RACE TWO

SIR JULIAN (1) is never far from the action and comes up with all the aces from this gate. Angled to the pegs last start to go luck hunting, he was all out of it behind the mighty impressive ISLAND BANNER. Effective when saved for the last shot, he will be dressed and ready to dance in the stretch.

KETUT (8) may have been down the line last start, but that doesn’t highlight the ground he made late. Needing luck in transit with his closing power, he was attacking the line strongly behind CLASSIE AMERICAN. Runner-up his previous 2, if settling close enough he will come into contention.

MARK OF INTEGRITY (7) set the tempo over the 2280m last start and after a close to even opening half ramped the tempo, only to be collared late. With a softer trip on offer he will be probing.

WHATS THE CATCH (2) descended late to score a qualifying win last week and make it 2 from 4 since arriving in the North. With the speed to fire off the arm, he can lead them up and be gripping on.

SELECTIONS: SIR JULIAN (1), KETUT (8), MARK OF INTEGRITY (7), WHATS THE CATCH (2)
SUGGESTED BET: SIR JULIAN (1) to win

RACE THREE

ALWAYS IN COMMAND (5) was brutal last week in putting them away from gate 6 to score a qualifying victory. That made it 4 successive wins here on the triangle and he should be tightened from the run after being 2nd up. He loves getting forward and throwing it down and can do it again.

CHAPTER ONE (2) is fast off the arm and can look to spear out early here to take control. Grabbed in the stretch last start after leading them up over the 2040m, he was only 2m from the passing lane winner CLASSIE AMERICAN. Back to the sprint trip suits and he will be fighting all the way.

HEZ RAZOR SHARP (1) held the pocket trail from inside the 2nd line last start but as ISLAND BANNER put them to the sword, he was never going to feature. With the soft run again, he can probe late.

JUMPING JOLT (7) will be relying on some luck in the run from this alley, but with the chance this race becomes peg-dominant, he will be in the right position. He closed well last start and can again.

SELECTIONS: ALWAYS IN COMMAND (5), CHAPTER ONE (2), HEZ RAZOR SHARP (1), JUMPING JOLT (7)
SUGGESTED BET: ALWAYS IN COMMAND (5) to win

RACE FOUR

GOALKICKER (1)
shoots for a hat-trick of victories here on the triangle where she has 6 wins and 3 2nds to her credit in 15 outings. Claiming a non-TAB victory here on Tues when finishing best in a smart closing 800m, she can make the most of the gate and look to see them off.

SENORA RAPIDO (10) is afforded no favours from this gate at her 1st look at the track. Pressing forward from gate 5 to apply the heat in the run last start over the AP mile, she was fighting hard to claim the silver when 6m from the winner JUSTALITTLE TORQUE. This is easier and she is the threat.

ARTFUL MAID (9) worked forward from the 2nd line to find the front over the 2200m Marburg trip last start and once in control ripped home a sizzling last half to score. With the right cart into this, she can be in the mix.

MATRON JUJON (5) was in for the fight last start when pressing ahead from gate 6 to get within a neck of the prize behind MADAME LEZA. Never far from the action, she can be thereabouts here.

SELECTIONS: GOALKICKER (1), SENORA RAPIDO (10), ARTFUL MAID (9), MATRON JUJON (5)
SUGGESTED BET: GOALKICKER (1) to win

RACE FIVE

CASINO TOMMY (1) returned a huge run last time when doing plenty of work in the middle stages and chasing hard to hold on for 3rd behind ZAHVEN BANNER in the 2nd fastest mile ever recorded at Albion Park. Not too far away the start prior, he lands the plum draw and can look to capitalise.

DREAM TO SHARE (10) has been a revelation since arriving in Qld and aims up for a hat-trick of victories and to make it wins in 5 of his past 7. Swooping home strongly to score from gate 6 here last week, running some smart panels in the process, he can be descending on them late again here.

CLARKEY (7) started from gate 1 last time out and was soon buried 3 back against the poles and was always facing a task as SAMS THE MASTER carved out a new track record in front. Look for him sniping along the lane here.

CLINTAL DO (4) will be fitter following his return to the track last time out. 1st up over the Marburg Marathon, it was a nice effort in closing strongly from a long way back. He is right in the fight here.

SELECTIONS: CASINO TOMMY (1), DREAM TO SHARE (10), CLARKEY (7), CLINTAL DO (4)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-4-7-10

RACE SIX

SMOOTH SHOWGIRL (1) will take great benefit from her latest outing where she was returning from a spell. Settling a long way back from gate 11 in a mares event, she really hit the line in fine style to be within 6m of the winner in some classy closing splits. With the peg-line benefits here, she will have the options and with that advantage to call upon, she looks set to capitalise.

