RACE TWO

ROCKNHOLME (5)
has now been to the track twice since resuming from a spell, the latest when eased from gate 6 to sit rearward. With the race controlled up front, he didn’t really warm up over the closing stages. The gate makes it tough once again, but this is within reach.

MAJOR MISHCIEF (8) started from inside the 2nd line here last week and was able to maintain the pocket trail. Trying to launch a closing raid, he held on for the silver when 1.5m from the winner. Not much went his way the start prior and trailing through early can see him throw it down here.

REGAL NIGHTSHADE (9) made the most of gate 1 here last week when keeping them wide and taking them all the way for an easy victory. At his bets out in front, he can still make a play.

FEEL THE THRILL (2) will take some added benefit from his latest start when second up from a break. A return to a tighter gate where he can get forward can see a sharper return.

SELECTIONS: ROCKNHOLME (5), MAJOR MISHCIEF (8), REGAL NIGHTSHADE (9), FEEL THE THRILL (2)
SUGGESTED BET: ROCKNHOLME (5) to win

RACE THREE

BOLTA (3)
started from outside the 2nd line last start and was eased to the pegs to save some ground. Swinging for home he was soon the widest runner and attacked the line to arrive for a narrow win as they were stretched across the track. The improved gate can see him look to dictate.

FLO RYDA (2) is at his best when saved for one run and not forced to do much early work. From this gate if able to find cover without doing too much, he should be close enough to make a late play. Only 4.5m away in a blanket finish last start, his chances rest with limiting the early work.

HARPS (7) took them all the way here last start from gate 2 when sent straight to the front and after controlling the tempo ripped home in a strong closing 800m. From this alley he will need a slice of luck.

WHOSTOLEMYPIGEON (1) was a winner here 3 starts back when finding space to the outside and finishing best to take the prize. Runner-up at his next start, a cosy trip here looks suitable.

SELECTIONS: BOLTA (3), FLO RYDA (2), HARPS (7), WHOSTOLEMYPIGEON (1)
SUGGESTED BET: BOLTA (3) to win

RACE FOUR

ALWAYS BOPPING (3)
was sent to the pegs from the 2nd line last start and never really found the open space to have a crack at them as ALBION ARK took them all the way last start. Sent forward to find the front here 3 starts back when holding on for 3rd, he can press the issue here.

A KERRY MAN (1) tackled a qualifier on Saturday night where he was snagged back soon after the start from gate 6 to settle near the rear. Asked to hang tough when parked here 2 starts back from gate 3, he can burrow through here and with the options can be in the right spot to challenge.

SHE OWNS THE DAY (8) started from inside the 2nd line over the AP mile last start and did not find the space when needed. Finishing top-2 her previous 4 in succession, this is no harder than recent efforts.

MOTU CULLEN (7) was not suited last start when unable to secure position and forced to retreat to the back of the pack. Placed his previous 3 in succession, he can be probing for the openings.

SELECTIONS: ALWAYS BOPPING (3), A KERRY MAN (1), SHE OWNS THE DAY (8), MOTU CULLEN (7)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-3-7-8

RACE FIVE

RAANI (6) will take benefit from her latest outing when resuming from a spell. Tackling the AP mile, she finds herself with the ODM embargo here after causing a false start in that event. Eased to the pegs at the retake, she never really warmed up. This looks open enough for her to descend on them.

OLIVER WINKLE (2) started from this alley last week when settling in the running line and finishing 4m from the leader and winner REGAL NIGHTSHADE that had started from gate 1. He can fire some early bullets here and settling close to the action can throw down the challenge.

MONTEREY JACK (5) was sent to sit parked here last time and after grafting in the breeze was still giving in the stretch to be just 4m from the winner ALBION ARK. He is right in the fight in the line-up.

THE CASUAL GOOSE (3) was too far back last start at headquarters when trying to launch his raid, the effort had merit under the circumstances. Settling handy, can see him in the mix.

SELECTIONS: RAANI (6), OLIVER WINKLE (2), MONTEREY JACK (5), THE CASUAL GOOSE (3)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE SIX

REGRETABLE (3)
made an immediate impact here in Qld at her first start when sent straight to the front from gate 2 and leading throughout for a comfortable victory. Taking further benefit from that run, which was her first in 6 weeks, she finds conditions to go back-to-back.

JAMAICAN RESORT (8) has struggled to land a barrier in recent starts, the latest when angled to the pegs from gate 9 to look for some shortcuts. Eased to the rear from gate 6 the start prior, he can get the right trail through here and be ready to issue a challenge in the stretch.

