RACE TWO

PRINCESS FAITH (6)
started from a 20m impost last time out when trying to wind up over the concluding stages to get within 5m of the winner. Chasing behind HELLO JOLENE JOLENE the start prior when giving that mare 10m, a return to the front tape can be the impetus for victory.

ROSEHILL MAGIC (2) has great manners from the tapes and displayed then here 2 starts back when sent straight to the front over the 2138m from the 10m tape. Once in control, she was able to fight them off for a narrow win. Not too far from the pacers last start, she can get forward to challenge.

MINNIE BOW TIQUE (4) has now faced the starter twice in Qld since crossing the Tasman and we have yet to get a read as she has broken in both outings. Returning a handy trial since her last run, she stays under watch.

HELLO JOLENE JOLENE (3) is a hard follow but when putting together has plenty of ability. Stepping to the front and leading throughout 3 runs back, she has made errors that have ended her chances the past 2.

SELECTIONS: PRINCESS FAITH (6), ROSEHILL MAGIC (2), MINNIE BOW TIQUE (4), HELLO JOLENE JOLENE (3)
SUGGESTED BET: PRINCESS FAITH (6) to win

RACE THREE

Breaking through for his first victory at The Creek here last time under mobile conditions, CARNERA (5) had been warming up to the win after placings in 3 of his previous 5 attempts. Hitting the line in nice order the start prior over this trip to grab 3rd, he can look to go back-to-back.

THE NIGHT KING (3) has hit some nice areas in recent outings, his latest over the longer 13-furlong trip when setting the tempo before being collared in the closing strides. Hitting the line smartly the start prior behind CARNERA, he can look to throw down the challenge here.

TAM OSHANTER (4) has been kept fresh since his last outing when not facing the smoothest passage from gate 12 over the mobile 2138. Beaten a head behind subsequent winner EYRE I GO the start prior; he can be making a play.

DOWN UNDER RORS (8) started from the 10m tape last time out over the 2647m and after securing the 1x1 trail finished best to claim the victory. With the right cart into the contest, he can feature.

SELECTIONS: CARNERA (5), THE NIGHT KING (3), TAM OSHANTER (4), DOWN UNDER RORS (8)
SUGGESTED BET: CARNERA (5) to win

RACE FOUR

FOND MEMORIES (5)
started from the 2nd line over the mile last start and pressing through was able to secure the 1x1 trail. With a solid tempo throughout, she could not go with them when the sprint went on, finishing 7m from the winner. The smaller field suits for a bounce back performance.

ROCK FISHERMAN (7) has the wide gate to overcome but with just the front line and a drop in grade can is on his side. Grabbing 3rd to IT AINT THE MONEY in a Band 5 heat 2 starts back after working hard in the run, he was midfield in the final behind GOVERNOR JUJON. He can throw it down.

BEE GEES BANDIT (3) held the pocket trail from gate 1 at the mile here 2 starts back and held on for the silver behind subsequent winner STREITKID. He can find the podium again in this line up.

OUR BALOU (6) is on the back up from Friday where he was strong to the line over the closing stages behind ARTFUL MAID. That backed up a 3rd behind KEAYANG MARVEN with place claims appealing.

SELECTIONS: FOND MEMORIES (5), ROCK FISHERMAN (7), BEE GEES BANDIT (3), OUR BALOU (6)
SUGGESTED BET: FOND MEMORIES (5) to win

RACE FIVE

With 3 Albion Park starts since crossing the Tasman, HAWTHORNDEN HUNK (1) has struggled to land a marble and should appreciate his best gate since arriving. Making a closing run last week when just 3m from the winner, he can use the improved gate to full advantage.

LIFEINHEAVEN (8) finished down the line last start as GENERAL MONTANA powered home to a big victory which had followed a tidy effort behind GOLDEN LACE from the 2nd line. From this gate she can enjoy the absence of any early work to find position and be making the closing challenge.

