RACE TWO

SHE OWNS THE DAY (5)
has hit the board in all 6 starts here on The Triangle with 4 wins accompanied by a pair of placings from 6 attempts. Trying to launch a closing raid from the 2nd line last start when just a neck in arrears of the winner, a return to the front line helps.

HAMMERTIME HARLEY (6) has no favours from the wide gate as she looks to go one better from her last outing when an eyelash short of victory. Charging hard in the closing stages of that race, it followed a grotty effort at the 2040m when sent to sit parked and grafting it out in gritty style.

GETALOADATHISGIRL (1) has some ordinary numbers to report back on, however there can be some excuses made. Only 1m from the winner here 4 starts back, she has the gate to chime in here.

LARA BAY (7) faced a tough gate when drawn wide in 6 last start and was making some nice metres in the latter stages when 6m from MAJOR MISCHIEF. Probing for openings can see her feature.

SELECTIONS: SHE OWNS THE DAY (5), HAMMERTIME HARLEY (6), GETALOADATHISGIRL (1), LARA BAY (7)
SUGGESTED BET: SHE OWNS THE DAY (5) to win

RACE THREE

ILLAWONG DREAMTIME (1)
sits amid a winless drought that dates to February. Asked to do it the tough way when sitting parked at the 2040m last time, he was fighting hard to finish within 6m of the winner. Buried from this gate the start prior, he finds the right race to end the streak.

ILLBEWATCHING (4) was obliged to lead up the outside division here last start as the smart 2YO MISTY CREEK was dictating in front. Fading after the tough run, it followed a similarly gritty effort over the AP mile when sitting parked and finishing within 5m of the winner.

COURAGEOUS WAYS (7) is in search of the hat-trick after wins at Marburg and here over the sprint trip. Both wins have been from the 2nd line and sighting gaps when needed here will be a big plus.

BUTCHERFEELGOOD (6) was snagged back in the early stages last start before trying to make a closing raid and chiming in for the silver.

SELECTIONS: ILLAWONG DREAMTIME (1), ILLBEWATCHING (4), COURAGEOUS WAYS (7), BUTCHERFEELGOOD (6)
SUGGESTED BET: ILLAWONG DREAMTIME (1) to win

RACE FOUR

HARRY CROFT (4)
was beaten by gate 6 last start when eased into the running line but unable to go with them in the closing stages. Sailing home for a tidy win here 2 starts back after retreating from gate 5, he took them all the way here 4 starts back and gets his chance to cash-in again.

THE RAGNBONE MAN (9) has placed in all 3 starts since claiming a tough win here 4 runs back when sitting parked and grafting out victory by a head margin. Eased off the fence from inside the 2nd line last start, he was hitting the line in nice style and can look to throw down a challenge here.

LEFT IN THE WIND (5) did not have the smoothest passage last start that resulted in her finishing down the line. Not too far away in a much stronger race the start prior, she is in the mix.

HURRIKANE SPECIAL (2) has the early bullets to fire from this alley and will be trying to fight them off thereafter. Eased from gate 5 before finishing off for the bronze last start, she will be clinging on.

SELECTIONS: HARRY CROFT (4), THE RAGNBONE MAN (9), LEFT IN THE WIND (5), HURRIKANE SPECIAL (2)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE FIVE

MISTER WOODPORT (8) is still looking for his first win in Qld but, that win is getting ever closer after finishing as the runner-up in 4 of his past 5 starts. Trying to take them all the way last time, he could not see it out when a half-head away. With even luck in transit, can this be the Qld breakthrough.

ONE HELLAVA PARTY (1) started from the 2nd line last start and settling back in the pack made a winning move to power over the top of them in the closing stages. Asked to race tough here 2 starts back and fighting hard for the bronze, he comes up with the options to challenge.

BLACKJEWEL (2) ended a long winless streak here last week when snagged back to the poles form gate 5 and then finishing with a wet sail to claim victory. Settling closer from this alley will suit.

NOLONGA YOUR CHOICE (4) fired out from gate 1 last time out and was trying to take them all the way, only being collared in the closing strides. With early speed he can fire some early bullets.

SELECTIONS: MISTER WOODPORT (8), ONE HELLAVA PARTY (1), BLACKJEWEL (2), NOLONGA YOUR CHOICE (4)
SUGGESTED BET: MISTER WOODPORT (8) to win

RACE SIX

DYNAMIC DAN (1)
will be second-up from a spell after returning in a strong 3YO feature claimed by CHAMONIX. Buried away from inside the 2nd line in that contest, he should take good benefit from the outing and with a tidy record of 2 wins and 3 minors here at Redcliffe, he comes up with the gate to capitalise.

KATACHA MAN (2) has been in super consistent form with a top-3 in his past 7 in succession. From the pocket trail last start he went within a neck of the winner over this trip which followed a half-head margin when claiming the bronze after trying to lead throughout. He will throw it down again.

