RACE TWO

ROYAL TAZ (2) was facing the breeze last start over the sprint trip after pressing forward from gate 4 but couldn’t see it out. Run down in the closing strides here 4 starts back when returning from a spell he should be close to full fitness and from the gate can go all the way.

TASCOTT LADY (8) has been in the money at her past 4 in succession with her past 2 from 2nd line draws. Holding the pocket trail last start she poked through late to grab the silver behind BLUE EYED CREATION. She can get a trail through in the early stages to settle handy and has claims.

GOTOTHEMOON (3) has ability but can also do plenty wrong in his races. Returning from a break 2 starts back he made an error and then last start worked too hard. He looks set for a tough run yet can be sharper.

LADY ELL AYE (1)
claimed the bronze here last start after a soft run in transit from this same gate over the mile. She rises to the 2040m trip but again with the easy run can chime in late.

SELECTIONS: ROYAL TAZ (2), TASCOTT LADY (8), GOTOTHEMOON (3), LADY ELL AYE (1)
SUGGESTED BET: ROYAL TAZ (2) to win

RACE THREE

ONE MANS PASS (9) has 3 wins and 3 minors from his past 6 starts and been no closer than gate 5 at his past 5 starts. Buried in the run last start, when he finally saw open space the leader and winner was off and gone. He will need the tempo one to charge late but must be respected.

ELMAUR JOY (2) has finished 4th at her past 3 in succession with 2 of those when not suited from 2nd line gates. Grabbed in the closing stages 2 starts back over the 2138m at AP when looking to go all the way, her latest effort was solid finishing hard behind BIG IN AMERICA. She will be gripping on.

SPONDOOLEY (1) was left in the breeze last start which isn’t his go and he faded out after the run. From the gate he can look for the cosy run behind the pace and will be ready to strike.

THERESACHANCE (3) wasn’t far from the winner THATS HOW WEROLL 2 starts back and then last start faded after a tough run. With the right run he can be in the mix.

SELECTIONS: ONE MANS PASS (9), ELMAUR JOY (2), SPONDOOLEY (1), THERESACHANCE (3)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE FOUR

MIRACLESDOAPPEN (1)
looked to take them all the way over this trip 3 starts back from this same gate and was run out in the run to the wire by LYNNSANITY. This is easier than the mares qualifier she took on last start and from the gate she can look to take them all the way.

KEARNEY LANE (8) fought on in good order at Marburg 2 starts back when 3rd to BONNIE JUJON. Taken back from gate 5 last start she found the line in good style when 2nd to BLUE EYED CREATION and with the right run in transit here can look to issue a closing challenge.

OUR PEPPERJACK (4) was beaten 2m behind LYNNSANITY over the AP mile 2 starts back and then last start couldn’t work into the contest. Provided he isn’t too far back in transit he has some claims.

BERTILS DELIGHT (9) will take good benefit from her latest run when returning from a break and 1st up for the new stable and leading all the way. The gate hurts but she won’t be far away.

SELECTIONS: MIRACLESDOAPPEN (1), KEARNEY LANE (8), OUR PEPPERJACK (4), BERTILS DELIGHT (9)
SUGGESTED BET: MIRACLESDOAPPEN (1) to win

RACE FIVE

VADER (2) has worked his way into some form and put the writing on the wall when hitting the line nicely behind FRANCO TOTEM 4 starts back. He franked that with a win at his next outing and his latest run was solid in the breeze outside TOM ME GUN. From the gate he can look to dictate.

KETUT (7) will have the early options to get away from the pegs early if needed to settle in the right position. Buried away last start at AP he couldn’t work into it late behind THE CHARGING MOA. With even luck in transit look for him making the closing play.

SHEZABONNYGEM (3) worked home in good order here 5 starts back to be within 2m of the winner. Not suited in her 4 runs since that effort, she looks better suited from this gate and has podium claims.

THUNDER MAC (4) will take benefit from his latest start when returning from a freshen. Starting from gate 10 he was too far back when the leader pinched it. Getting forward early he can ask some questions.

SELECTIONS: VADER (2), KETUT (7), SHEZABONNYGEM (3), THUNDER MAC (4)
SUGGESTED BET: VADER (2) to win

RACE SIX

PHOTOZEN (8)
will be sharpened from his latest outing when returning from a spell. Buried on the pegs from inside the 2nd line he struck a strong Gold Pot heat and chased home fairly behind OPONONIS BLISS. He faces a tricky gate but he looks to have a class edge on his opponents.

BEEF CITY BLAZE (7) will be needing some factors to fall his away and a slice of luck thrown in as well, but if able to find space is some chance in this. His run last start was a solid effort when 2m from the winner and 3 starts back closed hard behind MUCH BETTOR. Just needs a gap.

JAKES ARK (4) found the line well last start behind FAKEROCKNROLL and from the gate gets his chance to get forward ahead of the main dangers. With even luck he can be around the mark here.

ZED EXPRESS (6) has no favours from this alley but has been meeting a slightly tougher fields in recent starts. An all the way winner from gate 1 here 4 starts back he has podium claims.

SELECTIONS: PHOTOZEN (8), BEEF CITY BLAZE (7), JAKES ARK (4), ZED EXPRESS (6)
SUGGESTED BET: PHOTOZEN (8) to win

RACE SEVEN

MARTHAS VINEYARD (5) pressed forward from this gate last start and faced the breeze throughout and was grabbed in the closing stages to go under a head. She can do plenty wrong in her races and comes with a caveat emptor, but this looks her chance for a breakthrough.

PETES PET ROCK (1) will be 2nd up in Qld after a handy effort last start when stepping out for the Darrel Graham team for the 1st time. She should take benefit from the run as it was her 1st starts in 6 weeks and from the gate she is in the mix.

DOOLITTLE DOOZZIE (3) is a well-bred filly on debut for Ricky Hart that trialled in good order. By Pet Rock out of the 14-time winner Cha Ching Chaching she stays under notice.

KID CALVERT (7) secured the pocket trail last start and kept pushing to the line to finish 1m from the winner and claim the bronze. With another soft trip he has can be looking for an opening.

SELECTIONS: MARTHAS VINEYARD (5), PETES PET ROCK (1), DOOLITTLE DOOZZIE (3), KID CALVERT (7)
SUGGESTED BET:
