RACE TWO

ELLE JAY (3)
started from inside the 2nd line last start and avoiding a pocket was angled into the running line. Unable to get going over the closing stages, she took 3rd behind STUDLEIGH WILL, albeit 17m in arrears. Grabbed in the last strides at Marburg the start prior, this is within reach.

TORQUE TO THE MAX (5) was sent forward to sit parked last start from gate 4 and grafting it out in the breeze, was just 4m from the winner STUDLEIGH WILL. 5m away here 2 starts back when diving along the inside to grab 3rd, she can look to throw down a challenge again here.

TURN TURN FLYER (7) made the most of his opportunities here on Monday night when finishing best to claim his 3rd career victory. IN the money at 3 of his previous 5, he will be probing for openings.

CHAMPAGNE REACTOR (1) started from this gate on Monday night and with he cosy trip in behind the speed held on for the bronze. A similar trip looks on offer here.

SELECTIONS: ELLE JAY (3), TORQUE TO THE MAX (5), TURN TURN FLYER (7), CHAMPAGNE REACTOR (1)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-3-5-7

RACE THREE

MISTY CREEK (1)
had put together a streak of 5 successive wins where he had been able to dictate terms from the front on each occasion. Tackling tougher 2YO events at his past 2 starts, including a 5m margin when chasing behind TEDDY DISCO, he can look to make the most of the good alley.

CALL ME TRISH (7) started from gate 6 last start over the AP mile where she was snagged back in the early stages before making some late ground. A winner here 4 starts back when charging home down the outside to score, she can be coiled in behind the speed and ready to strike.
AYE AYE CAPTAIN (5) started favourite last start and from gate 6 was sent forward early to sit parked outside the leader and eventual winner REGAL NIGHTSHADE. Fighting hard for 3rd, he can be in the mix again here.

ILLBEWATCHING (3) was asked to race tough last start when parked from gate 5 and after the tough trip was still giving to be within 5m of the winner. From the gate he can take a good shot.

SELECTIONS: MISTY CREEK (1), CALL ME TRISH (7), AYE AYE CAPTAIN (5), ILLBEWATCHING (3)
SUGGESTED BET: MISTY CREEK (1) to win

RACE FOUR

SAMMYS SECRET (1)
has been moving closer to what is starting to prove an elusive maiden breaking win and he will line up here looking to defeat the older horses for the breakthrough. Unable to go with them against his own age last start, he was runner-up his previous 3 in succession and the gate gives him every chance.

YARRAMN ROCKY (7) has now had 3 starts and finished runner-up on all 3 occasions, the latest when looking to lead them all the way. Bumpy in his gait in the early stages, he reset to take control and then was overpowered in the closing stages by CYCLONE JEREMY. He can look to snipe.

STUDLEIGH ROWSY (3) started from inside the 2nd line last start and was soon buried in the run and not aided by not looking entirely comfortable. Settling handy here can see an improved return.

LESVOS LAD (4) was trying to make late ground here last time when finishing midfield behind CYCLONE JEREMY. Angled to the fence the start prior, he has podium hopes in this line-up.

SELECTIONS: SAMMYS SECRET (1), YARRAMN ROCKY (7), STUDLEIGH ROWSY (3), LESVOS LAD (4)
SUGGESTED BET: SAMMYS SECRET (1) to win

RACE FIVE

WOODLANDS WONDER (9) put together a pair of victories heading into a much tougher ask last time out when tackling a qualifier. Finishing down the line in that contest, he made the most of his early hustle to take control and lead throughout over the AP mile backing up from a gritty win here when parked. Despite the gate he can bounce back.

DUKE (2) showed early hustle to take control from this gate 4 starts back and setting the tempo had enough in reserve to claim victory by 2m. Beaten by wide gates in all 3 starts since that win, a return to a tighter alley here should suit and settling up near the action can see him challenge.