LA SAFRON (8) was making some ground in the closing stages at headquarters in a qualifier last start which had followed a smart win here at the sprint trip. Stepping out for the 50th time here at The Triangle, he has podium claims.

GASMONKEY (6) pressed ahead from gate 5 over the sprint trip here last week and sitting parked proved too tough in claiming the prize. This is tougher but he can be in for the fight once again.

SELECTIONS: DYNAMIC DAN (1), KATACHA MAN (2), LA SAFRON (8), GASMONKEY (6)
SUGGESTED BET: DYNAMIC DAN (1),

RACE SEVEN

REGRETABLE (2)
was making her Qld debut here 2 runs back when pouncing on the front from gate 2 and taking them all the way. Unable to squeeze across from gate 3 last start, she was snagged back to the rear and was never in the mix thereafter. Back closer to the action looks more suitable.

TULHURST LOVER (5) made an early move from the 2nd line last time out to sit parked and despite the tough trip she was game to the wire in finishing just a half-head in arrears. The gate stings again but two the ability to graft it out, she can look to throw down the challenge.

TURN TURN FLYER (6) has no favours from this alley as he goes in search of a hat-trick after successive wins here at this trip. Too strong for them last start, he cannot be overlooked.

SHES ALL STAR (7) was eased away from the poles from this same gate last start and sent around them to sit parked. Fading late, it followed a win here at this trip and she has podium claims once more.

SELECTIONS: REGRETABLE (2), TULHURST LOVER (5), TURN TURN FLYER (6), SHES ALL STAR (7)
SUGGESTED BET: REGRETABLE (2) to win

RACE EIGHT

REDUCED TO ASHES (6)
has placed at his past 4 starts in succession, the latest when sent forward from gate 5 to sit parked and working hard in the run when just 2m from the leader and winner OCTOBER RACKETEER. Charging home the start prior, he finds the right race despite the gate.

MILADY MAYHEM (8) faced defeat by big margins in 2 runs at Albion Park to start her career and then came to The Triangle where she was being urged along a lap out at her third career start. Finishing well down the line, she was able to turn it around here 5 days later and open her account with victory. Off that she can be in the mix again.

JOY TO ALL (3) was returning from a spell here last start when finding the 1x1 trail from gate 4. Finishing best of the rest for 3rd behind a breakaway pair, she can chime in again.

BLACKJACK JIM (2) makes his return from a break and has opened the pipes with a tidy trial hit out. Both his career wins have been on this track and he is in the mix.

SELECTIONS: REDUCED TO ASHES (6), MILADY MAYHEM (8), JOY TO ALL (3), BLACKJACK JIM (2)
SUGGESTED BET: REDUCED TO ASHES (6) to win

RACE NINE

MERIBEL (8)
started from gate 1 last time out and soon released for the trail and was best of the chasers behind the comfortable winner GOLDIES A DELIGHT. Fitter for that run which was her first outing since the Fillies Triad Final back in July, she finds conditions to get on the board.

VODKA EN ICE (5) has placed in 3 of his 6 starts here at The Triangle earlier this season and returns up the Houghton Highway following 2 runs back from a spell at The Creek. Buried away last start as MISTER REACTOR claimed victory, he grabbed 3rd when resuming behind EUGENIEN and can challenge.

INDY JEWEL (7) returns from a spell with a change to join the Dixon barn during her break. Last seen in the G1 APG Final back in August, she will be searching for the openings.

SHEZA CHANCE (9) found the pocket trail last start over the AO mile when tackling a mixed maiden and chased hard for 2nd to TUESDAYS ROCK. Back to her own age can see her chiming in.

SELECTIONS: MERIBEL (8), VODKA EN ICE (5), INDY JEWEL (7), SHEZA CHANCE (9)
SUGGESTED BET: MERIBEL (8) to win

RACE TEN

SENORA JUJON (1)
fired out from gate 3 to look for an all the way win last start. Setting a steady tempo in front, she was collared in the latter stages to finish 6m in arrears of the winner through a 31.8 closing panel. From the ace she gets every chance to open the account.

DIG DEEP (2) continues to move ever closer to the moment of glory after placing at her past 4 in succession. Starting from the 2nd line last start, she worked home in nice order wide off the track when best of the chasing bunch behind the easy winner ROCK WITH ZARA.

GAME KEEPER (3) has finished in 3rd place at each of his past 2 starts, the latest when settling in the pocket trail from inside the 2nd line. Settling close to the action, he can again be in the mix.

SLIDE TO UNLOCK (7) resumes from a spell after she tapered off last campaign. Returning without a public trial, she has the gate to get the economical trip for a closing play.

SELECTIONS: SENORA JUJON (1), DIG DEEP (2), GAME KEEPER (3), SLIDE TO UNLOCK (7)
SUGGESTED BET: SENORA JUJON (1) to win
