hot form that included a hat-trick of victories followed by successive 2^nd place runs when beaten a half-neck and 2m. Look for her swooping home in the closing stages.

RACE SEVEN

ACT OF VALOR (1) will be fitter again from his latest start when 2^nd up off a break. Runner-up at both return runs when starting from the 2^nd line in each, he found NEWPORT DREAMZ too slick 1^st up and then was best of the rest when chasing behind IMPETUOSO. From the gate he can go all the way.

MY MAGIC MERLIN (4) had placed in 4 successive starts including a charging finish when going under a half-head behind PHOTOZEN. Taken back from gate 5 last start he struck trouble in the run that ended his chances. He can ask the questions here.

KIWI SOLDIER (8) has had his runs spaced and been runner-up at his past 3 with the latest a sound effort when leading them up and grabbed late by FOR TONY. He has podium claims again.

KYLIE BROMAC (9) returned from a spell in fine fettle and from gate 2 started fav and finished best to score. She doesn’t get any favours from this gate but tightened from the run is in the mix.

RACE EIGHT

ASTRAL RULER (4) was strong from the breeze here 3 starts back and went down fighting when 4.5m from the winner DAENERYS STORMBORN. Last start over the 2280m stand trip he finished over the top to score a solid win. With a great record and from the mobile and at Redcliffe he can prevail.

DAENERYS STORMBORN (5) also has a superb record around the triangle, winning 5 and claiming 2^nd twice in 7 appearances. Fitter again following her latest start when 2^nd up from a break, she has won both starts this campaign including a mobile win over this trip 2 starts back. She is a big threat.

REDRIVERDEBBA (3) worked hard in the breeze last start over the 2280m trip and was fading late to finish 4^th. Still looking to break her Redcliffe maiden she won’t be far away again here.

MISTER OZ (7) is the sole 2^nd line runner so can look to get away from the pegs early if need be. He was hitting the line in good order last start from a 40m tape and has claims again here.
