RACE TWO

ELLE JAY (3)
started favourite last time out and it could be a case of forget the run after she led them up but faded out to be finish at the rear. Placed in the 2 starts leading into that outing, she comes up with the gate to show her early speed and bounce back to her first win here at The Creek.

KOOKABURRAPRINCESS (6) eased from gate 4 last start before trying to make a move wide off the track to get into the contest. Finishing midfield, it has been a long time between winning drinks and although the gate is a stinger once again, conditions look right for her to challenge.

THE LAST STARFIRE (9) has hit some form with 2 placings in his past 4 starts to sit alongside a Redcliffe win 2 starts back. Leading throughout on that occasion, he can be chiming in.

WRITEABOUTCHELSEA (4) made a wide move last time at Marburg and from deep off the track was making a strong challenge to be 2m from the winner and hold 2nd. She can get forward to feature.

SELECTIONS: ELLE JAY (3), KOOKABURRAPRINCESS (6), THE LAST STARFIRE (9), WRITEABOUTCHELSEA (4)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE THREE

GASMONKEY (7)
has worked his way back into some form with his Redcliffe effort 3 starts back suggesting he was headed in the right direction for his next win. That came at his next start when sent to sit parked and proving too tough. Strong to the line last start, he can look to add another AP victory to the tally.

MORESCO (1) settled in the pocket trail last start over the Redcliffe sprint trip and was trying to fight on when 7m in arrears of the winner BARKWAY ARNOLD. With a solid record at this trip where a few of her opponent’s struggle, she lands an opportunity to be an improver.

FEELINGFORAMIRACLE (8) does not have the greatest record at this distance range but comes up with the options as the lone 2nd line runner. Too strong last start at Marburg, he is in the mix.

DYNAMIC BROMAC (6) lands another tough gate, but the smaller field will aid his chances. Making some good ground over the closing stages last time, look for him chiming in.

SELECTIONS: GASMONKEY (7), MORESCO (1), FEELINGFORAMIRACLE (8), DYNAMIC BROMAC (6)
SUGGESTED BET: GASMONKEY (7) to win

RACE FOUR

ALWAYS AT NIGHT (9)
was a winner at Redcliffe 4 starts back when settling in the 1x1 trail and owning the best closing speed to take the win. Not too far away in 3 starts since that win, he has been given a freshen and despite the 2nd line can get the right trip to arrive against this line up.

BARBOO (10) started from the 2nd line last time out at Redcliffe when sent forward in a mid-race move to get outside the leader. It proved the winning move when able to graft out the win at the 1780m. Facing some tricky gates in recent outings, he lands another tough one here.

MANY DELIGHTS (2) broke a long winless streak at Redcliffe last start when sent forward to sit parked and able to out tough them and pull clear to a 5m victory. The gate is a big plus.

TRACES OF TARA (1) was not suited when asked to do it the tough way outside the leader last start and should be more appreciative of the run that this alley can afford.

SELECTIONS: ALWAYS AT NIGHT (9), BARBOO (10), MANY DELIGHTS (2), TRACES OF TARA (1)
SUGGESTED BET: ALWAYS AT NIGHT (9) to win

RACE FIVE

MISTER DECORUM (1) was a winner at Redcliffe 3 starts back when sent to the front from gate 4 and once in control pulled clear to the easiest of wins. Below his best at his past 2 starts, he comes into this fresh and first up for Dale Belford after switching barns. The gate gives him every chance.

TRACER BULLET (5) started from the 2nd line last time out and making a run over the closing stages was attacking the line to get within 2m of the winner CROWN MOJO. Blundering and hitting the track the start prior, positioning cheaply will be key to his chances here.

RISKY BUZINESS (10) started from gate 1 last start when settling in the pocket trail before getting the space to share 3rd behind REMEMBER BUBBLES. The gate is not ideal, but he can join in.

GO AWAY (8) backs up from Friday night where she looked to have podium claims. Asked to race tough in the breeze 2 starts back, she can secure an economical trip for this.

SELECTIONS: MISTER DECORUM (1), TRACER BULLET (5), RISKY BUZINESS (10), GO AWAY (8)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE SIX

THE RAGNBONE MAN (5)
has been in some consistent form on The Triangle in recent outings and will look to bring that form to headquarters. A winner from outside the front line 5 runs back in a gritty effort sitting parked, he has placed in all 4 since. With early speed he can capitalise.

