RACE TWO

ARMA AUGUSTUS (9) was huge in defeat here 4 starts back after making an error and looking to have lost all chance, caught them up and fought on for the bronze. Franking the power of that effort, he has won all 3 starts since, the latest when finishing over the top for a simple 6m win. He looks to have their measure.

RAINBOW STYLING (1) started from the 2nd line last time out and could not go on with them when 12m from the winner ONLYSBEST. Setting the speed over the mile 2 runs back, he was trying to fight them off when grabbed late and only 2m away from the winner. From the gate he will be gripping on.

JENUFLECTION (8) was eased to find position from gate 4 last time out and was soon locked down on the poles when finishing mid-field. Working hard and striking trouble 2 back, she has podium hopes.

CHUMP CHOP (7) was beaten by gate 7 over the AP mile last start and never in the mix. Closing strongly the start prior when only a half-head away, he will be probing the gaps to join in here.

SELECTIONS: ARMA AUGUSTUS (9), RAINBOW STYLING (1), JENUFLECTION (8), CHUMP CHOP (7)
SUGGESTED BET: ARMA AUGUSTUS (9) to win

RACE THREE

ITMIGHTBEYOU (1) was 1st up from a freshen last time out when looking to take them all the way from gate 2. Trying to kick clear in the stretch, the winner had sat on her back throughout and made the most of the economical run to score. Taking control of this, she will be looking to stave them off.

GHOST GUM (7) was asked to do it the tough way last start when sent to the breeze and working hard in the run could not see it out. Releasing the speed after leading early here 2 starts back, he held on for the bronze behind ARMA AUGUSTUS. In this line-up with a cosy trip, he can strike.

HOLLIE (5) was asked to race tough last start when sent to the breeze from gate 6 and after the tough trip could not see it out. A winner here 3 back when leading throughout, she can feature here.

TEACHERS PET (3) started from inside the 2nd line at Marburg last start and was soon buried in the run. Finding a gap, she was closing hard to get within an eyelash of victory. From the gate she is in the mix.

SELECTIONS: ITMIGHTBEYOU (1), GHOST GUM (7), HOLLIE (5), TEACHERS PET (3)
SUGGESTED BET: ITMIGHTBEYOU (1) to win

RACE FOUR

ROCK STAR BABE (3) was in behind the leader over the Marburg sprint trip last start when holding on for the bronze behind STRAYTOTHEPOOLROOM. Unable to see it out from in front here 2 starts back as RAGNAROK swept home to score, she has looked to have her chance a few times now, this looks another case of that.

TIMENPATIENCE (1) will have garnered some good experience from her 1st 2 race starts, the latest when striking trouble and making an error in the run. Following home behind JAGGERS SWAGGER when on debut, she steps out at The Triangle for the 1st time and from the gate looks to get a chance.

POPEYE RUSSELL (8) faces the starter for just the 3rd time and comes up with another tough alley. From this gate last start he was back in the running line when mid-field. With added experience he has podium claims.

SWEET SCOOT (7) was effectively in front last start as the leader was 50m clear of the pack most of the trip and she tired under the effort of trying to lead them up. With the cosy run here she has a place hope.

SELECTIONS: ROCK STAR BABE (3), TIMENPATIENCE (1), POPEYE RUSSELL (8), SWEET SCOOT (7)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE FIVE

FEEL THE REIGN (1)
will take good benefit from his latest outing when 1st up back in the Turpin barn. Angled to the pegs from the 2nd line he was searching for some space when only 4m in arrears of the winner BOHANNAN. With the options off the ace, he looks set to capitalise.

BRIDGET BLUE CHIP (2) landed gate 7 last time out and was snagged back to find position before making strong ground in the closing stages when only 8m in arrears of the winner THATS HOW WEROLL. Hitting the board in 4 of 5 attempts here at Redcliffe, she can throw down the challenge.

HAVANA MOON (7) was back in the pack from the 2nd line last start at The Creek when down the line behind IT AINT THE MONEY. Only 3m away via the passing lane 4 runs back, he has early options.

MAJORDOIT (3) was asked to roll the sleeves to do it the tough way last start and was in for the fight in a slick 1850m at Marburg when 1m from the leader and winner. With a tidy record at the track, he is in the mix.

SELECTIONS: FEEL THE REIGN (1), BRIDGET BLUE CHIP (2), HAVANA MOON (7), MAJORDOIT (3)
SUGGESTED BET: FEEL THE REIGN (1) to win

RACE SIX

RITCHIE BEE (1)
eased to the pegs looking for the short-cuts last start from barrier 4. Looking to lead throughout the start prior, he could not see it out when 9m from the winner SIGNORINA JUJON. With the chance to hold them wide, if he can pinch a panel in front he will take catching.