SHOWEM SIMON (7) has been kept fresh since his last appearance and featured in a stable switch. Joining the Trent Dawson barn where he has previously been successful, he stays under watch.

SIGNOR JUJON (2) was a winner here 3 starts back at this trip from this gate when taking them all the way. Within 3m of the winner at his 2 runs since, he can be thereabouts again.

SELECTIONS: HAWTHORNDEN HUNK (1), LIFEINHEAVEN (8), SHOWEM SIMON (7), SIGNOR JUJON (2)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE SIX

WATCH PULP FICTION (7)
has been running some tidy races without cashing in of late but may just have found the right conditions for the breakthrough. Wide for a long way last start over the mile, he was continuing to give to the wire when just 3m in arrears of the winner KEY LARGO. Runner-up to HANDSOME HERO the start prior, he can arrive.

STOMPEM (3) hit the line in good order 4 starts back to grab the silver behind SAM IS PERFECTION. Not too far away in his next couple of outings, not much was in his favour last time out. From this gate he can settle near the speed and be able to make a challenge.

BEAU CISHLOM (4) has had the 2 runs back in Qld, the latest when retreating from gate 4 and making some good metres in the closing stages behind KEY LARGO. From the gate he can feature.

SABRAGE (6) has some slippery moves when used early and from the wide gate can look to get closer to the action. 3rd to the big winner HARPS last start, he can be in the mix again.

SELECTIONS: WATCH PULP FICTION (7), STOMPEMM (3), BEAU CISHLOM (4), SABRAGE (6)
SUGGESTED BET: WATCH PULP FICTION (7) to win

RACE EIGHT

SCOTCH EN ICE (6)
started from this same gate on Friday where he was put into the contest at the 800m, leading up the 3-wide train and powering home to score in smart order. Placed in all 4 previous starts including a tidy effort in the Garrards 3YO Classic, he should appreciate this level of opponent to throw down the challenge.

RECIPE FOR DREAMING (3) will appreciate this alley after starting from outside the 2nd line over the 2138m on Sat night. Sent forward from gate 5 to set the speed over the mile 2 starts back, he was grabbed in the closing strides up the passing lane. This looks within reach.

LANCELOT BROMAC (2) was making good ground when runner-up here 3 starts back over the 2138m. Settling closer to the action from this alley and at his best with a closing challenge, should be in an ideal position.

RIVERLEIGH ROCKET (10) has been traversing The Triangle in recent starts where he has been returning some handy efforts from tough gates. Heading back to headquarters, he again cops a tough alley but can be chiming in.

SELECTIONS: SCOTCH EN ICE (6), RECIPE FOR DREAMING (3) LANCELOT BROMAC (2), RIVERLEIGH ROCKET (10)
SUGGESTED BET: SCOTCH EN ICE (6) to win

RACE NINE

He will be requiring some factors to fall his way but with the scenario he is on the leaders back, KEAYANG MARVEN (8) can look to land the closing shot. A winner 4 starts back, he followed that with a luckless 2nd to GOVERNOR JUJON. He just needs the passing lane with some momentum.

HARPS (6) has hit some nice areas in recent outings with 3 wins in his past 5 trips to the track. Firing out from gate 1 to take control last start at the mile, the speed was on throughout as he claimed an all the way PB win in 1.52.5. The gate stings but he can get forward to throw it down.

MAJORCA (4) tackled a strong qualifier last start and from gate 7 was asked to do it the tough way when sent to sit parked and fighting hard for the bronze behind EL AGUILA. Her record is slick enough to be a threat.

GOLIGHTLY (9) may have a duck egg next to his name from his last outing, but that does not tell the tale. Luckless when forced to retreat from gate 6, he was strong to the line over the closing stages and can chime in.

SELECTIONS: KEAYANG MARVEN (8), HARPS (6), MAJORCA (4), GOLIGHTLY (9)
SUGGESTED BET: KEAYANG MARVEN (8) to win