MIDNIGHT QUEEN (1) last tasted victory when securing the pocket trail and making the closing shot a winner. Placed in 3 of her past 5, she can secure that type of trip here to make a closing play.

WEASEL (4) held the pocket trail from inside the 2nd line here last week and chased the leader to hold on for the silver. Working home over the top to score here 5 runs back, he can be chiming in.

SELECTIONS: REGRETABLE (3), JAMAICAN RESORT (8), MIDNIGHT QUEEN (1), WEASEL (4)
SUGGESTED BET: REGRETABLE (3) to win

RACE SEVEN

WRITE TIME (8)
started in red figures from gate 6 last time out when sent forward to sit parked. Working hard in the run he was unable to see it out, fading in the closing stages. That followed 4 wins here on The Triangle in his previous 5 starts. From the gate he can gain redemption.

DATSINAHURRI (2) was not suited from the 2nd line last start and settling in the running line could not get warm when 10m from the winner HARRY CROFT. Finding the front before taking the trail here 2 starts back and holding on for the bronze, she can fire the early bullets again from this alley.

TULHURST LOVER (9) started from gate 8 last time out over the AP mile and was left chasing as were most of the field as GOTTA GO MILKING scored big. A return to Redcliffe looks to suit.

HARRY CROFT (6) does not receive many favours from this alley, but he can bring winning form to the table with a pair of victories in his past 3 starts. Charging home to arrive in the last stride last time, he is in the mix.

SELECTIONS: WRITE TIME (8), DATSINAHURRI (2), TULHURST LOVER (9), HARRY CROFT (6)
SUGGESTED BET: WRITE TIME (8) to win

RACE EIGHT

BUTCHERFEELGOOD (6)
faces the wide gate as a result of her own poor manners, but it has not stopped her in recent outings, winning from this alley at her past 2 runs here on The Triangle. Powering over the top to an easy 6m victory last start, she looks set for a repeat performance.

JOY MAKER (3) fired off the arm from this gate last time out before taking a trail but was unable to get going over the closing stages. Meeting a tougher line-up, the start prior at Marburg, she can fire some early bullets again here to be in a position to challenge.
LEFT IN THE WIND (8) should appreciate a return to this class after meeting some tougher opponents at her past 2 attempts. Not too far away in a mare’s qualifier 2 starts back, she is in the mix.

TACTFILLY MIRACLE (4) was put out of play last start in a scrimmage that ultimately saw the driver tipped out. Taking them all the way the start prior, she has place claims here fresh.

SELECTIONS: BUTCHERFEELGOOD (6), JOY MAKER (3), LEFT IN THE WIND (8), TACTFILLY MIRACLE (4)
SUGGESTED BET: BUTCHERFEELGOOD (6) to win

RACE NINE

THE CROM (4)
was sent to the post as favourite here last week from gate 1 when stepping out in Qld for the first time. Soon buried in the run, he was unable to make the closing play, finishing in a midfield position. Fitter for the outing, he can look for the account opener at start 75.

ROCK STAR BABE (1) will take good benefit from her latest start when 2nd up after 11 months off the scene. Asked to work hard after sitting parked when resuming, she has the options from this alley and with the right trip can look to capitalise in an open battle.

CONTESSA JUJON (6) resumes from a long spell, her only race start coming in August of 2020. Making an error in that race, she has been to the trials twice to prepare and despite the gate has podium claims.

MELTON KILLARA (9) has grabbed the bronze at her past 2 starts, the latest when able to find space to drop into the trail and then use the passing lane. The gate stings but she can chime in.

SELECTIONS: THE CROM (4), ROCK STAR BABE (1), CONTESSA JUJON (6), MELTON KILLARA (9)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE TEN

GOLDIES A DELIGHT (3)
takes her first look at Redcliffe and looks to have a slight class edge on her opponents. Resuming from a spell in a strong Saturday night event, she was strong to the line when only 6m from the winner TEDDY DISCO. 3rd in the Fillies Triad Final at her last start prior to spelling, she looks too slick.

JEREMES GOTTA GO (4) made the perfect start to her career when scoring a debut win at The Creek. From gate 3 she was sent straight to the front and dictated to hold off a fast finishing and subsequent winner EUGENIEN. With the added experience, she can be in the mix.

BEACH ON FIRE (6) returns from a break after being shut down following the Triad Consolation where he was just 4m from the winner in claiming 3rd. A Redcliffe winner 2 starts back, he can feature fresh.

SELECTIONS: GOLDIES A DELIGHT (3), JEREMES GOTTA GO (4), BEACH ON FIRE (6)
SUGGESTED BET: GOLDIES A DELIGHT (3) to win