GUY LOOKS GOOD (7) tackled the AP mile last start when chasing home behind the all the way winner BOULDER CITY. That followed a sound effort when 2nd up from a break and finishing 9m in arrears of the winner JILLIBY JACKPOT. With a soft trip he can be ready to shoot through the gaps.

WILLSINTOWN (8) settled in the running line from gate 2 last time out but could not go on with it in the closing stages behind DENNINGTON HEIGHTS. The pegs can be the play here and he can chime in.

SOMEGIRLSOMEWHERE (6) was 1st up in Qld off a spell when big in defeat after making an early error yet only finishing 5m away. Only 2m away last start, she can be joining in to feature here.

SELECTIONS: RITCHIE BEE (1), GUY LOOKS GOOD (7), WILLSINTOWN (8), SOMEGIRLSOMEWHERE (6)
SUGGESTED BET: RITCHIE BEE (1) to win

RACE SEVEN

DENNINGTON HEIGHTS (1) was 1st up in Qld here 2 runs back when going to the line searching for some gaps and not really getting a crack at them. Last start when making the most of an improved gate, he was sent straight to the front and never in danger thereafter. From the gate he can go again.

MY ULTIMATE LOUIE (8) resumed from a spell in good style when winning 1st up over the sprint trip. As the lone 2nd liner, he was away from the inside in the early stages before being sent to the breeze and forging clear for an easy 15m victory. This is a step-up but the win had power and he can repeat.

TAJIE BABY (3) was sent forward from gate 6 to race first over last time out but could not go with the leader and winner FROST EN ICE who pulled clear to a big win. From an improved gate she is in the mix.

ALI DOWNUNDER (5) has no favours from this alley, but he is never far from the action and might just find this a shade easier. A smart winner here 4 starts back, he can be chiming in late.

SELECTIONS: DENNINGTON HEIGHTS (1), MY ULTIMATE LOUIE (8), TAJIE BABY (3), ALI DOWNUNDER (5)
SUGGESTED BET: DENNINGTON HEIGHTS (1) to win

RACE EIGHT

A KERRY MAN (8) was forced to grind it out when cutting the breeze all the way over the 2040m last start and made one closing dive to get within a lip of the winner NIKALONG HENRY. Working home from the 2nd line when only a head away here 3 runs back, he can arrive.

ROCKNROLL SWINGER (1) looked to take them all the way 2 starts back over the AP mile and setting a sharp tempo could not see it out as the in-form LARRY LINCOLN blitzed them. Appreciating a return to The Triangle last start, she finished best to claim a tidy win. She has the options to challenge.

MONTEREY JACK (9) held the pocket trail from inside the 2nd line last time out when finishing 3rd behind NIKALONG HENRY. Arriving late to score over the AP mile 2 starts back, he can chime in late.

VIEWYTHEROCK (7)
was a Marburg winner 2 starts back when finishing best down the outside after retreating early from a wide gate. Best of the chasers behind MISTER COLE last start, if able to settle he can join in.

SELECTIONS: A KERRY MAN (8), ROCKNROLL SWINGER (1), MONTEREY JACK (9), VIEWYTHEROCK (7)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-7-8-9

RACE NINE

A tough event to close the card where those at the front of the map might just be vulnerable. OUR UNCLE ALAN (9) has a handy record here on The Triangle and with the right cart into the action, might just be able to prevail. Beaten by gate 7 in a qualifier last start, he was strong in victory here 3 starts back.

WHOSTOLEMYPIGEON (6) has been runner-up at his past 2 starts when working home from 2nd line draws on each occasion. Closing stoutly last start when within 2m of the winner NIKITARAS, it had followed a similar run when 3m from JUST JOSHIN. Look for him making a closing swoop.

SPRINGFIELD SPIRIT (5) did some early work from this gate 2 runs back before receiving cover when holding the bronze. The gate stings but settling close to the action he can feature in this.

MISTER HART (8) tried to take them all the way here last start over the sprint trip after leading them up from gate 2. Gunned down in front 2 starts back when holding on for 3rd, he can be chiming in.

SELECTIONS: OUR UNCLE ALAN (9), WHOSTOLEMYPIGEON (6), SPRINGFIELD SPIRIT (5), MISTER HART (8)
SUGGESTED BET:
