RACE TWO

CASINO TOMMY (2) was returning from a spell here last week when landing the 2nd line over the 2138m trip. Pressing through early, he was waved on by to take control. Keeping the speed on all the way, his condition gave out but was only 1.5m away. Fitter and back to the front line he can dictate.

SABRAGE (10) comes up with a tough 2nd line gate once again, having been no closer than gate 7 his past 10 in succession. Closing in good order last start when 6m from JONAH JONES, he will be looking to join in late.

JONAH JONES (7) is looking to complete a hat-trick of victories in the same company. Sent forward from this gate last week to find the front prior to releasing then taking his shot up the passing lane. It will be tougher this time, but he is in great touch.

LITTLE CHANGE (8) was a smart winner at Redcliffe earlier in the week when doing all the work and pulling clear to a 10m victory in a strong win. Likely buried away, he will be probing for the gaps to offer.

SELECTIONS: CASINO TOMMY (2), SABRAGE (10), JONAH JONES (7), LITTLE CHANGE (8)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE THREE

IDEAL WORLD (1) had the hoof on the ‘till leading into last week’s assignment after finishing the runner-up on successive occasions. Grabbed in the last stride 2 starts back, he was able to get to the front and securing a 2nd panel breather held on for the win last time. From the gate, they will be chasing.

COURAGEOUS SAINT (8) is on the back-up from Thursday night where he looked to have a solid chance. Buried from this gate 2 starts back he was not helped when not having the smoothest passage. Gate 6 was his undoing the start prior but this time, he can be ready to snipe late.

TACTICAL RESPONSE (7) settled back in the pack last start and was strong in the closing stages to grab 3rd as the race became a last panel blitz. He can do plenty wrong, but if getting it right, he can feature again.

CARDLESFROMHEAVEN (9) faced gate 7 last start and retreating early was then chiming in late when not that far from the winner in a strong last panel. Closing strongly the start prior, the fence looks a good play here.

SELECTIONS: IDEAL WORLD (1), COURAGEOUS SAINT (8), TAACTICAL RESPONSE (7), CARDLESFROMHEAVEN (9)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-7-8-9

RACE FOUR

Returning from a let-up here last week, PARAVANI (1) was 1st to the pegs before taking the trail. From the pocket he chased hard to keep 2nd behind the dictating winner IDEAL WORLD. Within 3m of the winner 2 starts back, he will have the early options again here and looks set to take his chance.

NURBURGRING (6) has been in super touch since arriving with Steve Borg and last start proved too strong again in scoring over the 2138m. That win made it 4 successive wins where he has been able to get forward to flex his muscle. The wide gate stings somewhat, but if limiting the burn to get forward, he will be throwing it down hard.

KINGOFTHESTARS (9) claimed a qualifying win here last week to make it 3 wins in his past 4 starts to go with a close 2nd to the in-form JONAH JONES. Tough in a slick mile last time, he can be joining in.

CAUTIVAR (8) was denied forward position last start and was forced to retreat to the rear as the red figure fav. Working home wide out in good order when 5m from the winner, he will be looking for gaps to chime in here.

SELECTIONS: PARAVANI (1), NURBURGRING (6), KINGOFTHESTARS (9), CAUTIVAR (8)
SUGGESTED BET: PARAVANI (1) to win

RACE FIVE

SAM IS PERFECTION (9)
slid into the 1x1 trail from gate 5 last time out over this trip. Following the speed had bullets to fire when presented wider on the track and hit the target in taking a 1m victory. Luckless the start prior, he should secure a nice position here and look to again arrive for the prize.

FEELINGFORARAINBOW (1) has been to the track 3 times this campaign and should be close to a fitness peak. Not much went his way last time out when stuck in traffic when he needed space which followed a similar return the start prior over the mile. From the gate he has the options to challenge.

JOHNNY WHITE (3) held the pocket trail from inside the 2nd line here last week when making a closing play up the passing lane to be within 2m of the winner MIDNIGHT MAN. Settling close to the action he is in the mix.

SIR JULIAN (2) was asked to grind a tough mile last start and was in for the fight when 8m in arrears of the winner MIDNIGHT MAN. Strong in the closing stages the start prior, he can look to fire an early shot here.

SELECTIONS: SAM IS PERFECTION (9), FEELINGFORARAINBOW (1), JOHNNY WHITE (3), SIR JULIAN (2)
SUGGESTED BET: SAM IS PERFECTION (9) to win

RACE SIX

MADAMOISELLE JUJON (8)
has been kept fresh since her last appearance when a beaten fav behind LORIMER LADY over the 2138m. Snagged back from gate 7 to find position, the run was full of merit in attacking the line strongly. With the likelihood of a cosy trip here, she can take the snipers shot.

MILLWOOD TILLY (9) started from gate 10 here last week when looking to work home into the contest in the closing stages, beaten 8m. Runner-up after working hard in the run here 2 starts back when 2m in arrears of VENUS JUJON, she can look for the right trail to throw down a closing challenge.

KOTARE ELITE (1) rolled forward from gate 5 last start to apply the heat in the run and with the speed on, faded in the closing stages. Back to mares company from this gate, she will be gripping on.