MAKOA (4) led them up last week from gate 1 over this trip and after walking the opening 800m of the last mile, was put to the sword by a dominant ISLAND BANNER. Still managing to fight the rest of the pack off to hold the silver, he can look to get forward here and can throw down a challenge.

CHANGE OF MIND (3) makes a stable switch to line up under the tutelage of Nathan Dawson. 1 from 1 here at Redcliffe and possessing good speed off the arm, he can fire the 1st shot in this.

THE SHADY ONE (6) has no favours from the car-park but the smaller field and what looks a genuine tempo will give him the chance to swoop late. Forget his last start, he can be thereabouts here.

SELECTIONS: SMOOTH SHOWGIRL (1), MAKOA (4), CHANGE OF MIND (3), THE SHADY ONE (6)
SUGGESTED BET: SMOOTH SHOWGIRL (1) to win

RACE SEVEN

CHARMING MAJOR (1) started from gate 5 last time out when snagging back in the early stages before hitting the line strongly in the closing stages to grab the bronze behind WHATS THE CATCH. With the speed to take control, if he can pinch a panel in front, he might just be able to see it out.

SEEUINNASHVILLE (4) made a successful start to a Qld campaign when finishing best to claim the prize in a conditioned event, putting them away late after setting back off a sharp tempo. Fitter for the run following 3 runs back from a break, if he can handle the triangle, he will be in the fight.

RECIPE FOR DREAMING (7) is a consistent performer that added another win to his tally last start when sent to the breeze from the 2nd line and proved too strong. With the perfect trip he can strike.

FLYING WINGARD (8) is racing well of late without things really working in his favour. Buried on the poles from an inside 2nd line gate last start, he attacked the line hard when the gaps opened. He won’t be too far away.

SELECTIONS: CHARMING MAJOR (1), SEEUINNASHVILLE (4), RECIPE FOR DREAMING (7), FLYING WINGARD (8)
SUGGESTED BET: CHARMING MAJOR (1) to win

RACE EIGHT

IM MAJOR HARRY (2) looked to have found his race last start and was sent to the post the ruling favourite accordingly. Finding the front over the sprint trip, he was able to get a good lungful of air through the 2nd panel, but couldn’t see it out. Will this be his Waterloo or will he rise in victory.

RAFFERTY DELIGHTS (1) has placed in 3 of his past 4 appearances, the latest coming at the Tues non-TAB meeting. Back in the pack from gate 3, he was weaving a passage that saw him back in the passing lane and finishing 3m from the winner. Effective on the pegs, look for him sniping the lane.

BANGKOK BRAVADO (8) is 3 from 4 here on the triangle and from the gate should be able to get a nice early trail. Fitter following 1 run back from a break when hitting the line nicely, he can feature.

RANFURLY RULZ (4) has claimed the silver at his past 2 in succession, the latest from the pocket trail when running the dictating winner SIR MACADOR to 4m. This is no harder and he has podium claims.

SELECTIONS: IM MAJOR HARRY (2), RAFFERTY DELIGHTS (1), BANGKOK BRAVADO (8), RANFURLY RULZ (4)
SUGGESTED BET: IM MAJOR HARRY (2) to win

RACE NINE

QUIETLY SPOKEN (2) has good speed off the arm and from the good gate will get the opportunity to fire the early shot. Carted back through the field last week when the leader hoisted the white flag, a line can be put right through that run. The AP track mobile track record holder over the sprint trip, she can take this.

ALS LAW (1) started fav over eh mobile 2040m trip last time out when making an error and finishing 7m from the winner BLACK VALLEY. A winner from the trail 3 starts back, he was the close up to CLOVER MAC at his next start. With the good alley he can be in the finish.

MAYBETOTHEMAX (7) will need a slice of luck from this gate but if the gaps should open, he will be ready to sprint. A smart winner last start when putting them away from a 30m tape, he can go close.

CLOVER MAC (6) loomed strongly last week despite the tough run in the breeze before making an error as he turned for home. Leading throughout the start prior, he can look for atonement here.

SELECTIONS: QUIETLY SPOKEN (2), ALS LAW (1), MAYBETOTHEMAX (7), CLOVER MAC (6)
SUGGESTED BET: QUIETLY SPOKEN (2) to win