WHERES TASCOTT (8) was a Marburg winner 3 starts back when the door was left open at the top of the stretch for her to stride through and claim victory. Striking trouble last start, she can chime in.

STUDLEIGH WILL (7) eased across from gate 5 last time to find running line cover and then was able to finish over the top of them to claim victory by 4m. Grabbed in the closing stages 2 runs back, he will be probing.

SELECTIONS: WOODLANDS WONDER (9), DUKE (2), WHERES TASCOTT (8), STUDLEIGH WILL (7)
SUGGESTED BET: WOODLANDS WONDER (9) to win

RACE SIX

CYCLONE JEREMY (1)
took the next step here when 2nd up from a spell by griding out a tough win when sitting parked, pulling clear to post a comfortable 6m margin Returning with a narrow 2nd after 12 months off the scene, the added fitness and another good alley can see him capitalise.

SPECIAL MEANING (7) was strong to the line here 2 starts back but fell just short of the prize when grabbing the silver and finishing just a head from the winner. Asked to do it the tough way last start, she was grafting it out when 5m in arrears and with the cosy trip can take a closing shot.

OLD ENGLISH (3) has now had 3 starts since arriving in Qld and has drawn poorly on each occasion. Sent forward to take control from gate 6 before wilting last start, the improved alley is a big plus.

AUNTY FRANCES (4) held the 1x1 trail last start when looking to make a closing play but could not reel them in over the closing stages. Settling close to the action can see her press for the podium.

SELECTIONS: CYCLONE JEREMY (1), SPECIAL MEANING (7), OLD ENGLISH (3), AUNTY FRANCES (4)
SUGGESTED BET: CYCLONE JEREMY (1) to win

RACE SEVEN

SNUGGLES BANYULA (2)
started from inside the 2nd line over this trip at her most recent appearance and when the field sorted their positions, she was buried and in need of plenty of luck. It did not arrive yet she was still not too far away. Back to the front line, she gets a chance to turn it around.

ASHLEE NITRO (5) angled down to the pegs here on Monday and using the passing lane was picking off some late ground to grab the silver behind LA SAFRON. Tackling a handy mares line-up the start prior, she can find position to issue a closing challenge.

BE GOOD BENNY (4) settled rearward from the 2nd line last start when trying to launch a closing raid and finding the line in nice style to be 5m from the winner TINGE OF FEAR. Positioning cheaply will be key to his chances.

SUGARKANE (1) will take great benefit from her return to the track last start when 1st up since May. Soon hemmed away from inside the 2nd line, her Redcliffe record is exemplary and with the options is right in the fight.

SELECTIONS: SNUGGLES BANYULA (2), ASHLEE NITRO (5), BE GOOD BENNY (4), SUGARKANE (1)
SUGGESTED BET: SNUGGLES BANYULA (2) to win

RACE EIGHT

TINGE OF FEAR (4)
was building towards a win after finishing as the runner-up in 4 of her previous 5 starts. Franking that assessment here last start, she proved too strong when rolling forward to sit parked and grafting out a starchy victory in terrible conditions. Moving one spot closer to the poles, she looks hard to stop.

PIPPA MAGUIRE (6) is racing in nice touch that includes a smart win 2 starts back when powering home over the top to overcome a 2nd line barrier. Working home wide off the track over the 2040m last start from this same gate, she was within 2m of the dictating winner ALBION ARK and can throw it down once again.

DOLLARBILL (8) set a new track record at Marburg 3 starts back over the 2200m and followed that with a tough 2nd when sent to the breeze from the 2nd line. Not too far away last start, he can feature again.

MISTERRIODEJANEIRO (2) was 3-wide for a long way at his latest outing after easing back from gate 5 early. It was a strong run behind TINGE OF FEAR and had followed a luckless effort here 2 starts back.

SELECTIONS: TINGE OF FEAR (4), PIPPA MAGUIRE (6), DOLLARBILL (8), MISTERRIODEJANEIRO (2)
SUGGESTED BET: TINGE OF FEAR (4) to win