MACH TORQUE (6) was able to find the pocket trail last start and from there chased for the silver when 4m from the winner POWER SURGE. Runner-up her past 2 starts, she is a podium hope again.

SELECTIONS: MADAMOISELLE JUJON (8), MILLWOOD TILLY (9), KOTARE ELITE (1), MACH TORQUE (6)
SUGGESTED BET: MADAMOISELLE JUJON (8) to win

RACE SEVEN

It may only be a small field, but this shapes as a cracking contest where the fit and firing ONE CHANGE (6) will be looking to remain undefeated at The Creek. He comes into this fresh up after his last win back in September when too tough in grinding out the 1.51.1 mile from the breeze. Given an easy time to open the pipes in a trial, he can stay ahead of his main danger.

GOVERNOR JUJON (7) returns from a spell and without a preparatory trial following last week’s rain. A winner of his past 6 in succession, he was too strong last time out in the South East Derby from gate 5. He is all class, but the fitness give-away to ONE CHANGE along with the gate might be too much 1st up.

BOMBADIER JUJON (4) has had a great season as he continues to develop and will be tightened from his latest start when 3rd to NURBURGRING. Charging home to get within a neck of ONE CHANGE over this trip 2 starts back, he will not be far away.

DOUBLE OR NOTHING (5) should enjoy a return to facing his own age after tackling some seasoned campaigners of late. Beaten by gate 7 behind the flying THE FORTUNATE SON last start, he scored a tidy win at Redcliffe 2 starts back. He has exotic claims.

SELECTIONS: ONE CHANGE (6), GOVERNOR JUJON (7), BOMBADIER JUJON (4), DOUBLE OR NOTHING (5)
SUGGESTED BET: ONE CHANGE (6) to win

RACE EIGHT

GODDESS JUJON (8) held the 1x1 trail last start in a similar mares event when closing out nicely to grab the bronze when 1.5m in arrears of the winner JERADAS DELIGHT. Beaten by gate 6 when too far back the start prior, she looks set for the perfect trip here to make the closing shot a winner.

FEEL LIKE DANCIN (1) was looking to make it 4 wins from her past 5 starts here last time out when gate 7 was her undoing, forced to retreat to find position. Too strong in front here 2 starts back in a similar event over this trip, she looks set to capitalise from the gate and be looking to fight them off.

VOUCHERS (2) made an immediate impact in Qld when successful in mid-week company. Sent straight to the front over the 2138m, she was able to control the tempo to sizzle home in a sub 55 closing half. From the good gate she is right in this.

WITH THE BAND (6) racked up another minor last start to make it 6 in succession where she has been in the top 3. Making a closing dive to get within a neck of the winner, she can feature again here.

SELECTIONS: GODDESS JUJON (8), FEEL LIKE DANCIN (1), VOUCHERS (2), WITH THE BAND (6)
SUGGESTED BET: GODDESS JUJON (8) to win

RACE NINE

COLT THIRTY ONE (7) completed a hat-trick of wins last week when taking control and dictating proceedings from the front. Allowed to get away with a 62.5 opening half followed by just a 29.1 3rd split, it was a turn and burn and laying down a 26.5 closer in front was never going to be challenged. In great touch, this looks in the bank.

FAME ASSURED (5) was game in chasing to grab the bronze behind COLT THIRTY ONE last start and in the process ripped home the final panel in 26.19, making it the fastest closing 400m since the track has been resurfaced. Chasing hard the start prior behind TURN IT UP, she can make a play for the silver.

LILAC FLASH (3) continues to rattle home in slick closing panels, but just cannot seem to get things in his favour for a win. Hitting the line strongly 2 starts back when 3rd, he can be chiming in again.

MAYWYNS BEST (2) was chasing in vain from the 1x1 trail last week and from the gate this week can look to fire an early shot. Never far from the action, he will be near the money once again.

SELECTIONS: COLT THIRTY ONE (7), FAME ASSURED (5), LILAC FLASH (3), MAYWYNS BEST (2)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 7 / 2-3-4-5

RACE TEN

MONARO MIA (8) heads North to join the stables of Terry Hancock, arriving after 4 starts- all at Menangle- since resuming from a break. Forced to grind a tough mile from the mobile 2 starts back, She was in for the fight when runner-up to CONON BRIDGE. A previous winner of the DJA and with 2 wins in 3 outings here at The Creek, she can look to strike.

GREG THE GREAT (9) was safely away off this tape last start and was strong to the line when 2nd to MIRACLE RISING in a smart closing 800m. Locked away the start prior when id-field behind MAJSTIC SIMON, he can look to secure the right cart into the contest to throw down a closing challenge.

JEDDY R YA READY (1) looked to have found his race here 2 starts back when making an uncharacteristic error that ended his chances. Only 5m away last start, he can be tucked in behind and ready to strike.

SIR FAHRENHEIT (7) was banished to the trials last start after making an error in the run that ended his chances to make it successive runs ended by mistakes. After a smart trial against the pacers, he is in the mix.

SELECTIONS: MONARO MIA (8), GREG THE GREAT (9), JEDDY R YA READY (1), SIR FAHRENHEIT (7)
SUGGESTED BET: MONARO MIA (8) to win