THANKHEAVNFORGIRLS (1) could have finished closer with an opening sooner than it arrived last start, while 3 starts back she was strong to the line when 2m from the winner DUKE. With a soft trip in behind the speed, she can be searching for the openings to challenge.

JILLIBY GIZMO (3) has started from inside the 2nd line at his past 3 starts, the latest when soon shuffled back out of play and not featuring. Settling near the speed can see him feature.

DOWNTOWN LUCCA (4) was desperately unlucky 2 starts back at Redcliffe when searching for gaps in the stretch that never opened. Forgiving an uncharacteristic effort last start, he can bounce back.

SELECTIONS: THE RAGNBONE MAN (5), THANKHEAVNFORGIRLS (1), JILLIBY GIZMO (3), DOWNTOWN LUCCA (4)
SUGGESTED BET: THE RAGNBONE MAN (5) to win

RACE SEVEN

WOODLANDS WONDER (1)
scored a tough Redcliffe win when sitting parked and backed that up with an all the way win here from gate 4 when pulling clear to an 8m margin. A 2nd line gate proved too great last start at Redcliffe and with a return to the good alley here gets his chance.

SPEED OF SOUND (8) was handed a shot against the stronger fillies in the Changeover Classic last time out but found them a bit too slick. That shot was warranted off the back of successive wins by big margins, including a sweeping win here at the mile. She can make the closing shot a winning one.

GUY LOOKS GOOD (7) is given no favours from the wide gate, but he has hit some form, running in the top-2 in 3 of his past 4 starts. Finishing hard to score at Redcliffe 2 starts back, he can chime in.

FAVREAU (2) has hit the board in 2 of his past 3 starts, with both placings coming at Marburg, the latest when asked to grind it out when parked. Settling handy will aid his cause.

SELECTIONS: WOODLANDS WONDER (1), SPEED OF SOUND (8), GUY LOOKS GOOD (7), FAVREAU (2)
SUGGESTED BET: WOODLANDS WONDER / SPEED OF SOUND 1 / 8 quinella

RACE EIGHT

ILLAWONG DREAMTIME (1)
ended a win drought at Redcliffe last start when making the most of gate 1 to lead all the way over the 2040m trip. His run 2 starts back indicated a win was not far off after working hard in the breeze and with another top gate can look for a repeat win.

NON PASSARE (4) can be hard to catch but on recent form he should prove a challenge to his opponents. A winner at 2 of his past 4 starts, he finished over the top of them 2 starts back before fading at his most recent outing. He can throw it down to them.

REGAL NIGHTSHADE (7) was a winner on The Triangle 3 starts back when making the most of gate 1 to take them all the way. 2nd line gates have been his undoing at his past 2 and he has podium claims.

ALTANA BLUE (3) was a Marburg winner 3 starts back when pressing on to take control and once in front was never in bother. Bad alleys have hurt at his past 2 and he can be sharper here.

SELECTIONS: ILLAWONG DREAMTIME (1), NON PASSARE (4), REGAL NIGHTSHADE (7), ALTANA BLUE (3)
SUGGESTED BET: ILLAWONG DREAMTIME (1) to win

RACE NINE

SUNNY RICE (1)
eased across from a wide gate at Marburg last start before closing out in nice order to grab the silver. Tackling a much stronger contest here 2 starts back, she was hemmed away and not too far from the winner GOLDEN LACE. The gate gives her the options to strike.

JAY DEE BE ROLLIN (3) was beaten by a wide gate at Redcliffe last start after snagging back to find position. A winner when leading all the way at Redcliffe 5 starts back, he finds the gate to fire the early bullets here and try to fight them off.

SPRINGFIELD SPIRIT (9) was eased from outside the front line at Marburg last start to find the pegs and then was sound to the line to grab 3rd. Trailing through early gives him place chances.

SHAKATIE (6) capitalised on a good gate 2 starts back when able to lead all the way and claim her first victory in Qld. Unable to work into it last start, she will be chiming in here.

SELECTIONS: SUNNY RICE (1), JAY DEE BE ROLLIN (3), SPRINGFIELD SPIRIT (9), SHAKATIE (6)
SUGGESTED BET: SUNNY RICE (1) to win
