Racing Queensland advises participants of a change to the November programs for Ipswich.
Sufficient nominations were received to run a full eight heats of the Group 2 Ipswich Cup on Thursday 5 November. Due to this event taking precedence, there were not enough remaining races to draw all other programmed events for the meeting.
As such, the Class 1 Novice 520m, originally scheduled for Thursday 5 November, will now be programmed on Saturday 7 November. Racing Queensland will accept fresh nominations for this event and trainers that nominated for Thursday must re-nominate for Saturday.
The revised program for Ipswich Saturday 7 November is as follows:
- Ipswich Sprint Heats Open 431m
- Maiden 520m
- Novice 520m (Class 1)
- 0-3 Wins 630m (Class 3)
- Masters 5th Grade 431m
- Graded races as required including Maiden 431m and Novice 431m
To cater for the Ipswich Sprint heats, and the Class 1 520m Novice, the Maiden 431m and Novice 431m have been downgraded in the program to graded races as required on the basis that these events are also programmed on Tuesday 10 November.
